Love how this shoe looks - very outdoorsy. Fit a little loose in the back - wish this company made half sizes, I'm a 7.5, ordered the 8 - perhaps the 7 would have been better? Great grip, does well in water. Shoe is wearing easier that it should - color rubbing off in some places (cause for lower star rating).

These run wide, also straps don't get tight enough. They would be comfortable if they fit tighter, can't do much "sport" in them because they are loose.

This is a great, comfortable shoe with one huge drawback: the velcro-covered portion of the strap is absolutely tiny. I have very high arches, and that meant that I literally could not close the strap on this shoe because the manufacturer had decided to save 10 cents in materials and not have a reasonably-sized strap. I was able to fix this defect using Velcro One Wrap, but it doesn't look great and it's a pain in the ass. For a shoe that costs over a hundred dollars, you could put on a reasonably sized strap. Doubly true if you're making a shoe and advertising it for people who need special footwear. I really wish manufacturers of shoes would consider that if you're putting an adjustable strap on, you should allow people to adjust that strap to widths of more than a few millimeters, which is really all the adjustment that the ankle strap on this sandal allows. That being said, Orthaheel makes absolutely the most comfortable shoe on the market, and their sandals are literally the only ones I can wear, so I will take what I can get.

When I first put on this sandal, I thought my foot problems were over! Seriously--I ordered 3 more pairs. But over time, they started to kill my feet. I can't figure out what the problem is, but I'm guessing that the arch is just in the wrong place for my foot. Really disappointed since I've worn Orthaheel sandals before and loved them. Bummer!

I purchased the Porto adjustable slide last year and it has been wonderful as I've recovered from extensive foot surgery this year (bone graft, fusion, etc.). I ordered the Muir Vionic to have a 2nd option during the long recovery. It is not as comfortable for me as the Porto, but realize that my situation is not "typical". I normally wear size 9N in an enclosed shoe and this size 8 was plenty long. The straps allow me to adjust it to narrow.

wide and the straps were loose on one shoe. the cut lines in the foot bed had small nubs that irritated the bottom of the foot. The sole is weak at the ball of the foot also. Not the quality I found when it was Orothoheel.

I bought these to help with plantar fasciitis, and help they have. After two months I am disappointed with the quality. The Velcro on one left ankle strap is detaching, and I am not sure even a shoe repair could fix this. Another problem is that the Velcro does not adjust enough for narrower feet. This causes straps to be loose, and sometimes come undone. Back these go - too bad, but these are way too expensive to start deconstructing after two months.

Do not order these sandals if you have fairly narrow (2A) feet. Vionic is not listening to customers with narrow feet. Vionic could simply move the positioning of the Velcro and shorten the length of the very long strap and leave everything else on the shoe as is and add them to their inventory as size narrow. The company would sell many of these to those of us with narrow feet needing arch support for plantar fasciitis. I have another pair of Vionic size 8M sandals with adjustable straps that fit my feet fine. Back to Zappos this pair goes.

This is a handsome sandals and I was looking forward to wearing something with good orthotic support. Sadly, Vionic shoes are designed for a wide foot. I have an average width foot and narrow heel - this does not fit at all.

I love Vionic shoes. I have several pair that I can't live without. This style, however, is not for me. The straps rub in all the wrong places for my feet. And there really isn't any way to make them tighter in the loose places.

The arch fit perfectly making the sandal comfortable. However, it was too wide with no ability to adjust and it is too long (half sizes would really help). Over all I felt like I was flopping around in clown shoes. Had to return.

Loved the way this looked and felt right out of the box. However after we about a month of wear the sandal is not wearing well. The material is not very durable and I already have several tears in the sandal from normal city wear. For the cost of the sandal I was expecting something to last more than one summer season but it isn't even lasting a month.

I love Vionic shoes and sandals and they are 90% of my shoe wardrobe. However, the toe hold on these was so tight and uncomfortable that I couldn't wear them. Problem #2 was the pebble textured footbed. With every step I took the pebbles scratched on my soles. It's wasn't a massaging sensation, it was foot torture. Why, Vionic? Why would you treat my poor tootsies this way?

I have a C width foot and sadly the velcro over the toes is too short to make much of an adjustment. I would have kept these if the velcro would have allowed me to make it a bit wider.

I don't know who can wear these shoes! I have a wide-ish foot in general but I also have permanent swelling in my left foot/ankle from an ankle injury. I read the reviews that said the straps couldn't tighten and they were far too large. I didn't that it would be an issue for me at all. The shoes came and I tried them on and I was flabbergasted. I couldn't get the straps tight enough to wear the shoe. Unbelievable. I think you'd have to have really wide feet to wear these shoes successfully. When I went back and read the reviews that were so glowing, they were all from 2012 and not so many recent reviews. These are going back, sadly.

I was excited to get these shoes after having incredible success with the comfort & durability of my Orthaheel flip flops - just wanted a casual shoe with a bit more structure. These shoes are cute & comfortable, and give my high arches the support they need. However, the durability of this shoe is disappointing. The velcro on the straps by the toes is not super-strong, and once when I was walking it popped open. The straps rub against some of the other portions of the shoe, and already (I've only had them for a month) some of the material on the edges is fraying & looking worn. I love the footbed, but the quality of the rest of the materials in the shoe seem less than I would have expected. After only a month of wear I'm going to be returning them this week.

This shoe had too much of an arch for me. But, additionally, the finish has started to peel in two places after only a few wears. They were cheaply made.

Was disappointed in these. Was hoping to replace my Teva sandals with these for better arch support. The arch support is better but couldn't get the sandal to fit correctly even with adjusting the straps. The toe area seemed too long even though the rest of the shoe lengthwise was ok. I don't think a 1/2 size smaller would have helped. Very flimsy too - not heavy on the bottom with a good tread like the Teva's. Unfortunately these are going back.

The 8 is too small, the 9 is too long, would be nice to have half sizes in this one. I like the look but the strap over the bridge doesn't reach on the 8 and the 9 in about 1.5 inches longer than my foot. Maybe I just have weird feet.

When I first put these on, I thought I had found the shoe of my dreams and ordered two more pairs. However, even though I tried to gently break them in, I found myself having terrible pain in my feet, knees, hips, and lower back. I tried to make them work for weeks, and even took them back out to try again after a few months had passed. I wanted these to work so bad! Heartbroken because a few years back I had a pair of Orthaheels that I wore until they fell apart...something has clearly changed in the design...or possibly in my foot. The arch seems much higher to me now. I hoped it was just this style and ordered a couple pair with different-looking foot beds, but the problem is the same. Wish they would offer a variety of arch options because otherwise the construction of this shoe felt perfect for me.

These might have worked except for the inner sole. It is not smooth and also has weird ridges that do not feel good on sensitive feet. Didn't see the point of using some Dr Scholl's inside an expensive pair of sandals or having to wear socks, so I am returning them. They were a nice color.

I have narrow feet and I thought that I would be able to adjust these to fit, but I wasn't able to adjust them enough to get it to my size. Also, I wear a size 11 in most other shoes, but these were too long as well. I am going to try to order the size 10 and see if it is a little narrower and shorter, maybe it will fit. I have had 2 pair of orthoheel thongs and I enjoyed them, although they are really too wide as well. I really like the arch support, which is similar to the support that I get from my custom orthotics in my walking shoes.

These run small and the Velcro fasteners are not long enough to keep sandals on my feet.

My feet sweat so bad in them and slide around in them and i cannot wear them. I have been wearing vionics for years, but the quality in the materials are not there like they use to be. So dissapointed in vionic, not zappos.
