The boots are impressively comfortable right out of the box. I have a wide forefoot and narrow heel, but these work. I took my normal 8.5 B, in the brown. It was very helpful to learn in one of the reviews that the heel in these is supposed be loose and one should go by the arch of the boot.

Love these. Very comfortable straight out of the box. I am a consistent 9 and these were true to size. Beautiful warm brown making it a nice neutral across many colors. Wanting to try them out with skirts/dresses as weather gets warm, but today pairing them with jeans and sweater for a casual city and outdoor look.

I bought these a half size larger than I normally would and they're perfect, especially if you want to add a shoe insert for greater comfort. However, they are incredibly comfortable as there are, even on the first day of wearing them. Amazing boot.

I really, really love these boots. There was virtually no break in period, and they were truly comfortable from day one. My only suggestion would be to wear high socks in the beginning because if you're not used to wearing boots they might chafe your skin. I also love the styling; I was never a fan of pointed toes cowboy boots and this somewhat rounded toe is perfect for me.

After six pairs of boots, these were worth the wait! I tried five other Ariat cowboy boots with the taller shaft, but found these to fit the best. The leather is quality and seems to be breaking in well, with character in small scratches. I have been wearing these boots with skinny jeans, dresses with tights, and leggings and tunics. Very happy with this purchase!

Must preface this review - I'm fortunate to have no problems with my feet. These twee booties fit like the cowboy boots they are i.e. the heel slips and they don't have padding in the bottom. But if you like traditional Western boots you won't be disappointed by these.

I am really happy with the fit and comfort of these boots. There was no "break in" period. I have an ALMOST narrow foot, but have not seen something available in a narrow width, which would probably be too narrow anyway Other western styles I've tried rubbed the back of my heel unless they laced up the front. I experimented with heel cushions and insoles just to see if I could improve them at all before wearing out of the house, but it wasn't necessary.

Wow...very well made. I was surprised at the quality -- never tried this brand before. It looks a little lighter than pictured but still not pink. Wide enough too wear a thick sock. My 16 year wears them all the time...I'm trying to get them back.

Finally found a boot that I love and that fits my feet! These boots are well made and will last for many years. A little stiff, but I understand that is normal. Heel also slips, but I understand that is normal too and as the boot adjusts to your foot, the slippage will go away. Thank you Zappos for giving me a boot that is affordable, well made and stylish.

The more rounded toe is very apparent, which didn't suit me, but these are better quality than some of the Ariats I have tried. They smell like good leather and are padded well. Be prepared to wear heavy socks that come up mid shin so the edge of the boot doesn't cut you on this style. Nice quality.

Really cool ankle boots, very comfortable. Well made. I have bone spurs in my heels and the low heel on these boots helps take the pressure off of my heels. So if you have bone spurs and plantar fasciitis, I totally recommend 'em!

I love these boots! They are so comfortable and I love the color! Every time I saw them on sale they were out of my size or out of stock. Then finally one day they came up and I jumped! So glad I did. A friend of mine also purchased these boots and she loves them too!

Cute boots with lots of support. I have high arches.They are super stylish, and sassy. I love the lower shaft length, and they are so comfortable I can wear them all day without orthotics.

These boots are wonderful, hardly any breaking in required. Each time I wear them they get softer. They are super cute too, I purchased the brown and they go with everything. I wear a size 9 but these ran larger, had to return for 8 1/2.

Oh my goodness, I cannot believe how comfortable these are. You can tell the difference with the gel insole. I am used to Frye boots, which I find really comfortable, but I think these may have beat out any other boots that I own. The quality is top notch - the leather is high quality and the boots are well-constructed. Some reviewers noted that these run large - I do not think they run large but I think you have to get used to the heel slip, which is typical in western boots and makes them feel larger. I wear a size 8 in other boots and ordered these in a size 8. I do not think that I would have enough room in the toes if I ordered a size down, so I am getting used to the heel slip and keeping them! I love these so much (I ordered them in black) that I am considering buying another pair in a different color!

I waited a while to write a review and I am glad that I did. I was disappointed when I first got these. The first day I wore them was to run errands and my feet were killing me. The boots were very tight across the instep and loose on the heel. I was sorry that I had already worn them out and could not return them. I wore them a couple more times for short errands and they relaxed a lot, so now I can wear them all day and they are pretty comfortable. They are snug so I do not recommend them if you need inserts, but they do have very good arch support. They are high quality look and are holding up very well.

I love the Ariat Billie's. Comfortable right out of the box. Because I have a wide foot, a high instep, and the narrow toe bed I ordered one size up (11) from my regular size. I was concerned with my wider foot that the boot would not fit well or be comfortable, but they are both.

Love these boots. At first they felt a bit sloppy and stiff. But after one day they were as comfy as I had owned them for years. Now I live in them and will until snow flies. Very handsome and well made. Not something we see so much anymore with shoes in my opinion. Very happy.

I get lots of compliments when I wear these boots. Western wear and wranglers aren't my thing, but these boots feel more authentic than what I found in department stores. For my job jeans are acceptable and they are my go to everyday for work. They fill out the lower cuff of jeans well, heal height to dresses up most casual outfits, the color goes with anything and the zipper makes them easy to get them on & off. I purchased the tan/pebble color which has darkened with each use to give them unique character and richness with time. The toe is not too pointy and not too stubby like some cowboy boots can be.

I was on a hunt for this season's black booties and of course checked Ariat first. Well, these aren't what I was looking for, but I got them and love them anyway! (got different black booties). the antique gray color and brown stitching let them go with lots of stuff. comfortable all day. I got a size up from dress shoes for thick socks.

This is a great boot. I'm typically a size 7.5 but a size 7 fitted well enough. Got the tan colour which is really nice with skinny jeans. Took them back to England with me and get loads of compliments.

Just got my Ariat Billie and as usual they feel like they were custom made for me. I have owned well over a dozen Ariats,mostly paddock boots.

Love these boots! I have large calves and so I often look for a shorter boot. The circumference is generous without being too big. They were instantly comfortable. I'd buy another pair in brown.
