I was very much looking forward to receiving these Orthaheel slippers as I have a heel spur and thought they would be good to wear around the house. I received the slippers and wore them for about a week and the innersole lining on both slippers started coming detached. I contacted Zappos and they were very helpful in sending me another pair. So far they are holding up okay. I will say though that the arch support is very hard and takes some getting used to. I really don't think they are worth the price.

I purchased this shoe for the Orthaheel "special arch support and heel bed construction." The Orthaheel Brand is designed for "natural foot/ankle alignment." Initially the shoes were great. After 4 weeks of normal indoor slipper wear, I was disappointed when the special construction design failed. Problem: The outer edge of the "heel cup" on the left shoe has flattened. Consequently, my foot slides off the shoe when I walk, which interferes with proper foot alignment. I expected more for the money. Thank you Zappos for your time and attention.

I have been suffering from Plantar Fasciitis for almost 9 months when I purchased these slippers. As a stay at home mom I am on my feet all day and prefer not to wear shoes in the house. I needed a pair of slippers that provided me with great support throughout the day. These slippers did that but after having them for four months the interior lining is slipping away. If I do not wear socks, then your can feel the rubber interior of the slipper...very uncomfortable. If I wear socks, it is okay. I would love a new pair but with the cost so high and them falling apart so quickly I am looking elsewhere.

The arch in this slipper feels like walking on some kind of lump. I found it to be very uncomfortable, even though I wear only shoes with arch support. I will be returning them.

These slippers fill a need I've had for years, to have a slipper that was comfy and ortho correct too! I have used Crocs RX at home for years, but I have to wear socks in the winter of course. These slippers make that unnecessary. They are very comfortable and do have good arch support. My feet kind of slide around in them even when I pull the hook-and-loop tight, which is why theyt don't get 5. I've had other problems with other Orthoheel shoes in the past, specifically a broken buckle twice on the same model of sandal. And my experience is that Orthoheel is usually non man made uppers, so if breathability is important to you, buy Orthoheel sandals or check the materials carefully before buying. The slippers are plenty roomy but still cozy with bare feet or light socks. When I have heavy socks on, I go back to my Crocs. So it's delicious to be able to to slide into these first thing in the morning. And since they have a firm, outdoor bottom, I can wear them out to walk the dog in the yard.

I was hoping this slipper would fit like a glove, since it has a deep heel cup and is supposedly great for plantar fasciitis. I tried it on and only wore it for a bit (sitting down at the computer), and my back began to hurt. I think the Giesswein slipper with removal insole will be a better fit for me, as I can insert my orthotic under the insole.

I am a HUGE fan of Orthaheel, as their Tide sandal has given me the ability to walk without pain for the first time in three years. When the summer was over, I bought this slipper so I could have the same needed arch support in an indoor slipper. While I do think the platform of the slipper is the same as the sandal, unlike the Tide sandals I can wear all day, I find these slippers are not as comfortable...primarily, because the slipper is lined with fabric and I find myself "falling OFF" the shoe bed which is not good. I think the slippers would be better with the rubber insole which provides more stability.

Thes are really cute, and I had high hopes for them as comfortable, supportive slippers for my aching feet. But they have got too much arch for me. It felt like walking on tennis balls.

You would need to have very high arches for these to be comfortable. They were nice looking (for slippers) and exactly what I was looking for, but my feet couldn't take the very hard arch pressing into them. Ouch. Unfortunately, had to return.

I looked forward to a comfortable, cozy slipper. The arch support is so hard that I would say it is uncomfortable.

I was so excited to receive these slippers, as the doctor recommended I wear supportive shoes, even in the house. These would have been great, except that the top of the slipper rubbed the top of my foot when I walked, causing them to create a new foot problem that I didn't expect. I give them 3 stars, because aside from that, they were very comfortable and the arch support was what I needed. Exchanging these for some Orthaheel sandals instead.

I ordered this slipper because I have plantar fasciitis and have had some relief from Orthaheel flip flops. The sole has the same great arch support, but the top of the slipper was very tight and dug into my foot. I don't have large feet so this was odd. Had to return them.

The reason I ordered the slippers was to get good arch support. They do offer that. The color I ordered was the leopard print and while it is cute, the fabric is not of the quality I expected it to be. I have only worn them for a couple of weeks and already the toe area is wearing thin. As I am accustomed to good, well-made shoes, these do not seem to have the best design for cradling my particular foot. As far as size, I did order a 7 instead of usual 7.5 and it fits pretty well, except the toe box is shallow. I probably will go back to my usual Stegmans, but wanted to give these a try. Zappos service is excellent.

The insole came loose and bunched up, making slipper rough inside and not comfortable. This happened after only a few weeks of inside wear.

I wore these slippers around the house for a few days, trying to decide if I could live with the style. They fit OK but looked enormous on my feet! I guess the padding and material makes them look very large. They felt pretty good with nice arch support, but my biggest problem with these is they got black fuzz all over my off-white bedroom carpet! And unfortunately the fuzz got kind of worked into the carpet before I vacuumed it up so there are some permanent blackish-grey spots on my carpet now. Had to send them back.

These were great at first, but stretched out the first week. There is an adjustable strap, but if your foot is not real wide, it will not be enough to tighten it up. They are very rigid on the inside bottoms, not padded, and will lift your arch up to put more pressure on the outside edge of the foot. Wearing them all day will make your feet sore on the outside edges. I liked them at first but now they are too big and hurt my feet.

I bought these slippers and have only worn them about 8 times. The fabric on the foot bed is all worn off. I only wear them for a few hours, and feel that this is poor quality. The arch support is good.

These are ok. Not as comfy as I hoped. Kind of hard and the top cuts into the top of my foot. The arch support is excellent, as good as their sandals.

These slippers offer great arch support, but the footbed is hard - not comfy. Also, way too wide (even when adjusted), causing dangerous instability on the stairs. I wish Orthaheel would make a narrower slipper!

Clunky looking but fairly comfortable for a slipper because of the arch support. Unfortunately, the shoe proportions seem off. The overall length is fine but the length from the arch to the toe end is too short. A half size larger might have worked better but since there are no half sizes, I have to contend with my toes hitting the end of the shoe. The arch, however, falls in the right place.

I have another pair of vionic slippers that are very comfortable, but these are stiff, have less art support, and are just in general not comfortable

This is my 5th pair of vionic slippers. I started buying them when they were made of leather amd they were great! Since then they have gotten progressively less duranle and more ill fitting. This latest iteration with the velcro upper adjustment is not acceptable. The arch is low, the sole too flexible/thin, and the upper is thin and ill fitting compared to previous slippers. It's too bad because I thought I had found my forever slippers but I will be looking elsewhere in the future.

The toe box was very narrow for a shoe listed as a medium width. The length was OK but the toe box pinched my toes in. I haven't had this trouble with other slippers that I purchased. Slippers are usually a bit wide to be comfy and not pinchy.

These were very comfortable and supportive. However, I found that, when wearing them barefoot, I really had to curl my toes with every step to keep the slippers on. Socks helped some, because they made them fit more snugly, but the problem was still present. I want a slipper that is supportive and warm and cozy that I can just slip my feet into when barefoot. It didn't seem like a problem with size, they were just very heavy slippers, due to the support and firm footbed, which I need due to hallux rigidus. I am sad to have to return them, but I am going to try the Vionic Relax instead.

I loved the support and firm footbed, the plush and cozy material. However, these slippers required me to really grip with my toes/curl my toes to keep them on with every step, perhaps because they are a bit heavy? So they are not comfortable for me to wear around the house as I had hoped. Furthermore, if fI ever wanted to wear them with bare feet, there is no way to wash them (I don't think?) if they get stinky or dirty. Therefore, they would only be appropriate in winter with socks.
