I wanted to love these so much, they look great in the ads running on AOL. However, as the other reviewers say, the fit is way off, and the toe is much clunkier looking in person than in the ad. Very thick and disproportionate to the shoe. The pair I got had obviously been returned before, as there are a lot of rub marks on the suede. All in all, not as I hoped.

I read in a magazine about this shoe, and ordered them. I am older, and I can wear this incredible shoe and look sexy.

Pros: The platform gives you height without adding discomfort. The inside is very cushioned. Cons: The heel was too wide for me. I have skinny heels and even with heel inserts, my heel came out. Had to return and buy different ones without the cushioned insert.

I just purchased the black calf leather version of this pair of pumps. Unless the particular pair I got was defective, I found it to be one of the most uncomfortable pair of pumps I have ever experienced - its high price adding insult to injury. Within 5 minutes of wearing the same, the top of my metatarsal (part before the big toe) was in pain with the stitching part of the shoe pressing hard into that part of the foot. And it has nothing to do with the shoe being too small. I normally wear size 37 European and I ordered the 6.5 - and still this shoe was slightly too large - the back of my heel kept slipping out. The beauty of the style of the shoe does not make up for the torture to my feet. I gave up wearing the shoe even within my carpeted office where I sit and occasionally walk to another room after suffering for 3 hours.

Super cute shoe. Very comfortable with the Adidas support. Seems to run true to size in length, but was a little narrow for my toe box in a wide width. Really good looking and well-made shoe though.

Beautiful shoes out of the box, but ladies with a bunion issue, or wider than normal feet, will cry! Purchased these for a series of 3 special events. Couldn't wear them to any. I wear a 8.5, ordered a 9, which would have been fine, had the toe box not been so small. Had to return, sadly.

These shoes are beautiful! There is very nice padding in the foot bed and the platform helps the shoe feel comfortable despite the 4 inch heel. My only complaint is the width is slightly narrow. but since the shoe is leather, it should give a bit. Very well made! I would recommend this shoe!

Shoe is very stylish and very comfortable for 4" heel. Footbed has a great deal of padding and shoe felt true to size.

I wanted to love these so much since they are unbelievably comfortable. However, my heel kept slipping out and the shoe would fall off. I tried a smaller size which resolved the heel-slipping issue, but then the shoe and toe area was just too tight. I really wish Rockport would redesign this shoe to fit better in the heel. I had to return these, but with a redesign, I'll get a pair in every color!

I love the look of this shoe, the color is rich and they're very stylish. Unfortunately, they're way too narrow for a wide. I always wear wide in a pump just for the extra comfort but these are not wide at all. I expected more from Rockport.

I have many health issues, and consequently many feet issues, not the least of which is how wide they are. These fit like a glove, have tons of arch support, and are easy to wear. They are the first shoes I've found in years that are fashionable, sexy, fun to wear. I bought them in brown last week and have just ordered them in black.

Wanted to love these... But yes the toe is less than beautiful (a bit of a dowdy rounded toe for the amount of tow cleavage it reveals), even that was forgivable; however I ordered the wide width, which was barely noticeable... still could have looked past that (what wide footed gal isn't used to uncomfortably squished toes?)... but in the end could not wear them because they kept slipping off my heel! Returned. :(

So amazingly comfortable, I have many foot issues and these are very flattering and fit so well.

The Adidas inner sole feels heavenly. The shoe is classic, stylish. The heel keeps slipping off though so it has to go back. Bummer.

Because they come in wide sizes (one of the few pumps that do) they are pretty comfortable. They could still be better with more padding but compared to other high heeled pumps these are at least wearable. I wish manufacturers would get a clue and make wide width high heeled pumps.

Beautiful shoe. Fits true to size, but much too narrow at the toe. I'm going to have to exchange it for a 1/2 size larger and hope it doesn't slip.

These shoes are so pretty, and I have had the same issue with them slipping off. Foot Petals makes a heel cushion that sticks to the inside of the back of the shoe. I used them in this shoe, and they don't slip anymore. I have a sweater to match the plum ones, and they look very chic.

I agree with the previous review that the heel is very wide. It is also very deep which necessitated pads both under my heels and on the back of the shoe to keep from rubbing. Although I ordered them in a wide I needed them stretched (probably due to the dreaded foot spread as one ages).

These shoes look great, and the insoles are heavenly, but they stretch out the longer you wear them in a day. I have yet to end a day with this pair of shoes on my feet.

I am usually 8.5 in shoes but even 8 was a little big for me. I am sending them back because in 7.5 the wide width will be small for me.

This is a very beautiful pump and I was looking forward to wearing it to work. Unfortunately there was way too much heel slippage in the 10 and the size 9 was too small. Perhaps the 9.5 will be the answer.
