These Frye boots are of the quality that you would expect. I purchased these for my wife who has many boots. They are a high boot and snug to the calf. They look great with jeans & other pants. They seem to be holding up well. Was a good choice.

I really love these boots. The leather is very soft, and I they were comfortable to walk in all day right out of the box. No breaking in required. They are easy to put on, but I noticed they were difficult to pull off at first. However, after wearing them a few times, it's become a lot easier. I am a tall woman, but the boots come up high enough on my calf. Also the calf circumference was perfect for me. I can wear skinny jeans inside the boots without a problem. Overall I really like these comfortable boots. I got the chocolate soft vintage leather, and I love the color. It's not too dark, and goes well with a wide variety of outfits.

An absolutely gorgeous boot....The quality is unsurpassed, and it looks great with just about anything in your wardrobe other than a "little black dress".

Excellent quality, and a great boot for casual dresses or jeans/leggings. i'd suggest ordering these a half-size up, as the shaft is pretty narrow at the ankle.

I loved these boots from the first time I put them on. I am a hair stylist and stand on my feet at least 8 hours a day, my feet didn't hurt a bit! I want another pair in another color!

Beautiful boot! These boots are the perfect cognac color to go with every outfit and the heal is nice to make your legs appear slender. They are comfy right out of the box! My only complaint is the boot is tight around my calves. I will need to secure my jeans by tucking into my socks but I'm sure the leather will stretch some. Buy them!

Great boots! I thought I could fit in a 7.5 but I'm returning them and getting an 8 in a different color. I have boots already that are a similar color. Also purchasing them in black because of the awesome sale! Thanks Zappos!

Beautiful boot, size was right and fit great, but not the style I was looking for. Did bunch at the ankles.

I bought these 5 years ago and still get compliments when I wear them. They've held up perfectly over the years and will occasionally take them to a cobbler to be conditioned and shined. I normally wear an 8 or 8.5 and went with an 8 in this shoe.

Cute, cute, cute! I love that they have a slightly western look without being cowboy boots. I think the lines are very becoming. The heel is high enough to add some inches, but should be comfortable enough to wear all day.

I have owned two pairs of these wonderful boots for the last five years; one black, one brown. They have held up so well I thought I'd write a review from that perspective. They were comfortable from day one with just the right heel for walking all over town. And walk all over town I have! I love that they are easy to pull on and off without the benefit of a zipper. They run true to size. They have endured rain, snow and mud and have cleaned up beautifully, showing little sign of all the wear I have given them.I love to wear them with skinny jeans and leggings and a slightly "western" look just adds to their interest. I am tall with long slender legs and these do not overwhelm. If the price is making you balk just consider that if you love them they'll be your friend for life!

Beautiful boots, I got the ice gray color ! They're stunning, very comfortable & so soft, perfect height & perfect width. However I ordered them in size 10 & 11, because despite the reviews saying that they run larger, they did not for me. So I'm keeping size 11, they just fit perfectly fine for me, I'm usually size 10 but with Frye's my size can vary from 10 to 11.

These boots were stunning from the start! They felt like they were made for me from the minute I put them on. Comfortable, just the right heel height for me - a lift, without begin precarious. And, they are a delicious coffee brown! They have become a wardrobe star for me and am only sorry that I got them so late in the season! Worth every penny!

Fabulous boots! I own both the cognac nubuck and black nubuck. Size 8 M is my normal size and this fits perfectly, as I like to wear a sock inside my boots. Might be a bit loose if you don't wear socks. Love my Frye boots!
