These shoes are great. Lots of compliments and great for comfort and safety on slick surfaces. They do squeak a little when you walk but it doesn't seem too bad while working. If you work in a quiet place, it might make a difference.

Very cute, they are my husband's favorite! Wish I had bought wide but I am going to try and stretch them. I have the black Dottie in wide and they feel better.

Love these! Very cute, I bought the wide and they are a little big but feel better than the regular width. I can wear them 10 hours and my feet feel great!

Love the look of the shoe and the initial feel, then the toe box seemed too short and the arch did not fit me right after I walked in them. Wish they would have worked out, I really wanted a pair.

I just had Plantar Fasciitis surgery. These shoes are amazing. I can't believe I didn't know about these shoes after dealing with PF for over 3 years. I'm a chef and stand in one place a lot then fast walk while in the kitchen. These are perfect shoes for that, while tennis shoes leave my feet aching. Stain and slip resistant for real! I have a bone spur on the top of my foot as well but the strap doesn't bother it all. I do wish they were a bit more breathable but wearing a wicking-type sock helps. I bought the red metallic fun and love them. I'm buying the special serpent pair and a black pair as well.

I need the support and these shoes fill the bill. I like the look, and they feel great.

A soft and well sized shoe. Also, I have a dropped left foot, and the raised front of the shoe prevents me from tripping. I have bought several other Alegria shoes similar to this one. Above all, it is a comfortable and very good looking shoe.

Very happy with the Alegria Dayna Professional. I had major foot/ankle surgery Dec'12 and have a tough time finding shoes that I can wear for more than a couple of hours without a great deal of pain. I'm the Photo Facilities Night/Weekend Mgr at a major Art school and spend 5-7 hours on my feet in/out of darkrooms (chemicals). The Dayna is proving to be a fantastic investment. My feet are much happier and less tired and sore when I get home plus I don't have to worry about slipping on wet floors or spilled chemicals. Only problem is the Velcro closure will sometimes simply let go and I end up stepping right out of the shoe.

Ordered these since I'm a hairstylist & on my feet all day. Heard from others that these were pretty comfortable, so I decided to order a pair. The size was perfect (I'm usually a 7 1/2) & I ordered them wide since my feet tend to swell by the end of the day. They are very lightweight, which I wasn't expecting; the sole makes them look heavy, but they aren't. Overall, I'm very pleased with them, the fit, the style, the comfort. Already considering ordering another style. Highly recommend for those that are on their feet all day!

Best work shoe EVER! If you are on your feet all day, REALLY consider these shoes. Alegria's are EVEN BETTER than Danskins!

These shoes are awesome for use in the clinic all day as well as in surgery. I am a vet student and I needed a shoe that was durable and comfortable. These are great, even with my narrow feet.

I love this shoe! Super cute for a "comfort style" The color is great. But I couldn't adjust the strap to be tight enough to make the shoe fit right. The velcro piece of the strap is too small. And the edge of the toe box hit my bunion in a bad place. Wish it weren't true, but I'm sending them back.

Best work shoes EVER! If you are on your feet for long periods of time, do your self a favor and BUY these! I liked these so much, I bought some Debras as well. But, I have found that I like these Daynas even better, though the brand is great!

I have been dealing with feet troubles for the last year. I am a self-diagnosed sufferer of plantar fasciitis, and I have the hardest time finding shoes that either don't support my feet or don't leave me hurting by the end of the day. I am a teacher, so I am on my feet on concrete floors for the majority of the day, but I love these shoes. They were a bit tight at first but have stretched. Despite my disliking the butterfly on the side (personal taste), I say give these shoes a try!

I had foot surgery and was looking for a comfortable shoe that had a rocker type toe that would propel me forward so I wouldn't limp. This shoe more than fit the bill. It is super comfortable and an added benefit it is adorable. I was afraid I'd have to wear "old lady" shoes! People actually ask me where I found such cute shoes. Zappos is great. The shoes arrived almost before I ordered them and free returns are wonderful when you aren't sure what size will fit.

These shoes are fantastic and, so far, seem well worth the price. I'm 6', 200lbs and wear exactly a size 10.5 US so it's always a joy to find shoes that are both comfortable and stylish. I'm a social worker at a prison and these are perfect for wearing with slacks or skirts and they work well with socks, tights, stockings, and leggings. I do have to tighten the strap a little when wearing trouser socks because they make my feet slippery but I'm sure that's normal.

This is a very cute, dressy shoe but unfortunately am returning as it is too wide for my narrow heel, A little bit longer velcro would have allowed shoe to be tightened to fit.

I have ordered from Zappos for years, but this is my first review. I love these shoes. I am a teacher. I suffer from chronic foot discomfort from standing all day. I refuse to be forced to wear running shoes to be comfortable. These shoes offer the support and comfort of a running shoe with a little more style.

I decided to try these as an alternative to my usual Dansko clogs at the recommendation of a friend. I am so glad I did! These are much more lightweight and softer. I have gotten lots of compliments on the look as well. Great shoe for wearing to work while on my feet all day.

This review is more about Zappos than the shoe. I have a very hard time getting shoes that my 72 year old feet will allow me to even put on, let alone wear. My mind says "go girl, those are cute!" While my feet say "are you serious?" I had called for a return authorization for shoes that didn't work out. I was chatting with the girl who was taking care of my return and she asked if I had ever tried Alegria shoes. I told her no but, since she suggested it, I would check them out. Zappos had a very limited few in my size, none in a color that I wanted. However, I checked Alegria's site and found a bonanza of colors and patterns! They are cute! They are also very comfortable. I admit I had to wear them a bit to achieve optimal comfort, but they are great now. If you are young or young of heart, you will love these shoes. I want to thank the person who suggested them to me. One more testament to Zappos' fantastic customer service! I will continue to check Zappos for Alegria's I like.

I love these shoes they were an excellent buy. I bought them because I was starting to get bunions and wanted black shoes within my workplace's standards that had wide toe areas. These were perfect. They are very very comfortable and easy to slip on and off. They are a little big, so the next pair I buy I will buy a half size smaller.

Love these shoes! Wanted a "purple" shoe...these fit the bill. Perfect color, fits good and feels good.
