Was diagnosed with plantar fasciitis a few weeks ago, and my GP recommended that I do not go barefoot around our full tile & hardwood house. He also recommended Orthaheel flip flops for use in the house, as he also has PF and has a pair that have helped him. I put these on as soon as I get out of bed in the morning, after doing some PF stretches. My heel pain and ankle referral pain from PF went away within a week of wearing these and putting the Orthaheel inserts in my running shoes. I can comfortably wear my high heels again for a few hours at a time, so I'm grateful for these shoes. While not the most fashionable things out there, they're good enough for the house and for quick errands. They look to be well made, and they are very comfortable. The arch support felt awkward at first, but I adjusted to it quickly.

The best flip-flops ever! I bought my first pair of Orthaheel ff's 4.5 years ago (Wave) and have since purchased several pairs. My favorite by far are the "Tide" style. They fit my wider foot, provide excellent support, and are my main shoes spring through fall each year. I am looking forward to trying their sneakers, when there are more color options.

I love them so much I am going to order them in more colors. Yes they are pricey but so worth it if you have feet problems. I have multiple problems with my right foot and still have pain and discomfort 10 years after my surgery. It did take about a week for me to get used to them so be patient depending on how long you wear them whilst getting used to them. I did get a size smaller than I normally wear. I suffer from tarsel tunnel and plantar fasciitis.

Oh so love these flip flops. I have high arches, high instep, wide feet and wasn't sure I'd have luck with these. It took about a week to get my feet used to them. No more pain, I can't wait to buy more. They are a little long, I wear a 12 and I don't know if it's a unisex thing or maybe I can go down a size? But worth the money and will only wear Orthoheel from now on!

Great flip flop but runs small. Should have ordered a size up. Also a bit more casual than the old 'spirit" sandal. Wish they'd bring that back.

I am very pleased with these sandals and the shipping and free returns was great. I got another pair of sandals at the same time and didn't like, so I sent them back. It was very easy and refund did not take long to get back.

These are the most comfortable flip flops you'll find. The best arch support of any flip flop and perfect if you have plantar faciitis. Just wish they would do some simpler, most stylish designs.

I have a super high arch. These shoes fit it perfectly. I could wear them walking all day! The most comfortable shoes I own. I have these in two other colors and I plan to buy more till I have all the colors! Who knows? Maybe these are the only shoes I'll need. Haha.

This is a beautiful and comfortable shoe made with good quality materials. However, the arch is very high - perfect for me as I have plantar fasciitis. I don't know if someone without that problem would want it. It is very much similar to the orthotic insert from my physician. I was pleased to find this attractive option.

The comfort of the Tide thong can't be beat. I have 2 pr & wear them everyday. I have 2 other Orthoheel thongs, & though I'll admit the others are prettier, they lack the total comfort of the Tide thong. I haven't had any problems with plantar fasciitis since wearing these. Love these Tides!

I got a pair of Tides on the recommendation of a friend. She said they are the only shoes that she can wear without foot pain. It took me a while to get used to the extreme arch support (a week or so), but now that I have adjusted, I love these shoes. I noticed that the back pain that I had been experiencing after working in the kitchen for an hour, no longer happens if I am wearing these shoes. And the day that I was wearing my running shoes and my back started hurting, I put these on and the pain went away. That alone was worth the price to me. My only complaint is that I normally wear narrow shoes and these only come in medium. Narrow would be a better fit for me, but I am making these work. It is hard to find narrow shoes anymore.

Great arch support, even more than some other styles of Orthaheels I've tried. Seems like it will be a very durable shoe. My feet were a bit sore after the first time wearing them because they aren't used to having that much support but I got used to them after the next time and really like the support now. I usually wear an 8-8.5 and the 8 in these fit perfectly.

Love these flip-flops! These are my first Orthaheel purchase. They have great arch support and I've had no heel pain. Plan to try other styles.

These are Not Your Mother's or Your Daughter's Flip Flops. They actually give you better support than most shoes. I love these sandals. They have really helped with the back pain I used to have. I wear them everywhere all year round and have bought 3 pair.

My second pair of Orthaheel shoes and I love them. Comfortable for running around town, working in the yard and even one hour exercise walks. I'm sure I will be investing in another pair soon!

People who commented that it takes awhile to get used to the arch were right. I felt like my foot was sliding off the outside. They do, however, help with knee pain do to overpronation/flat feet. Flat flip-flops would put me in pain in 2 hours. These I can now wear all day and be pain-free. Style not the greatest but to be honest, that's not why I bought them. I do wish there were more styles to choose from though.

This is my 1st time buying Orthaheels. I'm usually a 7 1/2 in open sandals but an 8 in closed shoes, so should have gotten the 8. You never know until you try. However, the surprise was how quickly my order was received all the way out in Guam. Great job Zappos!..the Shoe Guamie.

Orthaheel, would you please make a stylish sandal in a narrow width? If they did, I would buy a pair in every color. I love the Tide that I have on, but my foot could swim in it. The arch support is wonderful for my planter fasciitis and the sole is very comfortable, however, it must be returned and there is no narrow to replace it with. I am very sorry about that.

Looks nice and provides great support. They do take some time to "wear in" or get accustomed to wearing though.

These were recommended to me by my doctor because of the built-in arch support. They feel a little different at first, but they have relieved my foot pain so much I feel like I've been let out of jail. Highly recommended!

I love these sandals! They were recommended to me and I would definitely recommed them. I like that they have a little shiny strip on the straps.

I almost feel silly saying this but these shoes are freakin' life changing. I wear orthotics for my heel pain and couldn't wear sandals. While I've never been a fan of flip flops, it was worth getting used to having something between my toes. These do everything my orthotics do but allow me to wear sandals again! I have recommended them to many people and just sent a pair to my mother-in-law. I do with some of the other styles had this type of footbed as the ones with the designs on them look kind of cheap and wear off. Love these shoes!

I love these shoes! I have plantar fasciitis and a bone spur and wearing these shoes feels like heaven. I would absolutely recommend them!

I have this shoe in another color and love the comfort of arch support in a flip flop! Shoe wears like iron and the contoured heel cup helps stability for an over pronation. I live in them!

Couldn't wear flip flops before his orthaheel tide. I have worn this all summer. Very comfortable with the orthotic and the toe bar is very soft. Worth every penny to get me into flip plops.
