If you suffer serious foot, knee and back pain Orthaheel is the answer. They have saved my life of pain trying to stand in line or shop etc. I wear the sandals ( all types) all summer and winter. I have the inserts for all running shoes. Some of the shoe styles differ in support so Zappos is the greatest place to try them all out. Thank you Zappos you are the best place to shop. Period.

I was having severe pain at the joint where the little toe connects to the foot. No shoes were comfortable and I was unable to walk barefoot across a hard floor! I love going barefoot and wearing flip flops, so this was awful! After much online research and a phone call to Zappos customer service, I picked the Orthaheel Tide. What a joy! You will have your foot, leg and hip properly aligned and feel so great that you will forget about your feet all day! P.S. I did see a podiatrist for the pain, but I still wear these shoes constantly!

My first Orthaheels and I love them. It takes one or two wearings to get used to the support, then you want to wear them all the time. And the sizing advice is very true - size down if you are between sizes. The arch support "pulls up" your foot, thereby "shortening" it. I wear between a 7.5 and 8 in "regular" shoes but a 7 fits perfectly.

This is my second pair of Tides, wanted black and could not find them on the site where I bought my first pair. I live in flip flops here in AZ and was going through a lot of foot and ankle pain each time other brands would wear out, usually in three months. These have lasted for six and still going and the pain has disappeared.

I LOVE these sandals! They are so comfortable I am still wearing them, even in 40 degree weather.

Wearing these as "house shoes" for now, but would have no qualms wearing these in public. Great arch support, and open-toe style prevents "toe squeeze". Feet feel really good after a long day in dress shoes. Highly recommend! As a side note, Zappos service one in a million...the only place I buy shoes!

Arch support is good but not overly aggressive. Felt initially that my feet were rolling to the outer edge but after I became used to the sandal, if felt comfortable. Helped reverse bad effects on my feet and arches from too much time this summer in conventional flip flops. Highly recommend. Zappos has a competitive price; not the cheapest but the best deal considering free shipping each way, so you can feel comfortable trying a size that you think will work but may not.

Love these. Worth the money to save my feel from pain while at the pool or around the house.

Because of fallen arches I need an excellent foot bed in my shoes and these are the Orthaheel Tide more than fits the bill. I had previously bought a pair for my grown daughter and her feelings were the same. Even though it's cold outside I wear them inside everyplace I go. We live in FL starting in Jan. so will probably order another color by then. Thanks for all your great products, Zappos, and for your fast delivery and return service!

I cannot live without these sandals. I have finally found relief from the pain of walking on my hardwood floors, walking around Disney, and even using the elliptical exercise equipment in my basement. I cannot say enough good things about this sandal, it has saved me. I found that when I exercise on the elliptical with my sneakers, I get the numb foot sensation that causes so many people to stop using an elliptical, with this sandal, I get the correct foot position and full range of foot motion and abracadabra, no numb foot! I have been wearing one pair in black for years and just broke down and bought another color, the black pair is still going strong! Great for the over-pronator. Thank you!

These were an absolute life saver. I was determined to not be in pain at my wedding, which meant no heels. But flat flip-flops were horrible for my plantar fasciitis, and left me in pain just as bad as if I were wearing heels. After recommendations from relatives, I decided to take a chance on these Tide flip-flops even though they didn't come in wide width, which I usually need. Turns out that with a day or two of breaking in, these fit my wide feet just fine. They were fantastic for my wedding day, and I got tons of compliments both on my style and my common sense in going with comfortable shoes! I usually wear a 7.5; the 7 in these fit perfectly. The "berry" color, while it looks like a true scarlet in the photos, is actually more of a mauve/dark rose. Also keep in mind that the footbed is a non-porous rubber/plastic; your feet will sweat, and if you're prone to stinky feet these will, er, adopt that funk. Nevertheless, I love these shoes; they're the most comfortable ones I own, by far!

Cannot believe I lived without this shoe. After wearing a cute pair of Keen sneakers on a long shopping trip, I came home with an aching foot - barely able to put pressure on the foot recovering from plantar fasciitis. I wore another pair of thongs this summer and these Tides were delivered last night. I put them on and immediately felt my foot shift to a healthy position and the pain started diminishing. I gave 5 stars for style because I purchased the Gold. The Pewter looked a little too "blah" for me. I wouldn't give all the colors 5 stars because this really is a heavier thong and can look somewhat bland.

I am completely thrilled with these. Mostly I'm barefoot around the house (okay, completely until I bought these). Now I wear these while home and am grateful knowing they correct my pronating.

I love these shoes. I have three pairs and they are the only flip flop that I can wear because I need the arch support. I wish they made other colors to match summer clothes. Maybe even some that might be a little dressy.

Had knee surgery 6 months ago and my legs hurt-my feet and back hurt from all the exercises I had to do. Ordered a pair of slippers and from then on I was sold. Am getting rid of all my Birkenstocks and Only wearing Orthoheels.

This is my 4th pair of these type sandals. I absolutely love them. They are very supportive in my arch areas, and could not walk the distances I do without them. I think they are reasonably priced for what they do and their sturdy construction. Love them!

Love them. Great support. Purchased in two sizes and sent what didn't fit back free, love that option! This is my every day shoe for summer.

I bought my first pair of Tide sandals 2 1/2 years ago. I was unable to walk to shop due to pain in my feet due to heel spurs and plantar fasciitis. These sandals have made my life so much better that I would recommend them to anyone suffering from foot pain and even to those who have no foot pain as they align your legs and feet. I have since purchased 4 more pair and will need to be buying another pair of them in the original color I bought as I have worn them every day since I bought them. I have worn them at the beach and even to walk in the surf. As others have mentioned I wear them around the house daily and every day in the summer. The only time I have another shoe on is when it gets cold outside and then I wear a mule with a slight heel or if going out to dinner or a wedding. I also have a pair of slip on Orthaheels for winter if no snow.

Can't live without these. These are expensive but worth every penny. Heel spur goes away after wearing these within a few days. Buy it if you have a problem with heel spur.

When I first received my sandals I was pleasantly surprised! They did not look like they had orthotics built into the sandal. However, it did take a couple of days getting used to them. But my legs and knees never ached after wearing them all day! My favorite go-to sandal, and very stylish. I will definitely order another pair next summer!

I love these sandals. I have a very high instep and an podiatrist had a custom orthotic made for me, which of course I can't wear with sandals. These sandals provided good arch and heel support and I find myself wearing them frequently because of comfort!

I love these flip flops! I have plantar fascitis, and I thought I wasn't going to be able to wear flip flops again. These offer so much arch support. They are extremely comfortable.

I have suffered from a serious case of plantar fasciitis for the last 20 years and in all the time, I have never found a pair of shoes that I could wear without my custom made orthotics. These flip-flops are amazing! I have just come home from a long day walking my kids all over town and I have no pain! The arch support is high. The foot bed is firm but oh so comfortable. They fit my narrow feet perfectly. I am excited about all their pretty styles and cannot wait to buy more! The Tide style is not as slick as the photos make it look. They are pretty plasticy looking.
