Customer Reviews New Balance WW577 Hook and Loop

The sizing was fine. My problem is that I have hammer toes, so I need a high toe box. These shoes are painful for me to wear, as they do not provide enough space to accommodate my hammer toes, thereby creating painful friction. If not for that problem, I would keep them.

This is not a shoe for someone with a high arch. I could barely get the velcro to attach because there wasn't enough of it. Just small all over. It also looks like an old man's shoe!

These felt narrow. I ordered the regular width, which I normally wear, but they feel narrow. I should have listened to the reviews about the velcro straps not being long enough. I have another style of New Balance with the velcro straps and they fit fine. This is the second pair of New Balance shoes that I have had to return. I don't understand. Previously, New Balance has always been perfect...I am sending them back. I guess I am going to have to stop trying to order shoes online.

Much too large all around. Stiff and clunky feeling.

So sad to find my go to sneakers for use with an AFO have removed the D-ring and shortened the Velcro making it impossible to close. Also, if these shoes are for seniors, the button hole/velcro design does not work for old weak hands.

So sad to find that these shoes no longer accommodate my AFO orthotic. Velcro is too short. Also, removing the D-rings makes the shoes very difficult to fit properly on my "good foot."

I was dissatisfied because this the first time Zappos sent the wrong size. I order a 6 wide and received a 6 medium. I was notified that the 6 wide was in stocks, however when I tried to exchange the shoes, they were not available.

I cannot wear them because the strap was not long enough, so I returned Them

These are the worst "shoes" I have had on my feet since I can't remember when. They are stiff and ugly. I can't believe that New Balance made them. There is no hope that they will ever work on my feet. I will return them ASAP.

The velcro straps were way too short to fasten securely. A big disappointment, since I bought two pair of these a year and a half ago. They fit perfectly and were very comfortable to wear. Those came with extra long velcro straps, marked with guides for trimming to desired fit.

Velcro strap barely attached to other velcro piece. I read that same thing in other reviews, but since I have a narrow foot, thought they would fit.

Stiff and uncomfortable.
