I have purchased the same type of shoe since the year 1982, and have always been satisfied. I need a wide shoe, and have ALWAYS gotten a 4E width. This shoe now only has an option for a 2E width, no 4E available. It is most uncomfortable, and I hate the shoe, as it is so tight. I would never recommend this shoe, unless they bring back the 4E width option.

These shoes look like they're soft and cushy in the picture, but they're not. They're unyielding and plasticky. But the main problem for me? My foot steps right out in the back, rubs on my heel.

very unhappy with my shoes, and I will never again order on line. the picture on line looked similar to the great shoes I've had before, but the pair I received are nothing like the others. I am very disappointed.

Ordered shoes in Dec. Not gotten on January 11. Called. Was told my shoes were lost. Had already charged by bank account. Had not contacted me about the loss. Not happy with this. Not sure I will ever order form zappos again.

I bought this because of the many great reviews. Well, they're heavy and just feel stiff to me. I'm actually tired on my feet a lot more quicker wearing these than any other shoes I have. Being a poor nursing student, I have to stick with these until I save up for another pair.

I am very disappointed with this shoe. I could not fasten the velcro strap properly across my foot. (And I can with other shoes, same size.) Straps kept popping open as I walked. Won't order New Balance again!

Just received my New Balance Walker and it is just great. The fit is good and it has a nice wide under sole that helps seniors. The strap could be a bit longer but otherwise I would recommend this made in the USA sneaker.

I ordered these for my 88 year old mom, and they are to tight. I had bought her a paid in white in the exact same size but the black are just to tight, maybe the tag is wrong.
