I love these shoes and buy a new pair every other year. I use them as slippers during the winter because I need good arch support even around the house. I think they’re very cute, stylish and offer good support. My one complaint is the sole wears out before the rest of the shoe. This needs improvement.

The fit is larger and wider than expected for my 8.5 size-I ordered a 39 as suggested. I'll be using them for winter wear here in New England, and with heavy socks, they fit o.k. The delivery was an issue, as they were left on my doorstep in the pouring rain without a plastic wrap! Luckily the shoes were dry, even though the packaging was SOAKED!

I usually wear a 10.5 in a Merrill and the 41s were definitely more like a 10. I plan on using them as a house shoe so I am keeping them. But if I wore them with heavy socks for winter ... they would be too small.

I love this style of haflinger slippers for the excellent arch support - I wear them around the house all day. I recommend for anyone with foot problems (or anyone who wants to avoid foot problems).

These were comfortable with a nice wide fit, however I felt that it looked more like a slipper than a shoe.

I really like Haflinger clogs and have two other pairs in a different style. They are great in winter to keep those feet warm. I was looking for a navy shoe, but these were very dark, the decorative stitching is very cute. I had to return them because they were just a little bit too big . I would go down a size in this model

I really wanted these to work. I need a pair of "House Shoes" or slippers. They were SO wide and had too much volume. I did not try them with THICK socks (I have read that other people wear them with Hiking Socks). I think that they were the correct length - just not for my foot. Cute shoes!

I really liked the footbed of this shoe -- lots of arch support, as many have said! -- and I wanted to love it, but...it just doesn't fit (me) well. The sizing of the shoe seems fine as the arch support hits in the right spot, my heel is inside the short back cuff, and my toes aren't hitting the front, but the top felting piece doesn't seem to be long enough to keep the shoe on my foot when I walk. This may be because I have a very high arch, so it may fit better/further back on the foot for others. I wore them around the house, and found myself shuffling instead of walking, which isn't helping my plantar fasciitis. So, back they go, and the search for a perfect replacement house shoe continues!

According to Haflinger's sizing, a size 7 would be their size 38, but these were almost a full size too large for me. I'll send them back and hope that the 37 fits. I love these shoes. They're really pretty and I love the swirl design.

Haflinger clogs are so comfortable. I have four pairs. They work best for me with a heavy sock.

footbed as great as Birkenstock, but too wide for a narrow foot. Wish they made narrow like Birks do. Cute style.

WHAT I LIKE MOST OF ALL IS THE AMOUNT OF ARCH SUPPORT THIS PARTICULAR SLIPPER HAS COMPARED TO OTHERS I'VE TRIED IN THE PAST. I ORDERED ONE SIZE SMALLER THAN NORMAL (BASED ON OTHER REVIEWS I READ) AND THEY FIT WELL.

I really liked the look of the shoe (a bit large for me)-- but I bought it for someone else and they were looking for more cushion. Liked how generous in toe box.

I've purchased slippers (the ones with the brown dog on each one), and I loved those, so I thought I would try these as easy, slip on-slip off shoes when I'm going outside in a rush. I normally order 7.5 - 8 depending on the shoe, width, and style. These were HUGE. I ended up ordering the equivalent of a size 6, and those fit well. Thank goodness for free shipping and free returns. I was feeling a bit finicky, but the third order was the one that worked. Even with thick polar fleece socks, these are very roomy, and I wouldn't say my feet were narrow by any means. Overall, a good shoe, but order a size down as they are very roomy inside.

Stitching came undone on both outer sides. I have loved many pairs of Haflingers through the years. No complaints about these except for the stitching.

I bought these to mostly wear as slippers around the house. I need a little better arch support than these provide due to plantar fasciitis. They work well as slippers and are very comfortable. Even though they are open heeled, they are very warm in the winter. I have even worn them outside at times. They can be slippery on snow and ice.

I love Haflinger and I love this shoe. I ordered it in Navy. The stitching is gorgeous. Quality all all around. So imagine my disappointment when even wearing a heavy sock, it's too wide. The length was perfect. Sending them back.

I've had these for a couple of years and my left big toe has made a hole in the felt. Also - some of the stitching has come loose. Disappointing.

I have been wearing these same style Haflinger clogs for years. When ordering this year, the first pair seemed to be missing some padding in the forefoot, and I could feel lumps around the perimeter inner sole. I returned those and re ordered. The second pr was fine in the inner sole, but one shoe fit my fit quite a bit larger.... it was too long in the heel, and kind of dragging when I walked. I need to be able to pick up my feet , so I don't fall. So... sadly, these are being returned. Not sure if I will order another pair. It is frustrating as there really aren't any of this style of shoe that fits just right.... I really need a 1/2 size, but have accepted the full , and lived with it, until now. Other similar slippers are usually too narrow, or the felt doesn't hold up well, or not enough arch, etc.

Was so disappointed in this shoe. It was a WHOLE SIZE LARGER than I normally wear. It’s cute but the sizing is way off!

Cute shoes. I really wanted to make them work. Unfortunately, they were too wide to wear. Shorter would have been too short.

The shoes are cut, cute, cute. Even though previous reviews warned they were wide, I had to try them. So now I can add my experience, they are very wide. The next half-size down would have been too short. Darn!

These are really cute but don’t work for my long narrowish feet. In my normal size my toes hit the front of the shoe and I slide all around on the footbed. This is not terribly unusual for me. I wish someone would make shoes that aren’t short and wide!

I generally wear a size 8-9 for my shoes. I had ordered these in 9 first then 8 but these are way too big on my feet. They are very comfortable and warm, perfect for MN winters in the house. Just need to get the next size down. Now ordering 7(38 in std)

This shoe ran large for my foot, i am a 6.5-7 and even with a thicker sock, it would have been to big and wide.
