Like the others said, they take a few days to get used to due to the extra high arch. They are comfy and cute! I am so glad I found flip flops to wear with my plantar fascia problem!

I live in these flip flops. I would wear them year round if it weren't for the snow. I had plantar fasciitis and a heel spur and these shoes got me through until I finally had surgery. Still wear them now. If my arches hurt, I'll wear these for a day and I'm good as new.

If you have given up wearing flip flops because they usually have no arch support, these are the flip flops for you! I can wear these all day and not have issues with tired achy feet. They are comfy and have excellent arch support. I liked them so much, I got a pair for each of my daughters. I wanted to get some mules from this company, but they sold out so fast, I missed out. I hope they try their hand at some other styles (think loafers!). Thanks for such a wonderful summer shoe.

Yikes, scary, crazy high arches. I need and want good arch support but I need another option listed under the arch support section that says "Ridiculous arch support". Zappos.com however gets 10 stars for customer service!

I was blown away by Zappos service. For the second time in the last 6 months, I have ordered the same item in 2 different colors - 1 from Zappo's, and 1 from another site - only because Zappos did not have both colors. Both times the result was the same. Zappos charged the same price for the shoes, with no shipping charge, and the shoes arrived here at least a week sooner than the other pair where I had to pay a hefty shipping charge. Amazing!

I love these shoes! After foot pain, I had to get rid of all my sandals and flip-flops (flat shoes with no support). These are the first pair that are safe for me to wear. Great arch support! I have since bought another pair.

I have plantar fasciitis and I find these shoes very comfortable. I have three pairs and I wear one of them as slippers. They look nice also.

I didn't have faith that these would provide me some relief, especially after months of physical therapy and doctors, but I had no plantar fasciitis pain with these shoes. Honestly, I'm still waiting for the other shoe to fall (no pun intended).

I love my Orthaheel sandals. I have plantar fasciitis, but I love to wear flip flops in summer. These are so comfortable and the arch is amazing, it really helps. I love them so much I have them in 4 different colors.

Great shoes, really help with heel pain from PF, plan to try other styles. It's awesome to be able to wear a sandal that is actually good for your feet!

I have extremely wide feet 4E in tennis shoes and WW in dress shoes, so this shoe was a little too narrow for me. I also have high arches and found that this shoe offered good support for a thong, but the arch was not nearly as high as I would have liked. Why doesn't anyone offer wide sandals? Just because the toe box is not squeezing our feet doesn't mean it's okay for our feet to hang over the edges.

I just bought my second pair. They are a bit hard to get used to, but for flip flops, they give a lot of support for those who have fallen arches. I can walk with these all day!

The first flip flops that work for my problem feet! I have heel spurs and tend to pronate. The support is great.

Like this item. Nice support. I am glad I read the reviews and ordered my normal size 10 and a size smaller. I kept the size 9. They definitely run large.

I was reminded by Zappos to write this review, but it's really preliminary because I've developed a spinal nerve problem that is making standing erect and walking very painful, so all I can say at this point is that the Tide is well made, but even before my back problem flared up, I was thinking that the high arch support was too high for me, to the point beyond comfort. I was and am willing to keep trying once my back problem is (hopefully) solved. So for now this is just a preliminary report. I'm saying it gives Excellent arch support only because it is, as I said, very high. The true test will come later.

Not sure about these. I purchased the Fleur II this summer and wore them all the time. Did wonders for my plantar fasciitis so I've purchased other Orthaheel shoes. The Tides have such high and firm/hard arch support that I think it is causing my feet, ankles and knees to over-compensate. I have really high arches but this might be "too much shoe" for my situation. Not sure if I will keep these. Love the gold, though.

These shoes actually made a huge difference in my severe plantar fasciitis. It is not gone yet but it is severely diminished after wearing these 5 weeks. I keep them on all the time and keep them right next to my bed for night runs to the potty. In the middle of the night I often don't have time to stretch before I need to get to the bathroom. I will look.

I'm happy with these sandals. After bunion surgery, I'm supposed to wear custom orthotics at all times to maintain the result of the surgery...unless I'm wearing a shoe/sandal with a giant built-in arch support like these. Obviously won't be winning any style points with these, but they are cuter than most of the alternatives. I normally wear an 8 in all shoes and sandals, but in Orthaheel products I always wear a 7, even in closed shoes. I marked this as "felt a half-size larger than marked" in case someone else doesn't realize that Orthaheel tends to run big.

These flip-flops are pretty comfortable. I would have given them five stars for comfort except the fabric between the toes is a webbing that has edges that can be draw blood abrasive. (Like if your dog steps on the back of your shoe while you are walking). The footbed is to die for and worth five stars! As for style, they are not ugly.

I have a wide and curved foot and these shoes fit nicely. The band has stretched out a bit with wear and so they fit even more comfortably now. The sole is a bit firm for my taste. Although these are pretty good flip flops, for my next pair I will go back to the cushiony soled "Montrail" flip flops.

After foot reconstruction surgery, it was necessary to find a flip flop that would give me excellent arch support. This shoe does that. My only complaint would be that the shoes cause my feet to sweat a lot.

I really wanted to like these shoes. I normally wear a 9.5 and the 9 fit fine. A little on the narrow side for me, but not enough to ding the rating. I have high arches but ordered these to help with plantar fasciitis and tendonitis in my feet. The arch support was much too strong for me. I tried wearing it, hoping I would get used to it but it really made my arches sore. I ended up purchasing some Olukai Ohanas and those were a much better fit for me.

I have had a problem foot all summer and bought these praying that they would be comfortable and not make my foot hurt like all the other shoes I have bought recently. They are great! Had only one slight problem (which has since resolved itself) with the toe piece on my left foot rubbing between my toes. Just kept wearing them and it is now just fine. I normally wear a size 7-7.5 but got a size 6 and they fit perfectly.

Maybe I should've waited awhile before writing this review but I'm finding these flip flops intriguing! I have flat feet, plantar fasciitis every now & then, lower back pain and also heel spurs in my left heel so it's extremely hard for me to find comfortable shoes. After all the positive reviews on here, I decided to order a pair. While I'm not used to the high arch with these shoes, I do feel less strain in my lower back & my heel pain has gone away while wearing them. That, alone, has amazed me. I've had extremely bad heel pain for weeks now wearing "normal" flat flip flops & it was killing my feet! I've only been wearing these around the house to get used to them but so far so good. I'm still not completely comfortable yet (it's only been several hours) but I'm hopeful. I think this high arch will just take some getting used to as these shoes get worn in. Yes, I'd recommend them!
