I'm a retail pharmacist, and I work 12 hour shifts on my feet the whole time. These shoes are the only ones I have purchased that don't make me re-think my career choices. The "ocean" color is really more like a dark, bluish-grey that the picture makes them look. They aren't the most stylish shoes in my closet, my husband calls them "elf shoes" because the toe curls up slightly, but after hour 4 or 5 of my shift, I don't care that I'm not wearing pretty shoes anymore. I have cuter Dansko's also, but the Alegria's are my go-to shoes when I am working a long or particularly difficult shift. I will definitely be getting more of these, or the 'paloma' style in the future instead of replacing my Danskos when they wear out.

I get tons of compliments on these shoes. For work, they are very cute but I wouldn't wear them outside of work. They are very soft inside and nicely supportive. The rocker bottom feels good when you're walking. I tend not to wear them for several shifts in a row. Instead I trade between these and my Danskos. Sometimes with the Alegria, I get heel pain by the end of the day as I am a terrible heel striker! However, I would definitely try other styles of Alegria for use outside work (the newer styles without the chunky bottom) as well as future purchases for professional use. These are great for changing things up a little!

These shoes are adorable, am an artist and like the eclectic print pattern on these shoes. I was tired of plain shoes and wanted something different. I get a lot of compliments on these shoes! The only problem I have is that after only a month they are beginning to squeak a bit when I walk - which really bothers me after I spent a lot on them.

I'm hoping these will be good for my aching feet. But first, I have to have them stretched in width, which is not unusual for me even if I get wides or double wides.

I am very picky about the shoes I wear, I am in it for comfort. My shoe wardrobe consists mostly of Keen shoes & sandals, as well as Birkenstock shoes & sandals. I am now adding Alegria to my repertoire, they are super comfy! I purchased the Dayna in black "minted". Love the details in this pattern! They can be dressed up or dressed down, look great with leggings & jeans. They fit true to size, but i would need to size up if i wanted to wear a heavier sock with these. A thinner sock will work just fine. Easy to put on & take off. Really love these shoes, I already want another pair! As promised, arrived the next day! Thank you, Zappos!

I really love my Alegria Dayna shoes! They are VERY comfortable and I struggle from Plantar Fasciitis. One downside to be aware of -- I followed the Alegria size chart which said to order a size 37 for my 7.5 sized feet. I was hesitant as I always order a size 38 in Danskos and any other European-sized shoes. When they came, they were too small in length & too tight in width. I've returned them and am now very happy in the size 38. From now on, I will ignore the Alegria size chart and order my Dansko sizing.

I love these shoes! I am a cosmetologist and spend hours on hours on my feet and these keep me comfortable all day. This is my second pair, my first lasted almost 3 years with replacement insoles. They do feel snug at first but break in perfectly and mold to your feet.

I have a very high arches and overpronation. These shoes provide amazing support and they look really cute. :D

I normally wear a 7.5 N or 7.5 Medium. I ordered this in a 38 and thought it was a little big thru the ball of the foot so sent for a 37. That was too small as my toes could feel the stitching at the front of the shoe. The 38 felt pretty good, though my heel slipped a bit as I walked and I felt the ball was too wide for my foot....my foot looked cloddy and felt gigantic so I returned both pair. I wear lots of Alegria sandals (size 37) and love them but I get styles with velcro to adjust the width to my narrow foot.

Perfect for 12 hour shifts on your feet. Nice arch, offered in wide, durable. Just what I needed.

I searched reviews for shoes with great support and Alegria kept showing up. The reviews aren't wrong. These shoes are so comfortable and it's a nice change to have great support in a shoe. Plus they're cute!

This must be the most comfortable walking shoe I've ever had. The angled strap is very comfortable, arch support excellent and the rocker motion eases walking. I got a 41 as I usually need a size larger in an Alegria closed heel shoe. I have a Paloma that I like but there isn't a padded collar on the heel and the leather is stiff - so after awhile it chafes.

Just as comfy as Paloma and a little more stylish with the designed strap. The black napa is very basic but elegant and expensive looking

OK, I have a lot to say about Alegria! Currently I work in retail and have a partially torn Achilles tendon, edema, bone spurs, and tendinitis from an injury in one of my ankles. I wear a 42W and have a high arch, high instep, and soft flexible feet that supinate according to my Podiatrist. After trying a multitude of other comfort brands including Danskos, I have found Alegria to be the only shoe I can wear without pain, including tennis shoes! Alegria has been sort of medicinal for me. I used to work in an office and could barely walk 3k steps a day but since Alegria I can walk 9k steps a day with out pain. And, my tendon hasn't become re-injured since I began wearing them 8 months ago. They really do align my gait and provide support that has allowed my tendon to stay as healthy as possible to avoid surgery. They help me to keep moving which keeps the swelling down and helps my body heal. I have the Dayna professional, Verona, and the Paloma. The Dayna has a diagonal adjustable strap that I like. They did squeak a little bit at first but then stopped (it's really not that noticeable). I tolerated it because the comfort is unmatched for me. My Verona sandals are my favorite especially with dress pants and dresses. I also try to keep to the traditional rocker sole rather than a rounded sole because of my supination problem and because they come in wide. Cons: I would like to see more wide options in other styles like flats and boots, especially options or adjustments for those who have a high instep. I have fallen in love with Alegria and become sort of an advocate recommending them to my clients and co-workers. This is the only brand that I can Work 9 hours on a marble floor and have no pain! Give a pair a try, they're so very worth it!

WIDE, FLAT FEET BE DAMNED!!! These shoes are like marshmallows! A little stiff upon first hour of wear but after that they became my new favorite brand!

I love the Mary Jane look and am always looking for a nice, comfortable shoe to wear when I am dressing up a bit. I like to have room for my toes to move around and find that a lot of shoes have a narrow toe box. I tried these in a 37 and 38. The 37 fit perfectly! I wore them to a party with the thought that I wouldn't be walking around too much if they started to hurt my toes. They were GREAT!! I love these shoes! I will definitely be getting them in other colors too. They are super comfortable and I could wear them all day, like a sneaker. GREAT SHOE!!!

These are great shoes! I have bunions,mid foot arthritis, and wide feet (but narrow heels) and I am finding these to be wonderful. I plan to take them to France on a 10 day trip next week, so that will be with real test! But so far I am loving them. The arch support is great, a wide width is excellent for my toes; my heel wiggles around a little but when I wear socks (I ordered them in a heat wave and tried them barefoot)the heels are fine. The leather near my bunions needs to be stretched a little, but that is happening as I wear them. Excellent shoes!

I like this shoe. It has a funky vibe to it. I needed something that I could use to walk a lot and be on my feet a lot for work. I have very wide feet. I have the start of bunions and no cartilage in my big toe joints. I bought a wide size. I put these on. They fit, but immediately burned my budding bunions. They hit in just the wrong spot. I really wish these would have worked. If they fit you they would probably be great. Unfortunately they are going back.

I have been a nurse for a short period of time & have been looking for the perfect work shoe. The Dayna is absolutely that shoe! It is comfortable, roomy, & lasts the whole shift. I would highly recommend this awesome shoe!

Best shoes ver! Been wearing Alegria Belle in 38W, and love. Stiff sole is what I need. The Belle is quite stiff, but has some flex. Ordered the Dayna 38W, and almost fit perfect with no flex. Great for Hallux Ridgidus toes. Ordering up a size for a bit more room. The Dayna is all I wear now. For yard, for town about, and for Sunday. I was so hesitant ordering this shoe. Could have saved so much money from trying so many other brands, but when trying to help major foot problems,you have to try many to find the right one. Many thanks to Alegria and Zappos for making my feet happy and life enjoyable.

I love the shoe. Unfortunately, I can not find the right European size for me. I have to send them back. Zappos is great to do business with.

I've been a dedicated Dansko and Sanita wearer for 15 years. A coworker in the ER recommended these, and I can't go back! They are light weight, comfortable and have excellent arch support. They are slip resistant and awesome for 12 hours of nursing.

As a server I am on my feet for over 8 hours and these shoes are very comfortable. Only took one day of breaking in (strap over foot needed stretching out). Also I have a wide foot but ordered regular width (due to back order) and they fit perfectly. I do have a little wiggle room in the heel when I walk but doesn't bother me.

I love Alegria. Foot bed is wide enough. Professional look. Snazzy prints. Comfortable work shoe. I'm on my feet sometimes 14 hours per day in operating room.
