These shoes are just the right height, the right type and placement of strap, and right support. I normally use an orthotic but with this shoe I do not have to. Now that is saying something! I am about to order another color.

These are the most comfortable non-athletic shoes I own. I have a high arch and require arch support. That along with a narrow heel makes finding comfortable shoes a challenge. I haven't tried ham with my orthotics but it really isn't necessary as the Algeria orthotic is almost as supportive. I wear them to work but only when I don't need full business dress. I have a pair of Mephistos that I save for dressier business occasions. The Mephistos were more expensive but are not as comfortable. Pros: Comfortable. Lots of room in the toe box. Very supportive orthotic. Rocker sole. Very pretty prints. Cons: May not be dressy enough for all work functions. Heel could narrower (just being picky). Boxy profile. I don't mind the cons as I've never been able to wear spike heels with pointy toes. The pros far out weigh the cons and I highly recommend these shoes. I'm going to order more in different colors!

I purchased this style in 37 Wide, Black Napa, even though I have a narrow heel. I bought the wide size in order to get the roomiest toe box for my hallux rigidus feet. I had to remove the insoles to accommodate my new custom full-length orthotics, so I can't speak to the day-long comfort of the shoes, but before I removed the insoles they felt very comfortable. I also tried a loafer style Allegria shoe in a 37 Wide size, but couldn't keep them on my feet because of my narrow heels. The straps of the Dayna solve that problem. The openness of the Mary Jane style also makes it easier to insert and remove the very stiff orthotics, which was very difficult with the loafer style. I was able to wear the Dayna without socks this summer but am much happier wearing them with socks. I would usually not buy a style like this, but my foot issues mean I have to buy shoes that will take the orthotics, have stiff rocker soles and plenty of room in the toe box for a bunion and two tender bone spurs on both big toe joints. These shoes look ok with slacks and jeans, but I personally wouldn't wear them with a dress or skirt, although someone taller could probably pull it off just fine. When they squeak, I squirt baby powder between the orthotics and footbed and they stay quiet for a couple of weeks. I wish this style came in more colors in the wide size, because I have a feeling the Dayna is going to turn out to be the only shoe I find that I can wear all day with comfort.

I was surprised at the metallic sheen to the Desert Essence color I chose. Can't decide if I love it or hate it. The shoe itself seems very comfortable other than the rocker sole which I don't believe will work for the problems I have (arthritis in the MPJ behind the big toe). I think it's going to put stress on that joint even though the sole itself doesn't bend there -- the weight shifts forward to the toe. The shoe does run really big. It's surprisingly cute in a funky way for an orthopedic friendly shoe. I think I would like it if it wasn't for my joint problem and the sizing.

I have such difficulty finding a shoe to help me get through the day of constant walking. The Dayna by Alegria is working well for me. Having the option for a wide width is ideal for my flat feet. Will purchase other colors. Thanks Zappos for being so patient with me!

These are fantastic shoes with great support. I have plantar fasciitis and these shoes help. I wear size 7½ and got these in 37 and they fit perfectly. I do have another pair of Alegria Dayna Professionals in a different color and had to send them back for a 38 as they were too tight in the toe.

I really like this shoe! Started having trouble with my right foot and these shoes have helped tremendously. I do hair for a living so needless to say I'm on my feet all day. I now have 3 pairs, Different styles all are good the foot bed is incredible!

This is my second pair of Alegrias. I wanted a pair for spring summer to wear with capris and skirts at work. I'm on my feet all day and tennis shoes just don't cut it. I got the desert essence and they look great. They felt great the first time I put them on however after wearing them a little bit they started to rub just under my ankle I put on Band-Aids and it works great thinking the leather will soften up after wearing a little while. I'd buy them again despite the rub. Looking at the Carina's for my summer sandals. I'm hooked because I have happy feet.

So happy to see these back in stock in my size - and I was able to get the last pair! I wish the Pesca was available in black (I'm required to wear black for my job - and my heels and toes must be covered). Also, not all the styles are available in the wide widths. Thank you for making this brand available as it is one of the few my feet can tolerate all day long.

I wear Alegria brand shoes every 12 hour shift I work as an RN in L&D. They are the most comfortable shoes I have ever worn. My legs and feet do not hurt at the end of the day. I get many compliments on how cute they are. It is a rare thing for a shoe to be cute and comfortable.

I have worn this brand for two years now. They are perfect on my feet right out of the box. I am a doctor and these shoes have saved my feet! I also like the stylish pattern and color.

Everyone knows Alegria shoes are very comfortable but these are beautiful also. Everywhere I go I get compliments on them. You think they have certain colors in the flowers and then turn another way and it's even more colors only different. Love them!

Not only are these the absolute cutest shoes, they are amazingly comfortable and so durable. I've never gotten so many compliments on a pair of shoes, from men and women alike. Great arch support. Another win for Zappos!

I haven't used them yet because the strap is too short. So I'm hoping to lose a little bit of weight so the strap can close, all my friends who have bought them say it is the most comfortable shoe they have ever know.

I'm sending it back because I liked the Paloma style better but the quality is very good and the black leather is beautiful. The insole is removable but very thick so I found that I needed a thin insole under my orthotic to fill the space. The toe box is comfortably roomy although I think the size selection is mis-marked. A European 39 is usually an 8 - 8.5 but the size selection for this shoe says it's a 9-9.5. I purchased the shoe based on the size translation and found it too small in the length.

I'm very happy with this shoe. Excellent arch support is a must for me and this shoe delivers it. My feet are wide up front with a narrow heel and a small instep. These shoes meet all my fit and comfort needs. They aren't sexy-looking, but when my feet are comfortable I am free to have a radiant smile on my face! Alegria is quickly becoming my go-to brand for shoes.

I love Algeria shoes! These look great with pants or dresses. They even look cute with leggings. And most importantly, my feet never hurt after a long day! I have wide feet and these were snug at first, but the quality material now feels perfect after a few wears.

These shoes are fabulous! They are stylish...first day I wore them no fewer than 5 people complimented me on them and asked where I got them. They are comfortable...soft cushioning cork under the insole. They are true to size. Going to order another pair in another color.

I love these shoes! I have trouble finding shoes with enough arch support for my very flat feet, but these are great. Large toe box, very comfy. I'm buying another pair in black.

I love these shoes! I wear between a 9.5 and 10 and have to be careful because, while I've never worn a "Wide" size before, some shoes are too narrow for my feet. Well, I ordered a 40 Wide based on the reviews and they're a perfect fit. I love them so much! If you are a fan of Dansko clogs, these are right up your alley for comfort, but they're definitely a sassier looking shoe.

Loved these shoes but my size is in between on this one. 39 was too short and 40 to big. They were a success anyway cause they fit my friend perfectly. She absolutely loves them and stands on her feet all day with no complaints.

Love this shoe. Colors are much brighter than pictured and I was pleased about this. I am a true size 10 and this was too small. I am exchanging for a size up and hoping it fits well! I have had 2 foot surgeries and have bought MANY shoes. This is my all time favorite nursing shoe!

These were comfortable right out of the box with bare feet. I have wide feet with a bunion on only one foot, so shoes are often tight on one foot and loose on the other, but these are perfect. They're not the most stylish and I can't wear them at my Wall Street job but I will be wearing them to and from work, on weekends and vacations.

These shoes are fantastic, but you have to rethink how a shoe should fit. They fit big on purpose. Your heel should not hit the back of the shoe. After you where them a day or so the footbed conforms to your foot. It supports your foot well, and any slippage is reduced. They are great for walking all day and are cute! I take a 9 or 9 1/2 shoe. But I had to get 40 to fit right.
