These flip flops are the first pair that offer solid arch support, look great, and generate lots of compliments. I have Achilles tendinitis and can wear these all day with no pain. Definitely my go-to summer shoe. Dreading winter!

These are flip-flops on steroids! They are actually therapeutic. I have plantars fasciitis and when it flares up, I generally need to tape my feet to make it through the day. I just returned from a trip, where I wore these Orthaheel Tides almost nonstop and never felt the need to tape my feet. I did lots of walking,(long trips through airport customs)and never had a problem. They actually make my feet feel better. I cannot recommend them highly enough. They look good, feel good and are reasonably priced. Plus, they come in a wealth of lovely colors.

This is my second pair of Tides and I love them! I never wore flip flops in the past because I have always needed arch support but I purchased them last year to wear in the house due to plantar faciaitis and achilles tendonitis. Now I wear them everywhere. The bronze and the champagne are both nice neutral colors. I found that this champagne pair feel softer, narrower, and the straps are not as loose, so I like them better. My daughter, who is pregnant, bought a pair for more support and though it took her a few days or more to get used to them, she likes them, too.

Great shoes, I have one other pair of Orthos and they are great for my feet. I don't wear flip flops, but wanted a pair, I don't care for the strap between toes, but not bad.

Love, love, love these flip flops! I have plantar fasciitis and these sandals have helped tremendously. They are so comfortable and supportive. I use them as my every day sandals and can walk alot in them with no problems of aching arches.

I bought this shoe at the end of last summer. I liked it a lot. But this summer I bought another pair in black and brown. I have tile floors and they are so comfortable - works for running errands and by the pool! The arch support is really great - I had to wear them a few times because they do make you more aware of the arch support - I have high arches. These are so much better than my Reefs and Sanuk! Treat your feet well and buy a pair!

I have plantar fasciitis and these flip flops are wonderful! I never thought I would be able to wear shoes like this again. They are so supportive and comfortable. I can wear them all day long.

Never thought I could ever wear flip flops again due to Plantar Fasciitis but a friend told me about the "Orthaheel brand"...love them!

This was my first purchase of Orthaheel flip flops. I have plantar fasciitis and low arches. These flip flops help with my foot pain tremendously. The firm arch felt great on my feet from the first minute I put them on. I ordered the black and love the patent leather in the strap. I normally wear an 8.5 shoe. I ordered a 9 and they fit well. I would highly recommend these flip flops for anyone looking for great arch support.

I love these sandals! I have plantar fasciitis and these sandals have helped me tremendously. I wore them practically the whole time on a 4 day cruise we took recently. I also wear them all the time at home. Very cute, too!

I saw these shoes on a shopping channel. They were being demonstrated by the Australian foot doctor who invented them. He was talking about how wearing flip flops cause a problem called pronator drift. I had the pain in my toes that he described, arches falling inward, pain in the knees and even lower back. Hemmed and hawed, didn't get them, then when I made a decision they were all gone so I came to Zappos to see if they carried them. My luck they did! He advised wearing them for an hour a day not so much to break them in, but to 'break' my legs and feet in. I started hearing little clicks and pops, not painful though, just 'old age crunching' or so I thought. These flip flops have done amazing things for my feet. My toes are back in alignment, nothing hurts, my knees don't hurt and surprise of all surprises, I actually had atrophied muscles up the front of my shin bones that made my shins look very boney - but now the muscle is built up and it's made a nice difference in the shape of my legs from my ankles to knee. To comment on the other person who said there is too much room from the toe post to the tip of the shoe and to order a smaller size. I would not do that based on my personal experience. I had the same thought that there was too much space there - but believe it or not, my toes are now flat like they're supposed to be, not in an almost curled shape as they had become from gripping those cheapo flip flops to keep them on my feet. Buy them in your normal size and after a few weeks of wearing you will see your toes are flat again and the shoe fits perfectly. And don't be afraid of the clicks and pops and noises, it is just your foot being cared for properly and straightening out the alignment of the rest of your leg. I love these. Going to take them to Las Vegas next week and wear them all day. When I come home (if I'm not broke!) I'll get some other colors. Well worth the money.

These sandals are awesome. I bought a pair for my daughter and I am also ordering a pair for myself. We both have plantar fasciitis and she said they are wonderful.

OK, so I have extremely flat feet. I am a woman, size 9, and have serious over-pronation. In regular flip flops, my feet and legs are pained and fatigued after an hour. These are legit the ONLY flip-flops that truly correct that pronation. There is no gimmick to these. My feet feel immensely better and all pain is virtually gone. It feels like a miracle even though it's just science. They are comfortable otherwise. The bottom doesn't have a whole lot of give, hence the need to really break them in around the house and on soft surfaces before wearing them frequently. The straps feel no different that other comfy sandals. I don't understand the bad reviews on comfortability unless they are simply the wrong size. They do need breaking in before wearing, which I am in the process of doing. I wish they weren't so expensive so I could buy multiple colors without feeling buyer's remorse.

I absolutely Love this sandal. I have recurrent plantar fasciitis. Orthoheel is the only brand of sandals that I have found to be Cute & Comfortable. I think have a total of 10 pairs. :)

My foot doctor has been trying to get me to wear Orthaheel sandals for months now. At my last visit she told me about Zappos and their amazing shipping policy, so I finally decided to try them. Thanks to the free return shipping policy, I went ahead and bought several styles in sizes 8 and 9 (I measure 8 1/2, and have read many reviews stating these run small). My first box of shoes arrived today, and the moment I put these on I thought I was in foot Heaven. Never in my wildest dreams did I think that shoes could be this comfortable. The 9 fits me perfectly, while the 8 was too small - it hit my arch wrong and was too tight across my foot. So, in my opinion, they run true to size. But the feeling of getting it right? Priceless. I'm now back on the site to order several more colors of the Tide. The other sandal that arrived today is the Ariel. It's cute, much cuter than this, but no where near as comfortable. The arch in the Ariel is flatter, and apparently I need to higher arch support that this sandal offers. If you need a sandal with excellent (aka high) arch support and overall cushioning, then this is the sandal to try. And with Zappos incredible return policy, you cannot go wrong. Thank you, Zappos!

I absolutely love, love, love these sandals. Put these on your feet and you feel like you can walk forever. Don't let the price scare you away, they are worth every penny!

Love the sandals. My feet and back already feel better. First few days there was an adjustment but now all is good.

I just love these sandals! They are so comfortable, supportive, totally cute and fashionable, at the same time! I would highly recommend them to anyone! Just wonderful! :)

A friend recommended these to me, and I am still thanking her. They give great support and are very comfortable. My one complaint was that the fabric in between the toes was rough and gave me a blister until it was worn a few times. If I buy another pair, I would put moleskin around the thong until it breaks in.

I have planter fasciitis and was looking for a pair of summer sandals that wouldn't cause more discomfort. I wear Fitflops a lot but now that I have been wearing my new Orthaheels, I think these are better! I bought them in a neutral color and wear them with everything. While they are not dressy, they can be worn with most shorts and capris. I plan to buy another pair soon.

I bought this flip flop because I have plantar fasciitis. It is awesome. I wear these everywhere! They feel better than tennis shoes when doing lots of walking.

These are so comfortable. I wore a full size smaller than my normal shoe size (a size 8 instead of a 9). They really do support my feet and arches without looking too "orthotic."

Just love this Orthaheel sandal! I have so many different problems with my feet and finding shoes, sandals and sneakers is a big issue for me. When I find something that works for me I stick with them. These felt really weird when I first put them on (because my arches are so bad) but I absolutely love them. So much that I went out and bought another pair.

These Orthaheel shoes have eliminated my mystery leg aches & hip pain. Mystery no more, I have high arches & am slowly replacing all my shoes with Orthaheel.

These are the best and most comfortable flip-flops, especially for people with flat feet who require strong arch support. I plan to buy them in several different colors. My only negative complaint is that they come with tiny little pointy bumps around the edges from the mold in which they are made. The pointy bumps irritated me, but once I realized that I could cut the bumps off with a pair of small sharp scissors, they felt perfect.
