I have 2 pairs of Vionic walker sneakers but wanted a pair of sandals for the summer. Wasn't sure if these would work because I have a narrow foot and heel. They worked great. The arch support is wonderful and I will be wearing them a lot once it warms up in the northeast! Great service, fast shipping from Zappos!

Perfect summer wear for support, recovering from plantar fasciitis. Just enough cushion, good heel cup. A little wide for me, so the straps hang a tad, but otherwise sweet out of the box.

These are by far the most comfortable sandals I ever wore. The adjustment features allow for a custom fit and the support in all areas is superb. A must for those with foot issues.

Very comfortable. Nice arch support. I generally use orthotics, and think this sandal will be a nice option for the summer. It doesn't allow for orthotics, cut has a nice arch support.

Love this shoe!! Great arch support. This is my first vionic and I am very glad I decided to try this brand. The shoe, however, is extremely wide for my narrow foot. I've pulled the straps as tight as they'll go and it looks stupid with the straps just hanging out there--will have to take these to a cobbler to trim the straps. One more thing, I marked 3 stars for style but that is not a negative because the shoe is not meant to be stylish--it is a practical shoe. Highly recommend!!

I love these shoes! About a year ago I had a stress fracture of my heel, was on crutches for 7 weeks, then progressive weight bearing. All of which led to plantar fascitis. These shoes have great heel support with a "cup" for your heel and great arch support with a light bumpy texture to keep your feet from sticking to the shoes, help them breathe, and provide somewhat of a gentle massage. I wore them all around Miami on vacation. My feet are quite narrow, and the straps on these shoes allow me to make these medium width shoes narrow enough to accommodate my feet. I usually wear a 9, but had to get these in an 8.

My orthopedist recommended this brand for angle support. I broke my toe and wore them for 5 months while I healed. I do a lot of walking and they saved me! I have 2 pairs - love the arch support and room for my toes.

Excellent adjustable sandal. Velcro straps allow for narrow foot fitting. Very comfortable. Would like it better in narrow width; however, it can work with narrow foot.

These are the most comfortable shoes I have ever put on my feet. They arrived with a damaged velcro strap which Zappos customer service immediately made right, making me a customer for life. Having said that, I gave the shoes a try outside on a cement sidewalk. Not too long into my walk the front of one of the sandals hooked on a cement block and I went flying through the air, landing on my knees and forearms. I fortunately was able to walk away from this, but would not recommend these for walking. I guess they call them "recovery" for a reason. I am afraid to wear them again.

I have fallen arches and need to wear orthotics full time. These sandals have great built in support, and I can walk all day in them!

I can't recommend these shoes highly enough. For months I could barely walk because of the pain in my left heel. The pain disappeared instantly when I began wearing these shoes. I do wish they came in a wider size. The shoes I bought are not the right width but they still make a world of difference to my aching feet.

I'm so pleased with these sandals! It's not easy for me to find shoes that support my arthritic feet. I adore Birkenstocks, but there's nothing for wet summer conditions. When I received these Muir sandals, I was dubious. They are featherweight and somewhat thin-soled. But I have worn them for a couple of months and they are fantastically supportive, sturdy and cushioned. A winner!

This is the second pair of these sandals and I find them great for my foot that is a problem.

I love these sandals. First heard of Orthoheel shoes on Dr.Andrew Weil's website. As I have always had difficulty finding comfortable shoes, thought I'd give them a try. Searched the Zappos site and found these, and am so glad I did. They are such a comfortable shoe that I have since ordered another pair. I walk every day for 1 or more hours, and they are just the best. I can wear all day long in comfort as well. great arch support, too. I highly recommend them. And I doing business with Zappos is a true pleasure. Free shipping and returns, delightful staff and great selections.

Although kind of ugly, they are very comfortable. The arch support is great. Nothing rubs. I usually get annoyed if there is something on the bottom of the shoe that I can feel on the bottom of my foot. So I was somewhat leery about buying the sandal given the photo of it with that green round thing. But I can't feel anything on the bottom of my feet. I wear an 11M shoes, and the 11M sandal fits fine. I would buy a cuter sandal if the top straps came in leather. I'm concerned that a man-made plastic type of strap might rub.

I love these shoes. Good support, not as much as my Orthaheel slippers, but better than any other sandal I've ever worn. They're cute too!

Very comfortable sandal once you get use to the arch. If you have wide ankles, this sandal is not for you. I had to add Velcro to the strap in order to fasten the sandal. I really did not want to return them because they were very comfortable. So it was worth it to me to alter the sandal.

Great arch support. I even wear these hiking. Next time I will try an 8. I am a true 8 1/2. I generally go with 9 because I get a little extra width. I have these clasped as tight as they will go and they are a bit too wide/long - not bad enough not to wear, but I can slip off them if they get wet with dew.

I am a physical therapist and have been suffering from a horrible case of plantar fasciitis. I have tried to supplement my therapeutic program with a comfortable and supportive shoe and/or insert to no avail when I decided to try the Orthaheel Vionic sandal. To my amazement, I have been able to walk with a normal stride and very little pain from the first few steps out of the box. I am very pleased with the support that the shoe offers. Most inserts or over-the-counter orthotics will support the medial arch of the foot (instep), but do not properly support the lateral arch or transverse arches of the foot. These sandals really do provide this support - a very pleasant surprise to say the least!! Worth every dime!

This shoe is a real winner. It's not a heavy thing clonking along on your feet. It's an all-day shoe. Not only is this shoe great, but buying it at Zappos.com is the only place to buy it. Their service is prompt, the customer service reps are very helpful and they even pay for the returns. I highly recommend you try this shoe and get it from Zappos.com.

These are my 'go to' casual sandals. I have difficulty finding comfortable shoes due to bunions, but these sandals are perfect in that area. Every part of the straps that touch my feet are cushioned. I also like how adjustable they are ( adjustable Velcro at the ankle and at the front of the foot). They are not tight but they feel stable--my feet don't slide around. I love the contoured footbed. I wish these were available in more colors and some dressier styles because I would wear them all the time. My only negative is that sometimes I catch the front of the sandals on steps.

I love my new Orthaheel sandals! I can wear them all day! They have helped eliminate fatigue and hip pain. I plan to eventually have nothing but Orthaheel shoes in my wardrobe.

First of all these are comfortable out of the box. I only wore them once so far and I am hopeful they will help my plantar fascitis. Anyway, I am normally an 8 1/2 but based on reviews I ordered 1/2 size down and they really do fit like a glove. They are also marked a 39 which is my size so perhaps their conversion is a little off. I like that they have Vibram bottoms since I will be walking some major steps when I go to Italy. Time will tell how they hold up!

These sandals are terrific for my fallen arches and metatarsalgia. I was afraid the thinner sole would not be comfortable, but it's fine. I wish I'd found Orthaheel years ago. I could have avoided my foot problems.

I have troublesome feet and aggressive orthotics with large metatarsal pads. Only shoes I can usually wear are hard soled lace up shoes. Desperate for some cooler summer footwear, I decided to give these a try. Fantastic. Not an all-day solution but they don't hurt my feet. Soft, wide footbed. Ingenious straps. Highly recommend them. Cute as well -- even in a 9.5.
