I wore these Orthaheel sandals all summer and am absolutely thrilled because I haven't been able to wear sandals for years due to the fact that I needed the arch support and didn't know where to find them. I also could get a smaller size because I didn't need to have an insert.

I love these sandals! I bought them in another color when I had plantar fasciitis two years ago and even though the condition is long gone, I continue to wear these sandals. They have a very well constructed foot bed which keeps my feet in a stable position. Another thing that helps promote stability is the way the straps are arranged. I will continue to wear these sandals as long as they are made.

I highly recommend these shoes. I have no arch in my feet which means I need a lot of support in my shoes. I also suffer from a spur on my left foot. These sandals are the only thing I want to wear. (This is my second pair in a different color.) I am size 9.5, and I bought size 9; they fit perfect.

I was having foot pain that only my Orthaheel Holly sandals could relieve, but I was looking for Orthaheels that I could wear on the beach and get wet. These are much cuter than they appear online! Unfortunately, I need the firm footbed of my other orthaheels for now, (these are more flexible) but look forward to wearing these next summer (maybe my feet will be better then!) The sizing was the same as other Orthaheels (order a size smaller) and fit me perfectly.

I have been searching for a comfortable walking sandle that looks nice on my size 11 feet and these are great. I love them. If I am going to be doing a lot of walking in one day, I add a simple Dr. Schools cushion and they become my dream sandles. I'm off to Europe soon and these are going with me. I usually where an 11 medium width and in these I wear a 10.

Loved this shoe. Helped my heel pain. But sweaty feet plus rubber/manmade materials makes my feet stinky. I use foot powder with these and that helps.

What I think is if you have flat feet, over pronation, heel spurs, etc....this is the shoe for you. Yep, I have all of the above and this is the most supportive Orthaheel I have. It equals the leather Walker in support. I am amazed that a sandal this light can actually carry me through hours on my feet without pain. I had to purchase a second color after seeing how wonderful this sandal is.

Great arch support and great support in general. Only wish they were a bit more feminine looking.... But comfort before fashion for me!

I love these sandals because it has better traction than a sneaker but because they are a sandal you don't feel enclosed. Nice and light feeling, I find that my workouts are easier and I can walk quicker because of the traction so I can work out longer.

I suffer from over-pronating and usually have to wear orthotics. I was excited to be able to find an attractive sandal that has a built-in orthotic. I love this sandal. It is very comfortable for hiking and all day use. I wear an 8 1/2 but sized down to an 8 and they fit perfectly. The arch support is excellent and the back strap gives added stability and support. The straps are comfortable and plenty long enough. This was my first purchase from Zappos and I couldn't believe how quickly they shipped them out to me. Thank you!

Love these shoes. The sole is a bit softer than my other 3 Orthaheels but the arch support is still fabulous for plantar fasciitis . Really like the adjustable width. Usually wear a size 8.5 or 9 and order size 8 for sandals in Orthaheel.

Awesome supportive sandal. But be aware if you have very narrow feet like myself. I had thought that with the velcro straps I would be able to cinch the straps up nice and snug. But with the straps pulled as tight as they will go, I have only the tiniest sliver of velcro available to hold them together, and this doesn't always do the job and they come undone. I will probably have to stitch additional velcro to both the straps and the shoes. Too bad they didn't just come with more velcro on the straps for us AA-feet people!

My doctor recommended these shoes so I bought them. I have learned to like them. They look good - much like Tevas. The arch support is good. They are heavy but the doctor says that that is good for me. I use them as walking shoes in the village. They are very adjustable o can be changed if you have feet that swell and/or change shape.

Wow! I have needed orthotics for 15 years. Orthotics don't work with sandals so I had to make do with hot sneakers all summer. I was thrilled to discover custom orthotic sandals through my chiropractor. $350 and not so pretty. These sandals work so well with my high arch and pronation and heel spur! And a great price! And so feminine but sturdy. I am thrilled silly to find these and have two colors but think I will order more to have them on hand!

I wear narrow 9 1/2 so I ordered the 9 and 10. 9 was too short and the 10 was too wide. When the straps were tightened, they touched the floor.

I have never had a sandal that I did not need to wear my orthotic which would slip out the back of the shoe. I do not have to wear my orthotic with the Muir sandal because it does the lift for my pronated heel. I love this sandal.

Heaven in a shoe! This shoe is so comfortable I can wear them all day long with no discomfort at all. I have PF and I need good arch support or my feet will kill me. These shoes deliver with great quality and comfort. They are rugged enough for me to take hiking or canoeing and stylish enough to wear around town with shorts. I love them and I love the Zappos price. They do run a little big, though, so order the next 1/2 size up.

I am starting my second Summer with a pair I bought last Summer, and they're wearing better than I would have expected. Cosmetically, the fake suede has rubbed off the edges of some of the straps, and that ain't so pretty. Also, you've gotta scrub the footbed periodically with disinfectant or these things start to reek. If they weren't so horribly expensive, I would have purchased a new pair for myself this year. I suspect that the cushioning in the sole has packed down and their ability to protect my feet from shocks is diminished; but they're still the most comfortable sandal option I've been able to find. I pretty much wear them year-round at home. Wonderful for bunion sufferers, as the straps completely avoid hitting that part of my foot, and the diagonal-like placement of the straps in front hides how wide my feet actually are, disfigured as they are by my bunions. I am hoping that these last through the Summer and that perhaps I can justify paying that large price again if I can expect the next pair to last for 2 Summers as well.

I wear Vionic sandals and use Vionic arch supports in my shoes. This is the first pair of Vionic sandals that actually made my feet supinate. They are called "sports recovery" sandals, so perhaps they aren't meant for every day wear. I'm disappointed because I wanted a good sandal to wear when walking in the woods.

Love the sandals. The only problem I have with them is the strap that goes over the toes is too long and hits the floor.

I bought these sandals for an upcoming trip to Greece. I needed something comfortable for walking. They are great! Very comfortable and the arch support really helps my plantar fasciitis. The bottom is very rugged and I think they will be great lots of walking and maybe I won't stick out as a tourist since I won't have to wear tennis shoes. I would prefer them to be a solid color without the color accent stripe.

This has turned out to be a God send for my poor feet and knees. I basically wear them year round (except for Winter, but I am seriously considering wearing them with socks and braving snow in them too). They suffer less from Vionic's problem with using cheap materials that do not wear well on top (even though the straps are not real leather, they at least have a suede-like look and only the edges have peeled off a bit). They are comfortable, and designed perfectly for us folks with ugly bunions. The way the strap at the front lies, it misses my bunions completely and also the diagonal angle of them sort of disguises how misshapen my feet are. I feel the urge to hoard several pairs of these sandals, because women's fashions are so fickle that you often cannot get the same thing from one year to the next; but the expense limits me to one purchase each year. Word to the wise, even if you don't normally suffer from foot odor, you will start while wearing these sandals regularly. I have taken to rubbing the foot surface down regularly with a scented alcohol to kill off the bacteria that seems to love growing there; or your foot zone will start to reek while wearing these. Despite all the problems, though; the arch support and the heel are so darn comfortable, it makes it worth the purchase. The fact that there's Velcro and the straps are reasonably well-designed makes it work for wide-footed people like me (which I have found often is not the case for their other shoe styles, even when they are supposedly for wide-sized folk).

These have turned out to be a Godsend for me, with my bunions and my plantar fasciitis and my bad knees...comfortable, eminently adjustable, great arch support, they even make my wide feet look normal!! The strap hits just right so that it, not only doesn't hit my bunions, but also disguises the disfiguring effect they have on the appearance of my feet. The design in total genius! Now, on to the bad part, which seems to be chronic with Vionic shoes: the quality of the materials is pretty shoddy. I would love to have these in real leather, with more generous lengths of velcro; but that doesn't appear to be the Vionic way. The "suede-look" material used to make the straps rubs off pretty quickly. But the straps have held up for me (and this is after a Spring and Summer of constant wear, albeit "constant wear" should be qualified, because it's not like I go hiking on the Matterhorn every weekend or anything. So take that into consideration.) Perhaps using lesser materials is what it takes to make an incredible design only slightly expensive, instead of horribly expensive. Anyway, I am tempted to get another pair of these for next summer...since I've had the disappointment of styles being impossible to find from one year to the next.

My arches are collapsing and I had to purchase all new shoes. I loved having a sandal that I can wear to the pool or on the boat, that also holds my foot in place. The straps are a little long and I went down a size from what I normally wear because I have narrow feet. I plan to purchase every color. Several of my friends have this shoe and wear it all summer.

True to size. Read sizing for questions. I wear a 6.5 and got a 6. Perfect fit. I didn't find straps to big. I have a narrow foot and found they rubbed a little on my ankle, but just loosed the strap a bit. Great sandal!
