Love everything about these slippers except that the soles are slippery. My foot slides backward on the floor every step I take. Are they all like this? It's uncomfortable.

Way too big and wide for my average 7.5 foot and just generally underwhelmed by them but nothing wrong with them per se.

If you like polyester.....the closed version of this slipper - Gemma - was too much for me. I wear the open toed version and thought I might like this for cooler weather, because sometimes my toes get cold (easily remedied with socks) but the synthetic material in the Gemma is way too warm for me. If you're OK with that, the slipper is otherwise comfortable standing and has the desired arch support, but feels a bit sloppy when walking.

These do not have the heel support that they once did. My first pair of house shoes had great heel & arch support & it's a shame that that has not been continued in all of their shoes. But still better than nothing.

My podiatrist recommended this brand for my plantar fasciitis. It felt great for my heel pain. But I have bunions and after walking in them the arch in the slippers added too much pressure on my bunions, adding pain to them.
I'd also recommend:
UGG slippers and boots are comfortable with a 3/4 insert for plantar fasciitis. Birkenstocks.

I purchased these slippers about a month ago. They are not what I expected. They are not cushioned and very heavy and hard. Very disappointed.

Not for me. Feet kept slipping out. Need a slipper with a back of heel support.

The arch is very high and hard! If you have fallen arches, and wide feet, the edge of the arch support tends to cut into the bottom of your foot. Otherwise very cushy.

I was looking for an additional pair of the shearling slippers I love so much but apparently they've discontinued them. The support was far superior to these. You have to work hard to keep them on and I am an 11 wide.

I was really happy with this slippers. They help me with my plantar Fancitis . However it's May 1 and the slippers has became soft and the pain as came back . They are good but don't last long ;( .

The Vionic Gemma runs wide and is not right for a narrow to medium foot such as mine. The adjustment tab does not make a significant difference in the width. This style is available only in full sizes, and the 8 was too long for my size 7.5 foot. I could not evaluate the arch support since the slipper was so loose that I could walk only a few steps. This is disappointing since my other Vionic sandals fit well.

I have been wearing the Classic Walker because of Plantar Fasciitis for 5 months. II believe the arch support in that shoe is good and is helpful for my condition. So I decided to buy the Gemma Mule because I wanted something different to wear in the mornings and evenings. However the arch support in the Mule was much higher and harder. They were uncomfortable for me. I think if you like the shoes with built in arch support you may not like the shoes with the arch support inserts and if you like the shoes with the inserts you may not like the shoes with built in arch supports. They are definitely different in feel. So I would recommend that you try both and see which you one helps you.

Had to return as the forefoot was not covered up high enough and my feet felt like they were slipping out of them even though I had the velcro snug. Disappointed, as I liked the arch support.

I absolutely love the arch support. However even with the Velcro adjustment my foot is to shallow for these slippers and I have to "hold on" by walking with my toes up to keep them from flinging off. Maybe an additional Velcro adjustment on the medial side would help.

My size is 6.5 and based on reviews ordered a 6. Felt a bit short, my heel was right on edge and it also felt wide. Difficult to walk in as they kept slipping sideways. Might have been better if there was some heel backing to prevent this. I returned them. Thank you, Zappos, for such an easy return process!! Going to try the Spenco slippers to see if they’re better for me.

I bought these in two different sizes just to be able to test them both. Regardless of the size, I felt like the shoe was falling off unless I tightened the velcro strap so tight it was uncomfortable. Too bad casue I love the arch support.
I'd also recommend:
Birkenstocks

The arch was too high for me. I returned them and bought the Sadie Mule slipper. I love my new Sadie Mule slipper!

I typically wear anywhere from 5-6 in shoes. I purchased the 5 and I feel like these ran very big. I put them on tried to chase after my 13 month old and tripped a few times. I feel like I would need shoes with a backing as well as something for fitting to my foot. Just not the right size for me.

Haven’t worn these yet- have another color I love though- these look either worn or like they got glue on the insole when they manufactured them. Might return them

I've purchased Vionic slippers in the past. I like the arch support, solid sole and overall fit. The only thing I'm not crazy about is the fabric. It's slick and I would prefer a true terry cloth or wool. I believe the fabric is polyester. That probably keeps the price down.

I ordered these because I had worn out my relax slippers and was going to try a new style. I prefer the relax slippers to these. These are fine but the relax slippers were one of the most comfortable things I've ever put on my feet.

When I first started wearing Vionic they were GREAT! I have severe pronation and these fixed my foot problems. Well success ruined them. They have changed their shoes and now they hurt me. My heel hurts AFTER I wear these. It almost cripples me it pulls and I almost have to drop to my knees. These slippers ruined my feet. No. More. Overpriced. Vionic

I had to return the item due to a defect on the left slipper arch support. A part of the hard stitching and/or glue protrudes to cut into my arch. Can't say I can rate comfort since I did not get to use them.
