Very comfortable shoe. I ordered a size larger than I normally wear because my size was out, and I had to return them because they were too big-my foot slipped out when I walked. Standing still, they were great. I have the Paloma in 2 different colors and love them. Thank you Zappos for great service.

Super comfortable, and a wonderful alternative to the Dansko clogs, which I repeatedly twisted my ankle. Very stable, rocker sole. Adjustable strap accommodates my narrow instep, and the toe box is nice and wide, so there's no pinching. As someone else mentioned, on one of the shoes I get a little rubbing or pressing from the metal closure, but it's nothing I can't ignore.

Outstanding comfort and support. I am a pharmacist long hours standing first shoe in many years that were comfortable from the first day and look decent.

I really like these shoes. I bought them because I've been having sharp pain on the ball of my foot. My insurance doesn't cover orthopedic insoles so I thought, Hmmm, out of pocket for medical insoles or cute, new shoes!" Obviously I opted for the shoes and good decision. It looks like the brand started out specializing in work shoes for people on their feet all day and appearance is a luxury, but I'm an office gal and have worn them with skirts, jeans, and black trousers. They are uber comfortable, well constructed, and I've gotten several compliments on the style. Call about the size, they were a full size smaller than other European brands. Highly recommend!

After splitting the seams of countless pairs of shoes, thanks to my wide toes, I finally found a pair of shoes I'm certain will actually wear out. I am on my feet all day, running after kids in a school, and my feet feel great...just enough cushioning and support. The rocker front means I'm not scuffing the toe, as I usually do. I'm saving up for another pair!

Adorable shoe and comfortable except for patent leather cutting into the foot when walking. This needs to be softer and it is very stiff.

Alegria shoes do not come in narrow. The color was spectacular but the placement of the strap allowed to much slippage.

These shoes are very wide! Not only around your foot but also the outer portion of the shoe extends much further than it needs to on the sides and front. I had to send these back since I was tripping over myself with all the extra shoe.

I was amazed at how painful these Alegria shoes were because I have another pair, which are a different style which are comfortable. But the Dayna's have a very shallow foot bed and my toes were cramped which caused blisters. I definitely cannot recommend.

My all time favorite shoe and style from Alegria, but out of stock! Hope they do more with this style - it is the only one that is a bit more petite and classic dressy in styling and yet is so comfortable. They could sell a whole lot more of this shoe.

This has become my everyday everywhere shoe. I LOVE it! Cute, unique, stylish, funky, fun and SUPER COMFY. It's been a few years since I got this shoe and it is still going strong (nice tough design). I would love to order another pair in the Spiro Blue, but it does not seem to available anymore. PLEASE PLEASE bring that style back. These shoes fit and feel amazing, look great w/ so many outfits, and are a true value given how long they last. My fave shoe!

These are great shoes. I have been wearing them for three days and have just signed onto get another pair. My feet are wide and messed up bunions, pain. These are amazing. I was afraid that they would look like orthepedic shoes, which had been recommended, or look like work shoes, but that is not the case - they are kind of cute.

Since I was having pain in my right foot due to a Morton's neuroma my podiatrist pointed out how the shoes I was wearing was causing the pain. She recommended Alegria shoes. What a difference they have made. They provide the necessary arch support for my aging foot...and they are attractive. Can be worn with jeans or with a suit or dress. But the best part is the relief from foot pain.

The Alegria Danya Professional is over my expectation. I was worried about the shape of the front bottom may cause problems when walking. Not at all. Very comfortable and secure shoe with cushioned bottom. This pair is for my mother and I am thinking of getting another pair for myself as it is very difficult to find cushioned summer shoes with slip resistant outsole.

This is my second pair of these shoes. They are so comfortable and I like the quirky look of them. They have wide toe area which is ideal for me because I have bunions. They kind of rock when you walk. I'm sure I'll be buying another pair once I wear these ones out.

I never owned a pair of Alegria's, but these shoes are unbelievably comfortable. I wore them this weekend and walked about 3-4 miles sight seeing. Any other shoe, even a tennis shoe, would have me sitting down after a few blocks. LOVE THESE SHOES.

I ordered these in the Stone color, and it's pretty much exactly the color the picture shows. I wear between a 5.5 and 6.5 shoe (I usually buy a 6), and the European 35 fits great. The foot bed of this shoe is incredibly comfortable. My work desk adjusts to allow me to sit or stand, and I work a 12 hour shift. I've been standing an average of 8 hours at my desk, and these shoes make it possible and I find myself standing longer than planned most days. I own a couple pair of Danskos that I thought were the most comfortable shoes in the world, and I truly think these are more comfortable (I still love my Danskos though!) I definitely recommend Alegria. My only issue with these shoes is that I have a very high instep, so the strap was very tight for a week or two, but the leather has now relaxed and it isn't really a problem now. I also found it to put a bit of pressure on the outer side of my big toe joint, but that has improved with wear as well. The non-skid sole is very stable and grippy; I just don't love the way the sole looks from the side. That being said, it truly isn't noticeable when you're wearing them because the black makes it kind of disappear.

I have a pair of Palomas that I totally love. I purchased them last year and thought it would be nice to have another pair and the Dayna Professional looked like a good choice. I love the design -- the strap is lovely and the padding at the heel at the top of the shoe is a nice touch. Unfortunately, the manufacture process must have changed since fall of 2011 when I bought the Palomas. The foot bed in the Dayna had the arch much more forward and so it pushed my whole foot toward the toe and didn't give the great arch support I got from Palomas. The fellow at Zappos was so totally nice -- sent me another pair of Palomas to try but the foot bed on this new 2012 model was just like the Dayna -- pushed my whole foot toward the front of the shoe. I love that the Alegria shoes have no seams around the front of the foot -- totally smooth and nothing to hurt a toe or bunion. Folks at work thought they looked fun, classy and comfortable. I think so too. I have a high arch and usually wear orthotics but don't need them with my Palomas. Good luck with the fit. I hope your arch matches the new footbed. I think it all depends on how your foot is shaped.

I love, love, love these shoes! Such a great fit and wonderful arch support, plus they're really cute. I got several compliments when I wore them the other day. Re: other reviews and sizing. I initially ordered a size smaller because of other reviews, but I found they run true to size. Had to return the shoes and reorder. Full disclosure, it could be because I'm a big girl (5'7 and 250), but I wanted to put that out there to clarify the sizing.

I am a nurse and I'm on my feet over twelve hours a day. I tried running shoes, danskos and Sas shoes. I was going to see a podiatrist because my knees and hips started hurting and I'm only 28! After breaking these in (took about seven days), my feet feet great and I have no more hip or knee pain! Seriously. I like the Daynas because they are leather so theyre easy to clean and I wear funky socks to work so they show. These run big. I'm a size 8 and usually wear size 39 but I wear 38 in Dayna. I tried on the Palomas in a store and they fit differently. I recommend these shoes to all my nurse friends especially with foot problems.

I love these shoes; they are very comfortable. However, when I ordered them in Ash they have more room. The black ones are a little snugger. That was a little disappointing, but they are leather and leather stretches. I don't have to worry about tripping over my feet due to Rheumatoid. Love them!

I like the strap design of this shoe and but the shoe itself is a little bland looking. I think a color difference may do the trick but sizing was an issue. The left shoe was significantly larger than the right. So much so that my heel was noticeably slipping so I'm sending them back. I don't know if this was a fluke but I'm hesitant to get another pair. I'd opt for a pattern design to add a little flair. I didn't wear them long enough to give better feedback on the comfort and support of the shoe.
