Seems like a nice trail sneaker, I got mine for everyday use so don't know how long the treads will hold up. The arch support could be a little better, but all in all still a good comfortable sneaker. More info could be given on the laces of how to make them expand to get your foot into the shoe and not feel like your going to break the lace, tightening them was fine from the instructions attached, but if you do break the lace there are places that do sell a kit online other then that all is well.

I've gone through three of these shoes and am now ready to buy the fourth pair. I use these shoes mainly for running and working out at the gym. They are comfortable, light weight, durable, and never go out of style. I would recommend to anyone.

First pair of Salomons and I am hooked!!! These shoes are everything everyone says. I will be honest I did not want to believe these shoes were as great as everyone says. I finally gave in and orders through Zappos who is always the best way to order anything. Shoes came with lightning delivery. The minute I slipped them on I knew they were the real deal. Wore them for a mile trail run to break them in. No need to break in, they felt like slippers instantly. I will for sure being ordering more colors!

I wear Saloman Boots/Shoes pretty much daily. This shoes didn't disappoint - true to fit/sizing and no break in time needed, period. Comfortable right out of the box.

I have very high arches and somewhat narrow feet, so I'm always a littler nervous when changing any athletic shoe. I purchased these having owned several pairs of Salomon in the past and was very satisfied to find that these has the build quality I've come to expect with the added benefit of being a pretty light shoe. When I first tried them on they felt a little over padded, but once I tightened the quick lace system the uppers of the shoe comfortably wrapped around my foot and the padding compressed nicely. Like normal, the lacing system holds well once tightened and neatly stores away in the small pouch provided at the tongue. I wore these for about 30 minutes around the house, and then after that my first outing was a 12 mile hike across the knife edge at Mount Katahdin in Maine. The shoes held up well, provided great traction, didn't give me blisters, and felt like the breathed well. My feet actually felt less sore than normal at the end of the day which was a pleasant surprise. All in all I've been very please thus far. My only issue is that the support at the back of the heel feels like it would get crushed easily, which means I have to be more careful when putting the shoe on. If you use a shoe-horn you shouldn't have any issues, but if your anything like me and you just use your finger then I would advise making sure your heel is all the way down before removing your finger from the back of the shoe. At one point I just held the bottom of the shoe and slipped my foot in, but I could feel something at the back of the heel had slipped. I took the shoe off and low and behold there was a small budge. I just pushed it back flat and it hasn't been an issue since, but still something worth noting.

I received this shoe a couple days after ordering. The shoe came in brand new condition. The shoes fit perfectly to my feet upon its first wear. I use these for work everyday and stays comfortable throughout my shifts.

I love salmon shoes they are true to size and fit great on my narrow feet. Love the zip and tuck laces and they are an extremely sturdy shoe...they should be for the price. I have owned many pair of this same shoe in the past I like them so much.

This shoe is pretty narrow for my 11.5 feet. Did not think I would want to run 4 miles in it comfort. Style and quality seem pretty good. Sent back for full refund.

Great, very aggressive trail shoe. Stable with a fast ride. lots of traction. Does well on steep climbs and descents.

I use these exclusively for Trail running and they are the most comfortable off road shoe I have ever owned. I will use them in an upcoming Spartan Race. I will be purchasing another pair after the race.

I'm very pleased with this shoe. When I bought this shoe, I was looking for a hiking shoe that was more like a sneaker with a tough but flexible sole. This shoe did not disappoint. We went trail hiking over the weekend on fairly rocky trails and my feet felt comfortable and well supported the entire time. If I had any complaint, it would be that the toe box feels slightly narrower than I would like, but this is more of a personal preference. It is not to the point where it causes discomfort.

Greatest shoe for casual wear. Truth be told, the lack of traditional laces is the main selling point for me! Have bought many through the years. They seem to run 1/2 size small.

I bought these as an alternative to hiking boots since trail running shoes are supposed to be a good option. I used them for a three day backpacking trip on the Appalachian Trail and worked great. Lots of support and comfort and the tread helped on the slippery parts of the trail. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a pair of trail runners.

I've been a loyal Salomon customer for years with this being my 6th or 7th pair of shoes. They fit true to size are comfortable as can be and look stylish. I haven't run in them yet but I can imagine they'll be great on the trails. I was pleasantly surprised that the traction nubs on the sole were softer than anticipated making for a cushy step. I totally recommend this shoe.

I love this shoe. I have always purchased the black color in 10.5 size. The toe box on this yellow (10.5) pair was very much smaller than my existing black shoes.

All I can say is...WOW! This is the first pair of sneakers/ running shoes that I have just been blown away with. They're light, comfy and don't squeak! I have ran about 50 miles with them so far and I also wear them every day for work as a nurse. I highly recommend them and as I mentioned...WOW! This is a must buy if you're looking for amazing comfort and arch support. Good job Salomon! I will be buying more of their products based on these shoes alone.

Second set of the exact same shoe, so it must be good! Light but aggressive for the miles I put on obstacle courses across the country. I love the speed lace system as well.

Right out of the box, these things ROCK! The first day I ran 5 miles on a snowy/muddy trail and never had any issues with traction. They are super comfortable and look awesome! The grip on the bottom is semi-soft so don't be doing any long pavement runs with these. Overall, great kicks.

These shoes are amazing out of the box! They are super comfortable to wear, I can feel the ground, so much traction and great weather permeability. I work outside a lot and these shoes are so versatile that I do not have to think about what footwear to put on in the morning. I do not think that I will ever want to buy other shoes. I get so many compliments when I wear them.

Much Darker Grey than Picture shows. Over all shoe looks grey with little contrast. This is my second pair of Speedcross 3, and 5th pair of Saloman shoes. Salomon makes a great durable shoe.

I rarely ever write reviews. I have been using and purchasing the Speedcross 3 since June 2013 and I am still coming back to these shoes (this is my seventh pair). I am not a big runner, more for everyday use, daily walks and chasing the kids around in the yard. These shoes are just incredibly comfortable, light weight and quick to get on/off. I cannot imagine not having these around, try them if you have not alread.

Highly recommended. I'm a very tall 6'7" guy with size 14 shoe. I had a tough time finding larger sizes that are both functional and comfortable for trail/mud running. If you're a bigger guy look no further than the Salomon Speedcross 3.

I run approximately 15 to 25 trail-miles a week. I couldn't do it without these shoes. They work extremely well on all types of terrain (e.g. dry, wet, slippery, and frozen) They are also great for gripping rock if your a hiker (however, little ankle support for avid outdoors fans). I'd recommend getting 1 size larger than you normally would for road running shoes. Also, I have a somewhat wide foot, but these still fit well (even with my own insoles). The quick lace system is easy, and doesn't loosen while in use, and the shoe is extremely well made. You'll wear through the tread, before the top falls apart. If you're into trail running or just want peace of mind while walking/hiking trails, check out Salomon, you won't be disappointed.

Like a glove. Feel great. Look awesome even though the fit is what is most important.
