I really like my new balance shoes. Sizing can be tricky. I sized them big like recommend and had to rerun thm for a smaller size. But the return was fast and easy.

This shoe is designed as a minimalist so if you ??re looking for padding and support this is not your shoe. It is for those looking to move their body back to proper muscle length and tension relationships and improve joint mobility. This shoe looks and feels nice, is light and rather well constructed considering the minimal nature. The sizing is all off so order a full size up and you will be pleased!

Are you dipping your toe into barefoot running, but looking for a gentle transition first? Minimus is your answer. Just a great, minimalist running shoe. Light as a feather, comfortable as a slipper, with just the right amount of cushion for your footbed. (You for sure want to study midfoot strike running on YouTube; excessive heel strike would probably hurt after a few miles.) I got these b/c I wanted a near-negative heel to s-t-r-e-t-c-h out my Achilles tendons. Works great!

Love it. Lightweight and stylish. Runs a little small but I'm more than happy with these.

Awesome Crossfit shoe, and I also just ran a half marathon in my older pair of MX20s! Really comfy wide fitting with plenty of room in the toe box, unlike so many of the lighter weight shoes out there. Absolutely adore this shoe.
Ordered the same size as I have been wearing in New Balances for a couple of years now (got professionally fitted at a running shop) and runs true to size.

My husband loves these shoes. In his words, "These are the most comfortable running shoe I've ever owned."

I am writing this for my 15 year old son. He has flat feet and pronates. We've tried a lot of different sneakers and he loves these. We've decided to go the minimalist route with very good results in his running (he wears the M730v1) and in his everyday foot comfort (he wears these ones for everyday purposes). My husband used to get him sneakers with arch support for his pronation but in every case it made things worse. Please note that New Balance sizes can differ drastically from one model to the next. These were a full size bigger than the New Balance M730v1 that he has for running.

Returned shoes that were a tad too big for these in EE. they are a bit on the small side but I'm keeping them because they are light, stylish, and feel really good on my feet.

You should see these on me...they are so bright and awesome and look great with black, gray, or navy bottoms. Very comfy, and very functional in my interval training classes. Strongly recommend, and I hope NB continues to make bright n beautiful shoes that function better than the competition (Nike).

Order one-half to one full size larger than normal. Otherwise, terribly comfortable shoes. Delightfully lightweight. Ideally flexible.
But the color selections are bloody awful. If anyone from New Balance is reading this, please, for the love of all that is holy, please continue manufacturing MX20, but do it in a neutral color like grey. I don't need shoes that glow in the dark.
I've purchased several pairs of MX20s. I hate the colors, but all the other traits keep me coming back.

I bought this shoe for CrossFit and really like it. It has a flat sole, which gives great stability for lifts. It's not the best shoe for running, but I knew that going in. For CrossFit it is a great all around shoe. It runs small and I had to sent back my 13 for a 14. You should order them 1/2 to full size bigger.

Super light-weight, these shoes are fantastic for running errands all day, standing, jogging in the park, pretty much anything. They stay super cool and leave your feet feeling fantastic after a long day.

I got this shoe for crossfit after wearing regular running shoes for a long time. These shoes are very comfortable and are great for handling WODs that include a large amount of box jumps.

These are my favorite shoes for Crossfit and everyday wear. Lightweight, low (4mm) heel drop, flexible, durable, and comfortable. Another winner from New Balance

Love these shoes. Very lightweight, neutral sole and personally I love the color. The one drawback is the cushion around the ankle. My other NB minimums don't have it and at first it is weird to have such a lightweight shoe have so much bulk but you kind of forget about it untils the next time you out them on. Overall great shoe.

Features of the shoe I liked: 1. No arch support. 2. Minimal heel to toe drop; 4 millimeters? 3. Low profile outsole/midsole 4. Flexible throughout; minimal heel counter 5. Comes in EE. This shoe basically checks off all the prerequisites of a good minimal shoe.

A very lightweight athletic shoe. The upper is made from fabric, foam, and mesh, so it conforms to my foot pretty well. I have wide feet, and 2E felt right. I normally wear a size 9, and this shoe in 9.5 felt right when wearing thin athletic socks.

I'm using arch supports to combat plantar fasciitis. With supports, shoe feels nearly like slipper and very comfortable to walk. Looking forward to using without supports but they are quite flat. Did have to send back for larger size as they run small.

Just got my x20 and literally couldn't wait to put my feet in after reading all the good reviews about the shoe. Was a bit worried regarding sizing, I'm usually a 11D in all my previous NB shoes - I'm a huge fan of the classic 574 - and I took the risk to order the same exact size for the minimus. It does feel tighter at first, but I've loosened up the laces (which are super long anyway, so these is room for that) and it fits just fine. They're brand new too, and I'm expecting them to break a little. My toes are at the end of the shoe, but I feel like ordering an extra half size would have made the foot move forward which tends to create rubbing. Just went for a quick walk with them to break them in, barefoot (living in the Caribbean, socks are mostly optional for everything) and it felt just right. I wear mostly Tom's for work, so I'm used to thin sole and barefoot sensation, and I highly recommend it, but yes, I can understand that it may take a while to break cushion habits for novices, hence the large amount of questioning about the sizing. The x20 seems to be the perfect transition for it, and I'm looking forward to making it my everyday shoe for walks around the parks and I may be able to squeeze the all-black look at the office too!

Bought these shoes for Crossfit and work great as weight-lifting shoes. They have a good heel support which keep your heels centered. Definitely not a running shoe but short jogs/sprints are fine. I would recommend these shoes if you are looking for the above characteristics.

I am happy with my purchase - it is a great shoe at the price I paid. I appreciate how light and comfortable it is and it was critical that it came in a wider size to fit my Frodo Baggins feet.
As you will expect, this is a great cross training shoe and the light/minimal form factor comes at the price of lacking durability.
I wore these shoes for intense hiking and they are pretty much dead. As long as you keep it in the gym, it should do the job for some time. Would consider purchasing again.

Purchased these shoes to use in Crossfit. I've had them for about a month and a half and love them. They are very comfortable during the workouts and easy to run in.

These run really small! I'm normally an 11EE. Took a 13EE to find room for my toes...and then none too much! Order larger than you'd think possible. Wonderfully comfortable, like wearing a good slipper with soles.

This is a good minimalist shoe with more cushioning around the foot than the newer version. They are not the super thin style material like a lot of the minimalist sneakers. They are good for the gym, crossfit, hiking, etc. I suggest you order a half size bigger as they run small.

I should have looked at the reviews because I would have noticed that these run a bit small. I tried to just break them in but unfortunately that didn't work. In the end I had to return these to get some that fit better.
