I LOVE this boot! It's very well constructed and sized perfectly. It looks exactly like the picture. I wear a 6 1/2, and it was true to size. I feel a bit of a pinch on my left little toe, so I'm taking it to a shoe man to see if he can do something. Other than that, it's perfect.

These boots are beautiful, and totally comfy. They are soft, so they naturally slouch a bit. Expertly made! The only downside is the price....

These boots are incredible. They're gorgeous and fit really well. I'm 8.5 months pregnant and can wear these all day in total comfort. The tumbled gray is spectacular. I can wear them with black or brown, casual or dress. Love them!

Beautiful color. Great quality I expect from Frye.

I fell in love with this boot as soon as I saw it. I ordered it in the tan and the stone suede. After much deliberation I decided to keep the suede pair. If I had my way I would have kept both. I've always been a fan of Frye as they make high quality products.

I love these boots! I have muscular calves and a small foot but Frye always seems to work!

Last year I got the tall cuff Jane boot and these are just as wonderful! Maybe even better because of the buckle strap detail!

I love the Jane Strappy. These are my fourth pair of Frye boots and I love them also! The fit is great, the leather is quality and they look great with skinny jeans or leggings!

This is a gorgeous boot, just not quite what I am looking for. Although I may return again!

These boots are absolutely beautiful! Unfortunately I'm looking for something I can wear under boot-cut jeans as well as with skinny jeans. With the strap details and shaft height they show underneath even a boot-cut pair of jeans. Will probably return for something more versatile.

I debated for weeks over what Frye boot, if any to get. I have a very skinny calf and was worried these would be too wide. I got my normal size. They are gorgeous! They don't look too baggy in the calf area with my skinny jeans tucked in. So stylish and comfy. I got the dark brown and they are very neutral, as I am more of a black boot girl. I can't wait to see how many ways to wear these this year!

These are my favorite Frye boots. The heel has enough height to look great, yet they are completely easy to walk in. I am a teacher with long days and a lot of stair climbing and walking; these will not require any break-in. They feel a lot like Carsons, which means the size 10 is roomy, generously so, but just the way I like it. Some people will want to size down, but I prefer my true size 10. My foot is slightly wide, too. I got the fatigue suede, which looks more like a neutral grey. The soft suede is substantial, not wimpy. It can be scrunched down or left high. The leather might be a bit more sturdy, but I love a great suede boot. All in all, these are beautiful and comfortable boots.

I bought these boots from another store because they had a great sale. I am glad that I did! I have six pairs of Frye boots and love them all. These did not disappoint. They are made of quality leather, in nice style, the fit is nice and the heel is just right! I really lucked out getting these on sale!

Very cute boots! Fits perfect over my skinny jeans, I have small to average calves. The color is a little darker than on my computer. They are a bit tight in the toe area, which I don't usually have a problem with. I've worn them several times and they haven't seemed to stretch out much. Other than that I really love these boots!

These are comfortable power boots. The heel isn't too high for slippery snow either. My husband really likes the way they look with skinny jeans. I only wish the inside was finished with smooth leather.

I ordered the light suede version and felt that they would be too easily ruined for my lifestyle, but beautiful boots. I typically wear a 7.5 but they were tight, especially to wear with socks, so I ordered the light leather version in an 8 and I'm hoping they fit!

I got the tumbled brown color yesterday. It is more of a mahogany brown, so it has a deep purplish/redish hue to the leather that I could not see in the pictures online. I am going to send them back though because of that and the toe box was not to my taste and honestly for the price I expected the sole of the shoe to be a little higher quality. I am an 8½ and I ordered the 8½ which fit perfectly with socks on. I did notice while walking around in the house that inside, in the shaft of the boots there was something that was rubbing on my calf, I am not sure if it was where the straps attach, but wondered to myself if that would get annoying if I wear them frequently? I ordered them at 7:00 AM one day and had them by 1:00 PM the next day. Unbelievable!

On my second time wearing these boots, the leather scrunched down almost 2 inches. It bunches around the heel and looks like a wrinkly dog. So sad because I love these boots.

Love this boot when it arrived. Fits a larger calf (16") Boot is true to size but I received a defective right boot. The lining on the inside by the outer ankle is torn away and makes a big lump (rubbing) on my ankle. If it could be fixed I would keep them but per my cobbler this cannot be fixed. Darn. This is the only size 9 Zappos is offering they have no more in stock in this color. I'm giving this boot 5 stars all around because other than the defect they are great.

One word: Wow. These boots are gorgeous! They are quite versatile - they can look pretty, or rock 'n roll depending on what you wear them with. I chose charcoal, and it goes with everything. However, I am shocked that so many reviews say these run true to size. Fryes are NOT true to size. They run large, and they stretch out over time. You should never put on a pair of new Fryes and think "these feel good," that means they'll be too big and sloppy once broken in (I've made this mistake before!!). You should think "ooh, these are snug" (as long as you are not in pain). I am a true 8, and I bought a 7.5 and a 7 to compare. I kept the 7, because although they were tight, the length was correct. Now that I've broken them in they are perfect. Unless you have wide feet and/or calves, size down! Its worth the breaking in period. Whatever your foot issues are, my advice is to buy the smallest size you can stand to wear. You will love them forever.

This is my first time ordering Frye boots and boy am I happy that I did! I ordered my usual size 7, and would definitely say these felt true to size. There is plenty of room to wear them with socks or tights. And the strap at the top of the boot can be adjusted a bit (like a belt) to accomodate for thicker socks/tights, too. I bought the Fatigue Suede/Veg Tan and it is a beautiful neutral color; not a typical olive green fatigue like you might be thinking. I actually saw these boots while perusing Fall outfits online and lucky for me Zappos had them in stock! The suede is very soft and the boots appear to be well made (which is something Frye is known for). I think these are very versatile boots that will look great with jeans or a dress!

Awesome boots. Very comfortable and they have a heel, which makes them a little more dressy than my other boots. I bought the tan so I can wear them in the spring and early fall. They were a bit more slouchy than the picture looked, but they still look great. I mostly wear these boots with skirts and dresses, but they would look great with jeans as well.

These boots are beautiful. I have tried on so many Fryes, and these are so far the only ones even close to fitting right on my narrow calves. I am tall, 5'10", and I feel like my calves are normal but I guess they must be skinny because most boots are way too big. These are still a little roomier at the top than my ideal, but the shaft up the back is straight, which makes my leg look nice. The foot of the boot is also smaller than the usual Frye's, which looks much better on me. I had no trouble getting them on. They are a little big through the foot/ankle, but I fear a smaller size would be too small, so I will keep the size 9.5 that I have. Overall, I am happy! With jeans they look wonderful, and for skirts, I have borrowed the trick of wearing them with long socks/leg warmers peaking out the top. This decreases the gap and actually looks pretty cute. For skinny calf girls, this might not be our dream boot, but they are so well-made and so stylish, it is possible to make it work. I am keeping them!

I love these boots. They are comfortable. I can wear them with skinny jeans and skirts/dresses. Easy to slip on, and can be tightened at top if needed. Definitely my favourite boots now!

I knew that I had to have these the second I saw them. As the proud owner of over a dozen Fryes, these are without a doubt a standout in my collection, one of my top three. I got the dark brown and the leather is absolutely gorgeous, a softish, malleable, richly colored leather that makes my leg look shapely. The leather does not fall down, but nor is it that stiff, hard leather that does not mold to your leg shape. I think the leather used in this style is probably one of the best leathers Frye has used. The fit/feel of the leather is more important than what people realize. The boot was easy to slip on without being loose (I wear these with leggings or very stretchy soft fitting pants). The shape of the shoe is excellent. For those who say "order size up/order size down," I would go with your own size that you have been buying for years and do not listen to other people who tell you what size to get. As soon as I tried them on I just about died with pleasure. They feel amazing. These are ones I will wear over and over again. The fit and feel is what makes these the standout long boot in the Frye collection. I also got the Jane Cuff and I was disappointed in those as they just were not up to the standard of the Strappys. I choose the Strappys over the Cuffs. I will return the Cuffs, but if I ever saw another color Strappy (on sale!) I would definitely pick those up. A worthy, unregrettable purchase.
