Got these for heel problems a couple years ago, and they worked great, and helped me heal, oy what a pun! But, now I've developed a stress fracture along my bunions! Went back to these sandals and they are the only shoes I'm able to wear right now. Wonderfully comfortable and helps with avoiding the pressure points which my other shoes seem to hit, aggrevating the problem. 3 gripes: Sandals run slightly large and the tip of the sandals are a bit like clown shoes and a tad too long,(I am 8.25, so since they only come in whole sizes, I bought an 8, was afraid a 7 would be way too small, I would have bought a 7.5), so I have to be careful not to trip over the tips. Also, like another reviewer, they run wide and I find the velcro adjuster strips are way too long for me. And, the spongy colored tops around the sides of ankles tends to rub off easily, exposing the orangish under sponge color. Not a fashion sandal, but good enough to wear with shorts or capris without being in awful pain while I heal, and a little less clunky than some of the ugly "orthotic" sandals, and breezy enough for a hot climate. Wish more off the Men's sport versions were available in Women's sizes & cut.

Very comfortable sandals! I had to return 2 others that didn't have the arch support, but these work great for my feet with fallen arches. I only wish the soles of the entire shoe were thicker.

I had worn their flip-flop, but after injuring my foot I needed something with a similarly well-molded foot bed and also straps to hold it to my foot more securely. I liked these. They definitely seemed to run bigger than expected. I have a wide foot, and the medium was wide enough. I agree with others that the footbed could be more padded. I ended up returning these for Cobb Hill Halle which has an even better foot bed with wonderful memory foam padding.

I purchased these because of the arch support. In that respect, they seem great. I've just received them so haven't worn much. My biggest concern with all the Vionic sandals I tried was that they were quite large in the heel. I have a foot that is only slightly on the narrow side and I could not adjust the backs enough to make them feel my heel. This particular style has the possibility of being adjusted by a shoemaker which was the only reason I kept them.

Adjustments galore. And so light, you barely feel the shoe. Would not wear this sandal with a dress or slacks - not that stylish - but with shorts or jeans - it works. Support is excellent. And I recommend ordering a size down for any sandal so the sandal doesn't look too large. One can do this because there's nothing to cramp or rub your foot.

These sandals run a full size too small. They have great arch support yet feel "thin" under the front of my foot. The men's version ("Boyes") also runs a full size too small but feel much more substantial, and hold my foot in place better.

These sandals have great arch support but run a full size large and re-ordered one size smaller and they fit perfectly.

I bought Orthaheel flip flops a couple years ago and they were fantastic for my ultra-high arches and plantar fasciitis. These, however did not have the same arch support. They were otherwise comfortable, but I have to return them.

I have plantar fasciitis in one foot and a neuroma in the other. I needed a shoe to wear to Disney for hot weather, getting wet, and a lot of walking. This shoe was extremely comfortable. I never got any blisters. The extra cushion on the heel felt wonderful against my heel spur. My only reason for not giving these five stars is the super long straps. I am a C width. I order wide if available. I noticed some other reviewers commenting on the long straps and before ordering I thought "well perfect. since these don't come in wide width, long straps mean they'll work for me due to my slightly wide foot and very high arch." They just worked. If I had to pull them any tighter, I'd be stepping on the straps. As it is, the straps just touch the ground. Therefore, in my opinion, they look sort of doofy with 2 sets of straps sticking way out and touching the ground on both sides. They look pretty sloppy. However, they served their purpose and were very comfy for my trip. I don't think I'll be wearing them out and about though, much this summer because I think they look a bit strange with the straps all willy nilly. I love my Orthaheel Tide II flip flops and will likely just get another pair of those instead. If you have very wide or very puffy feet, you will likely not have this problem.

I love this sandal! The only thing that would make it "more perfect" for me is if the straps could be shorter. I have a narrow foot and have to pull both straps as far as they will go to keep the sandal on my foot and as a result the straps tips rub the ground. It's a great all weather sandal; dries out quickly and best of all I don't have to wear an orthotic arch support.

This shoe is too large for me in the size 8. A size 7 is the correct size. However, the arch in this sandal is also too high for my feet, so I must return them. I also agree with other reviewers who state that the inside surfaces of the shoe are rough and can be uncomfortable.

I love these sandals. They feel like a sponge when you walk on them. I can wear them all day to work and my feet and knees feel great at the end of the day. Great support with the heel strap!

The arch is indeed like the Orthaheel arches, i.e., a little bit too high for me. Also, the straps could have been better designed. However, people need shoes that are not dress shoes, that are designed for a lot of walking etc. It's a pretty good shoe, just not for me.

I've had these sandals for about a year. I got them in two colors. The manufacturing must be off slightly, since one pair definitely fits better than the other. They both allow my heel to go too far back -- sort of sliding of the back of the sandal. But one pair really does this much worse than the other. The major reason I like these is the arch support. They've really helped my injured knee and my plantar fasciitis. However, I'm really baffled as to why a company that's so focused on foot health would not offer wide and narrow widths as well as half sizes. If they did, I'm sure I'd own 20 pairs, instead of 2! But because of my wide foot, the Muir's are the only Vionics I can wear. They're not a C or D width, but they're a roomy Medium (B) width. Runs a little long. I normally wear 8 and a half and ordered 8.

These are comfortable as long as you do not get them wet. Once wet, they take a long time to dry, which can leave you with cold feet. Otherwise, they are comfortable.

Perfect sizing and these shoes really do help my heels! If they had a metatarsal bar they would be perfect!

Like the shoe overall. The fit is true to size, and the materials are durable. They're an easy on and off as well, for a shoe that is not a slip-on. The only issue I had was with the material of the footbed. It's a bit rough, and while it didn't seem to affect the ball or heel of my foot, it acted a bit like a mild pumice stone on the arch. Since I liked the shoe so much, and it was giving me the arch support I needed, instead of returning them, I rectified the situation by purchasing some narrow insole cushions that are self adhering. I got the ones that are typically made for high heel shoes, and they covered just enough of the center of the footbed, in order to stop the chafing. I don't really notice them, and they are not visible. The support concept is great, but I find that with any shoe of this type, the materials are really a lot harder and rougher than they need to be.

I bought these in tan last year. The first time I walked in them, I walked too much and my feet were really rubbed up on the bottom and felt sore. I didn't wear them again till this summer and they've been great. I wear them a lot. So I bought the black ones. The first time I wore them, the strap around the back of the foot gave me a blister on my Achilles heel. I waited a few weeks and wore them yesterday. The bottom of my toes were really worn out and I got a blister on one toe. My feet ached this morning. I don't get it. I wear the Orthaheel flip flops ("Wave") all the time and they're great. But the footbed on these is a different texture. I like these but I also hate them. Make sense? I assume that they'll eventually be good like the tan ones. But right now, they really chewed up my feet. I'm giving them more stars than I would otherwise because of my experience with the first ones. As far as looks go, I would like them better without the blue lines on them. That way they would truly be black. The blue makes them even more casual than they already are. I'd like to wear them with dressier capris or skirts but they just look like super casual walking sandals (which is what they are). Also, the straps with the velcro are a little too long and stick out a bit.

I love this sandal. Last year developed foot problems (plantar fasciitis) and this shoe helps keep pain less. Nice look for casual. Only minor complaint is the top strap could be longer, sometimes does not want to stay velcroed closed. I own two other pair Orthoheel sandals and love them also. I'm a size 8 in most shoes, but for this needed a size 7.

The sandal overall is really comfortable. However, because they don't come in widths the ankle strap was very tight. I decided to alter the strap with additional Velcro in order to have a more loose and comfortable fit around my ankle. I was a little disappointed that I had to modify a sandal that cost this much but the comfort outweighed the extra Velcro that was added.

I got these sandals because they were described as being well-suited for plantar fasciitis. Well, they are great for this! There is a soft, squishy area in the center of the heel and I have no heel pain while wearing these. My only complaint is that the strap near the toes is too short and sometimes comes undone while walking. Yes, I do have a wide foot, but an extra 1/2" in the strap length would have prevented this. I also found that the same strap causes a red spot on the outside joint of my foot that I suspect would become a blister if I wore them long enough. But I was mainly looking for a shoe to wear around the house vs. going barefoot, and this sandal is perfect for that purpose. If you are a half size, always order down with Orthaheel...because they are orthotic in nature, once your arch is supported your foot length is decreased.

Orthaheel sandals are the only sandals--and I have tried quite a few walking sandals--that have enough arch support for my high arches. They are really miracle sandals, as they solve a number of foot problems, e.g. pronation, arch support, and is comfortable with bunions due to the adjustable straps. The only problem is that the Muir Vionic is a bit wide, great for being a stable platform, but the straps were too wide to really fit my narrow heel. But a trip to the shoe repair shop to shorten the back strap fixed that and it is a perfect fit now. The Muir Vionic is not quite as supportive as the Yasmin II, so I would not wear it all day, but the comfort level is great.

I was disappointed with the comfort of this style. I was unable to use with my sore heel. The sole was not as comforting as the previous Tide style that I purchased. I will be buying another pair of Tides.

This shoe is not pretty - but I was not looking for pretty. I needed comfort and support. I got that! It does run a bit wide but the Velcro straps help.
