Good sandal, does support arch. Is not soft, comfy or cushy; however, so if that is what you are looking for, this isn't it. However, sometimes the arch in my left foot hurts and I wear these for a little while and it goes away for a few days (fighting plantar fasciitis). I have had for approximately a month and still cannot wear them all day before they actually start to hurt themselves. (Instructions say not to wear them all day right away and I'm not.)

Other reviewers have said it took a day or two to adjust to the high arch and I found that to be true. After that, they were comfortable and really helped my heel pain. It is so nice to have sandals to wear in the summer that have such great arch support! Highly recommend for problem feet!

I love the concept that Orthoheel provides, but in order for these flips to fit my high arch, I need to go down 1/2 size. Unfortunately, 1/2 sizes are not available. I ordered a size 8 and 7. Neither quite fit my arch. I debated about sending back both sizes, but kept the 8. I can only wear the flips for a couple of hours and then my arch start to hurt. I wish Orthoheel would have 1/2 sizes and I would be their best customer. Not crazy about the style, looks cheap.

Very nice quality, but better for people with high arches. TOO much arch support for my flattish feet. Had to return. Purchased New Balance flip flops instead; lower quality but more comfortable.

The Orthaheel Tide definitely offers good foot support and seems to help relieve some heel pain. I have a high arch, so they conform nicely to my feet. As comfortable & "orthotic" as they are, however, they are still "flip flops" which are probably the worst type of shoe you can wear. These shoes are great for around the house so you aren't barefoot on hardwood and tiles floors - especially while cooking - as well as for short outside, casual excursions but I would not recommend wearing for longer distances or times. Size-wise, I wear a 7.5 normally, so ordered down and the 7 fit nicely. The toe strap did rub a bit in the beginning. The color is great though and nice variety to choose from.

Great sandal with excellent arch support. The heel cup helps with proper foot alignment. The toe piece was moderately uncomfortable at first but became better with more wear. This is not a cushy sandal. I need the firmer sole so it is perfect for me. Also it is flat and does not turn up in the front like the picture. I love the neutral color.

I wear custom orthotics, which is a problem in the summer. These would be perfect if I could keep them on my feet. There were too wide. I wear a 6.5 and the 6 was great as far as length. The arch and the heel cradle were perfect for my over pronation.

After reading rave reviews, I thought these would be a keeper. I found the sandal way too loose in the instep. It's also not a light shoe, and the footbed is the plastic-like material and actually created a burning sensation on the bottom of my feet while wearing them around the house. I have a pair of Orthoheel slippers, and love them. These will go back.

I have flat and wide feet. I had surgery on my right foot. The thong between the toe is too irritating and the arch of shoe made my foot hurt. The quality of the shoe is well made, though. The problem lies in my feet being so flat.

I have wanted a pair of these sandals for a couple of years and when they arrived I thought they were perfect. But...the second time I tried them on the left sandal felt really tight around my toe. I measured the strap and it was shorter than the one on the right sandal - just enough so that my foot could not slide forward far enough and after a few minutes it hurt my toe - so I am retuning them.

After being told by my doctor that I couldn't wear ordinary flip flops I found these supportive Orthaheels. The arch support took a little getting used to but now these are my go-to flops. I was a little surprised at how long they took to arrive. Zappos used to ship very quickly (like in a day or two) but these took a week. Just something to factor in if you need something quickly.

I am pleased with the arch in this shoe. It has helped relieve pain in my feet, legs and back. What I do NOT like is the textured footbed and after 30 minutes it just feels like the bottoms of my feet are chewed up! Also, my feet do not fit securely, too much space between the top part and the bottom. I feel the need to clinch my toes to hold them on. I usually wear an 8 1/2 but this 8 is the right length so a smaller size would not solve the space problem. I DO wear them because they DO help with the pain from my P.F., but I do wish they were more comfortable.

I purchased these to see if they would help with my plantar fasciitis which has plagued me for a number of months. They take a bit to get used to from other shoes but for flip flops they are comfortable to kick on and go.

My go-to summer house shoes for walking on tile floors. Very comfortable, ran 1 size small for me (too tight in toe area). Not very pretty, but very comfortable.

I really like the style of the Tide. But I have low arches and after wearing them around the house for a few hours I was in great pain.

If you have looked for basic navy blue sandals, as I did, you know just how rare they are these days! I love these sandals. Being all one color, they look nice with a range of summer outfits, from jeans to dresses. I have short ( size 5), wide feet with an unusually high instep so my feet are hard to fit. These sandals are very comfortable. They seemed just a bit too long at first, but the arch fits exactly as it should. The width is perfect for me. I liked them so well that I also bought them in khaki/white. I am hoping that these sandals are water resistant and will
hold up after being caught in the rain, but we will see. I have only worn them a few times. So far, I highly recommend them.

I received these yesterday and have been wearing them for a full day now. For those of you looking for a dainty ladies flip flop, this is not it. The style is nothing fancy. They are very comfortable - the cushioning is excellent, and my knees are thanking me for the arch support. I will be looking to purchase other styles from this brand in the future. I wear a true 8.5 and I ordered these in an 8 based on other reviews. The 8 fits well and the 9 would have been way too big. Too bad they don't do half sizes.

I ordered these based on a recommendation from a friend who has suffered from plantar fasciatis as I have. While the sole felt comfortable and supportive, the straps were quite large and I felt the shoes were flopping around and tripping me up. I have an average foot width, but would need a narrow in these shoes. Sadly had to return them.

A very comfortable sandal with no break-in wear at all until I wore them to the beach and got them wet while walking along the shoreline. Once wet, the strap irritated the inside of my foot enough to use bandaids. As far as I can tell, the water had absolutely no effect on the sandals and I am again wearing them with much comfort. These do have a serious arch support as another customer pointed, which is exactly what I need.

These sandles are super comfortable after wearing them a few times! The arch support takes a little getting used to, I would definitely recommend them, and the color was more brown than bronze which I was happy about!

I often suffer from knee pain and after having a baby, my feet were quite uncomfortable. With the excellent arch support, these sandals have been exactly what I needed. My feet feel immediately better once I wear these. Love them!

I purchased these Orthaheels for myself at first they didn't appear to be very comfortable; however, now that I know where my foot is to be placed I like them. I would buy another pair and they are true to size.

These sandals saved my feet for a long time, but they do have a few drawbacks. When the straps begin to wear out on the inside, they really hurt the outside edge of your foot. This has happened to me and two other people I know. I wish they could make these sandals in another material. They are not easy to wear outside when doing yard work. For example: When watering plants and getting your feet dirty, if you rinse them off with water, they seem to hurt and irritate your feet under the straps, causing a painful rash, so painful, I have had to wear other shoes for a few days. Regular flip flops never did this to me. I still am going to purchase a new pair and experiment with them this summer. I have been wearing mine for almost a year and the support just isnt working as well. I hope all the problems will be solved with the new pair because, all in all, they are the ONLY shoe I have found to walk in that reduces the pain. My advice is to give them a try, they may only last 6 months if you wear them daily, but its well worth it.

I've just received the lilac/purple Tide flip-flops in size 7. They seem to run large, and the arch support seems about a full size too large for size 7. So far, they're OK to walk in; I particularly like their tendency to cup close to the sole of your foot as you walk, so that you are not making that horribly loud and tacky FLAP FLAP FLAP FLAP sound everywhere you walk, as I do when I'm wearing my flat flip-flops. The nylon web toe post seems comfortable and is not chafing me. I expected the insole to be a cushier or softer material, but it is fairly hard rubber, and despite the excellent contouring and arch support, is not springy or yielding at all.
