As someone who struggles with plantar fasciitis, I had found Fitflops to be a lifesaver and have worn them for years. I was hoping to find, however, a flip flop that didn't look like Fitflop so I tried the Orthaheel. I was pleasantly surprised. The arch support is excellent. It does not have the cushioned heel of the Fitflop to which I had become accustomed but I was grateful to have found a flip flop that looked simple and stylish. I'll certainly purchase another pair when the time comes.

Love the arch support, but sad I have to return. The length is true to size, and the arch is awesome, but the upper is way too big, it really flips and flops.

I bought these last spring because I thought I had plantar fasciitis. Turns out I didn't, but I loved the feel of these flip flops and wore them all summer. Unfortunately, the straps stretched and now I can't wear them without them falling off.

I suppose if you have plantars fascia which I do, they are good. Wish they could be a little more cushiony but if this is what it takes to wear sandals it is a good shoe. Felt true to size and width just wish they softened my step for my heel.

Ordered these because of the great reviews. I am a size 5 1/2, so instructions are to order half size smaller, which I did. Too snug. The straps rubbed a blister just wearing them around the house for a few hours to see if I was going to like them. Cute sandal, great arch support.

Subtle go-with-everything gold and tan color, casual but not too sporty or beachy for street wear; that said not stylish either, your average flip-flop. Solid arch support. Will be comfortable when I get the right size -- I followed others who said to order up but I advise ordering your size or going down a half size if you're in-between.

This s my first experience with an Orthaheel product? These thongs are very comfortable, and fit well. I have plantar fascia, and these thongs help support my heels. You do need to spend time breaking them in.

My arches are very high and I have orthotics for my shoes but needed sandals with built-in support. Although the arch support in Orthaheel sandals are not as high as I need, the anti-pronation heel cup keeps my feet and legs in proper allignment. I have tried many Orthaheel sandal styles (Thank you, Zappos!). My favorite for comfort is The Orthaheel Mojave Vionic Sport Recovery Toepost (in grey & berry) because it is soft and flexible and has adjustable straps. Those are my favorite for comfort but I need a dressier sandal. I ordered the Tide in black and I like the patent-leather strip on the straps. They are comfortable but the straps are loose, so I don't feel as secure as I do in the Mojave Vionic Toepost. I need a plain black sandal. Although they are not dressy, they are dressier than the Vionic Toepost, so I am keeping them. I ordered the Orthaheel Lola but those straps were too tight. I also tried the Orthaheel Dr. Weil Restore II, but they were too loose. They had a buckle on them that was decorative and didn't function to tighten or loosen the straps. Most of the Orthaheel sandals with adjustable straps are a bit clunky looking, so I'm hoping Orthaheel comes out with cute sandals with adjustable straps. Thank you, Zappos, for making my shopping enjoyable.

I purchased these sandals because I suffer from plantar fasciitis. They do take a little getting used to, I use these everyday at home.

I usually wear a 7 and my foot is wide, but this 7 was loose fitting and long. Im returning it for a 6.

These and the other Orthaheel shoes I ordered are helping to heal my Plantar Fasciitis which I thought would never happen! These sandals in particular have excellent arch support and are extremely comfortable. My only complaint is that like the others from this brand, these shoes retain foot odors and make my feet sweat.

Love these sandals, great arch support. Wish I could wear them year-round, but where I live we have snow.

These shoes definitely have good arch support. I would recommend ordering a half size smaller if you have normally wear a half size. For example, I typically wear a 7.5 and I needed to order a 7. Zappos was wonderful as always with the transaction!

I really love wearing a sandal with the built-in arch support! They wear very well, clean easily and are my go-to outside shoe for quick walks or trips around the house. Unfortunately, I must order the Men's versions due to size limits in Woman's. I really wish Orthaheel would come up with more styles and sizes.

I really love this flip flop. Very supportive and stylish. They do fit a little loose on me, they kind of slip around somewhat. I would say I have an average size foot, maybe a little narrow. But regardless, I decided to keep them because they gave me such good arch support. I have been dealing with PF for 2 1/2 years & these are the best sandals I have found yet to knock around in and not be in pain. If Orthaheel would make this flip flop with an adjustable strap or a narrow option, I would by every color.

These have the most supportive sole I've ever felt in a flip flop, with tons of arch support. the shoe is a little bulkier than I was expecting; it's hard to tell in pictures how thick the sole is. The straps were just okay - they were a little tight on me, but I have chunky feet so others may find the straps okay. The shoes were comfy, but I decided to return them because they were quite nice but not amazing, and I can't justify spending this much on flip flops that don't completely blow me away. I would be willing to buy work or casual shoes with Orthaheel soles, except that unfortunately most Orthaheel shoes are just plain ugly. The flip flop styles are the only ones that don't look frumpy, dorky, or matronly.

Great flip flops if you need arch support. First ordered a size 8 but realized they work on euro sizes to the 7" (38) felt better. Took a few weeks to break in but I love them.

I have a wide foot and a high arch but Orthaheel doesn't offer a "wide" option so I opted to try these because of the arch support. These sandals have a comfortable foot bed with nice arch support but still could have been wider for me. I generally wear an 8-1/2W (or with my tennis shoes have to go with the men's sizes for width) but had tried a different Orthaheel style in an 8 and 8-1/2 since I was told to size down with this brand; neither one fit. In this style the 9 just fits me with no excess at the heel and the width is okay but definitely could use something wider.

These shoes have more support than any I've tried, and I've tried many. They may have a bit too much for me, but I'm wearing them anyway to see if my feet begin to work with them. Unlike other people, I've purchased my low-end size. My size can range from 6.5 for sandals to an 8. Usually, a 7.5 works the best. The 7 fits perfectly and the 8 was way too big. I purchased these and a pair of Merrells. I wear the Merrells every day and these occasionally. I let my sister try them on and she loved them. I guess all feet aren't created equal.

Love having a flip flop with arch support, a comfortable sole and a good look. I am normally a medium width but this shoe feels wide. I kept it and bought other colors anyway as my feet tend to swell in heat and humidity. It fits best when my feet swell. Wish they made a narrower version.

Actually, I haven't yet worn these out. I finally wore my beloved Teva flip flops out and was forced to pick a new pair of "something". I like the black but not too crazy about the patent leather strip on the fabric. I actually saw these recommended on the Dr. Oz show one day and that's why I decided to order a pair. I think they'll be fine.

The arch support is perfect. Unfortunately the straps are too loose and I slip/slide in the shoe. I am going to order a different style than a flip flop in hopes it will fit better. The length was perfect size 10.

Love these! Wear a 9 1/2 Nike sneaker. Wear a 39 Dansko. Got the 9 in this shoe but exchanged for an 8 and fits perfectly. Got the red/tan. On line, the red looks brighter and the tan softer than in person-. It's a slightly deeper red, maybe a touch of cranberry in it and the tan is more a light brown but still looks great.Really does have very good arch support. Also got this in bronze, which is also darker in person.
