Although this style shoe was very supportive, unfortunately the adjustable ankle strap rubbed a blister on the top of my foot where it hit my ankle and leg. I was on an island hike, and kept loosening the strap without my foot slipping out of sandal. But my end of 2hr hike a blister appeared. I kept the sandals to wear short periods only. The other 3 pairs in different colors were returned to Zappos.

I love and only wear Vionic shoes. This peticular color sandal I sent back!! After wearing just two times the color wore off to show the tan rubber inner. The strap was pulling away from the base of the shoe... Exposing glue! I sent back and received the same sandal different color. No problem with taupe color!!

Bought another pair of Vionic sandals as well which also did not fit well in the toe area. The flap went way over the side of the sandal. There was also a staying odor when I opened the box. I have so loved Vionics in the past. Stayed with the Merrill Agave Lavish which fit perfectly.

I believed all the wonderful reviews posted before I ordered these, but they are wrong! I wore them all day at SeaWorld and by early afternoon, my feet hurt so badly, I was putting paper towel around my feet to stop the rubbing. I got a cut in one place on my foot! I love the other sandals by Vivonic and I wanted something with more support for walking, but this sure isn't the answer.

I have plantar fasciitis (caused by a back injury) & these did absolutely nothing to help with my foot/heel pain. Not enough arch support & heel cushioning. I find that the "Vionic w/Orthaheel technology" is not as good as the straight "Orthaheel" products. It's a shame, because their products are more stylish/attractive than the Orthaheel line.

Forces me to put weight on my outer arthritic midfoot.
Structure of the shoe is not helpful.

I had high hopes for this sandal. My friend with similar problems...narrow feet, high arches, high instep, etc. had great luck. But with me, it made my foot actually feel like it was slanting toward the outside edge. No way it would work, and it's a mystery to me. We've been able to wear the same shoes sometimes in the past...back it goes.

When I first got these I fell in love with them. Had I written a review then I would have given 5 stars +. But I have been wearing them quite a bit over the last month and have three main complaints. First - the lines on the bottom of the foot bed bother my feet. It's not too bad for normal walking, but after a day long of walking it caused blisters. Second - My feet actually smell bad after wearing these. I've tried washing the food bed with soap and water and that is helping somewhat. But there is something about that material that is not agreeing with my feet I guess. Third, and extremely disappointing, is the fact that the sole is coming apart from the shoe in the toe area of one foot. Really? After spending this much I have to try to glue my shoe together? Bad news!

These sandals do indeed offer arch support and cushioned heel support; I need both. The fit was terrible; the sole is too thin. The feeling of having to walk on my heel was uncomfortable. I am so disappointed that I did not get my dream sandals.

The sole was too thin and felt too thin. Not like some other Orthaheels. I was very disappointed. the look looks good on the foot, better in person but did not offer the same support as other Oethaheels because of the thin sole...very disappointed...had to return. I need the support and the arch seems less high as well
