I was ready to love these shoes. They were too big. I'm sending them back and trying a half size smaller. They were moderately comfortable. I couldn't really tell since they kept slipping off my heel.

They are beautiful; however, the heel of the shoe will not stay on your foot. If you never want to walk, they're great. I wanted to like them. Believe all these reviews! Not worth it.

I think the problem is that the heel is so high, it pitches one forward, making the width, even in a Wide, too narrow. It was a little too wide in the heel, but the main problem is that it pinched my joint below the big toe. I could tell it would be horribly uncomfortable after a few minutes of wearing. This shoe needs redesigning.

I spent a lot of money on these shoes, thinking that I would be getting comfort and style, however they are very uncomfortable at the front of my feet. They feel very tight, eventhough they are the correct size for me and fit everywhere else. Would not recommend them

Heel slips with each step I take which is why I gave this 1 star. It's really too bad! Otherwise very comfortable for such a high heel.

Ouch! I really really wanted to like these shoes. I was looking for a solid, comfortable pair of work shoes and thought these would be perfect. They look really nice but once I started wearing them, like many other reviewers, they slipped in the heel on the right shoe and I think once they loosen from wear, the left one will, too. I tried to get insoles to push my foot back and it helped the heel slipping a bit, but then my toes feel asleep because the toe was too tight! I am wearing them right now at work and am going to have to go home on lunch to change because I can't walk in them. Sorry to say that they are going back.

I just received the Rockport Janae's today. The shoe looks great and feels very comfortable. I purchased these in a size 9 (I wear 9.5 in Franco Sartos), and had to struggle a little bit to get them on. Once they were on they felt great. I started to walk around in them and for some reason the shoe on my left foot kept slipping off at the heel. I thought it might be an isolated incident and continued to walk and they continued to slip off my heel. (the first time it happened I almost fell). Unfortunately, at this price the shoe should be perfect; this one wasn't and will be going back.

Comfort is great, sizing is good but too rounded of a toe for me and too much toe cleavage.

Thee most comfortable heels my feet have ever worn! You could play basketball in these shoes!

Yep, it's true these shoes are great! I have never experienced a comfortable pair of heels until this moment. They stay on my feet, good traction, I've never so much as stumbled. They fit like a glove! If I could buy one in every color, I would. Five stars.

Incredibly comfortable shoe! I almost never wear heels, simply because they are uncomfortable to wear for long periods of time, but this shoe is the exception! Very stylish, and I was able to wear them all night without any pain or discomfort to my feet! I am ordering another pair pronto!

I tried these in a 6.5W and a 7. They both fit quite well, but I decided to go with the 7. Extremely comfortable! Both shoes fit very well. Well-made, good arch support, they didn't fall off my feet when walking, and you won't slip and fall (bottom is not slick). A keeper!

I was a little leery ordering this shoe after reading some of the reviews, but I had to have the doeskin color. Received the shoe very quickly from Zappos and have to say I am very pleased. The wide width fits well, it is a true 8.5 and I am not experiencing the slipping off the heel others mention. In fact, I've ordered the black and nude as well. Very comfy for a high heel!

These shoes are triple perfect: great style, great color and terrific comfort. Arch cushion keeps you comfortable no matter how many hours you wear them.

FABULOUS! I cannot say it enough. These shoes felt very true to size and the wide is so comfortable on my little toes, which are always squished in good-looking shoes. Rockport, you definitely have my vote! I wore these for the first time yesterday. All day at work and to an after-hours networking workshop. No pain. No blisters. Just bliss. The 1 inch platform definitely helps. These are great.

Most comfortable pump I've ever tried. Have to return for half size smaller. Ordered in a 8 W need to exchange for a 7 & 1/2 W.

Super comfy, very pricely. The 7W fit me perfect. I just can't justify the price, however. Also the nude color is very light, more of ivory than truly a nude shade.

These are fabulous and worth every penny. Very well constructed and comfortable. I don't think I'll ever buy a pair of 4" heels again but if I do, these will be it.

I love these shoes, so much so that I also bought them in black! They give me fabulous height and yet I can still walk and dance all night.

I wanted to love these pumps but they simply weren't wide enough across the front of the foot. The quality was what I was looking for, just didn't fit.
