I love having arch supports in my flip flops. The strap between the toes is a little uncomfortable at first, but other than that they are great.

These are the best flip flops out there. I have very flat feet and normally have to wear inserts to help position my feet properly. But who wants to wear heavy shoes with inserts in the summer! Thank goodness for these flip flops. They provide the perfect amount of arch support and help position my foot properly. I can walk for hours in these and not feel any pain. I just bought my second pair (first pair got a little ratty looking after over a year wearing them but I still wear them around the house). I have them in black and that nice touch of patent leather makes them little dressier so I can wear them on my commute to work. They are worth every penny! As for Zappos, I don't even bother shopping anywhere else for shoes. Can't beat the prices, the shipping or how unbelievably professional and honest the company is. Zappos should be the business model that all businesses aspire to!

I have wide feet and measure 7 1/2 in woman's size. I also have high arches, pronate, and wear orthotics with all my shoes and sneakers (so I was never able to wear flip-flops). I ordered the Tide in Bronze in a women's 7 and Kinetic unisex in Camel/Khaki in a women's 7,(men's 6). As far as the size, both flip-flops are exactly the same. The Tide is lighter (7 oz) than the Kinetic (9 oz)and feels softer. The arch in the Tide is also softer - the Kinetic feels like the arch is higher and the footbed seems firmer. The strap on the Kinetic is wider and is more casual, better for wearing with jeans. And the Tide seems to go better with casual skirts. So, I love both of them for different reasons and decided to keep both. And now I am going to order a pair in pink to wear as slippers in the house.

I suffer with heel pain if I don't wear shoes with proper arch supports, so flip flops were out. These give me the support I need - they take a little getting used to because of the awesome arch design so wear them just a few hours a day until you get used to them!

While I wear thong-style shoes often, these took a little longer to get used to the wide fabric between my toes. But, that said, these are now my go-to shoes for the summer. Knees stopped hurting, lower back is feeling better. I hate to say, but my Birkenstocks may have a new rival.

I suffer from plantar fasciitis and have been wearing these shoes for 3 weeks now and love them! I have not been able to wear sandals the past couple years, but these are comfortable and I don't have any pain with them.

I suffered from planter fascia a few years ago and was told never be barefoot. I purchased orthaheel flip flops and wore them all the time. I credit them for my relatively fast recovery. I wore them for three years before I needed to replace them with these and although I am not suffering any more, I still think these are the most comfortable summer/indoor shoes! I walk my dogs every day in them and have worn them walking all day at an amusement park and never tired!

These flip flops give excellent support to my high arch. When I first put them on they felt like there was a big lump under my arch. But after wearing them a couple of times it just felt good. Especially after I changed to my other flip flops, which I've now tossed away because of no support at all. I have 2 colors of these and plan to buy more colors. I purchased these in my normal shoe size of 8 and they fit perfectly. Sometimes with sandals I need a half size larger, but not with these. And Zappos service can't be topped.

Overall the quality of this flip flop is great. The arch support and heel cushion are excellent. The thong piece is a bit rough between the toes. I'm hoping its a matter of wearing it in.

Simply terrific. Orthaheel was recommended to me by my Sport Podiatrist and he never steers me wrong. I have Plantar Fasciitis and do not dare to walk barefoot or without arch support. I will buy more.

I love these sandals. I have been looking for years for a sandal with an arch such as these. You feel like your walking on air. I am flat footed and these sandals put my arch back where it should be with out causing any discomfort. They come true to size. I will be ordering more of these sandals.

I have a serious problem with plantar fasciitis and have not been able to wear anything but tennis shoes for months until I purchased these orthaheel flip flops. They do not seem to inflame my heel like other shoes. They look like every day flip flops. They are very comfortable!

This flip flop is comfortable and has helped my plantar fascia. The style is attractive and goes with everything.

In a word fabulous .I can't tell you how wonderful these are. I am so happy Zappos.com is now carrying this brand. For those of us with flat feet and pronation, they are sent from heaven. Sounds impossible to believe, however, I was suffering terribly with foot pain. No more. I own 3 pair of the Orthaheel Tide flip flops and 4 pair of their sandals. The comfort is unbelievable. Try a pair and you'll be hooked, too. I contacted Zappos.com's customer service and asked them to begin carrying this brand and voila and next thing I knew they had them. Thank you, thank you. Free shipping is great, the shoes are greater.

These are my shoes for the summer. I have been suffering with plantar fasciitis for awhile and these are one of the few shoes (?) that give it some relief. Last year when I toured Russia this was my shoe of choice. That's comfort!

This shoe feels great on my flat feet. Perfect amount of arch support. It almost feels like a foot massage!

I was pleasantly surprised with how comfortable these shoes are! I have forefoot pain and the sole of these flops (which looks hard in the picture) actually gives a little under my sore joints. Much better than my old Chacos. And the arch support is great! (I have high, flexible arches.) Only thing I'd change: I just wish the straps were a little tighter; I have a fairly thin foot and the straps don't do much to hold the shoe on. These will be great for the pool, though!

I was looking for a flip flop with arch support after struggling with plantar fasciitis, and I found it. They are a little heavier than your average flip flop but comfortable and supportive. A very plain looking shoe, what you see is what you get. I wear them all the time.

These sandals are good quality, and comfortable. They are also attractive on. I highly recommend this brand of sandal.

These sandals are extremely comfortable. I did receive blisters on the top of my feet when I first starting wearing these. However, this was only temporary. I would highly recommend these for anyone suffering from plantar fasciitis.

What a relief to find a shoe that hasn't made my plantar fasciitis worse and actually helps. These sandals are comfortable for shopping and everyday use. I plan to try other styles soon.

Love the arch support! My entire body feels aligned when I wear these. The video from the doctor who designed these is what influenced me to buy. What did I have to lose with Zappos' great return policy? I felt a little discomfort the first couple of days, especially in my knees, but I think my body just had to adjust to being correctly aligned. I looked in a full-length mirror while I compared various shoes and could really see and feel a difference. I agree with other reviews that the style is definitely for casual wear. Ordered size 6 and it was true to size. Maybe a tad wide but it's fine for bumming around the house or a quick run to the store. UPDATE: Had these for two weeks now. No discomfort at all. Now I feel uncomfortable when wearing anything else! I'll be looking for this brand in other styles.

These shoes have become my dress brown flops. Of course the orthaheelness of them is wonderful and have caused any leg/ankle or knee pain to evaporate. My only problem, and I have had it with several Orthaheel shoes, is that there is a size discrepancy between the two shoes with one being almost half a size larger. It hasn't been true in all cases, but in three pair I have ordered. Luckily, the great Zappos makes it easy to return.

These were nice but not as dressy as I had hoped. They just look very casual even with the metallic stripe. Super comfortable. I have a knee replacement and they were nice to walk in but I needed something more dressy.

With advancing age, I now need arch support. These basic black flip flops are great! The patent leather-like trim adds style. It runs a bit big, but would be great for the beach and pool. I didn't bother trying a size smaller because I basically just wear these around the house (as opposed to going bare feet). However, if I were to wear these going out and need to drive, I would like it smaller. For me, the best thing is my feet no longer hurt as much. I wear these every day.
