Customer Reviews New Balance WW577 Hook and Loop

I usually wear a regular size in width for a shoe but when I ordered the normal it was very tight and had to change them for a wides. I get Velcro straps because of back problems it is difficult for me to tie sneakers. The straps on the wide barely reach, not long enough. I will make due because I don't want another return but don't think I would buy more of them because of this.

I have a pair of New Balance walking shoes that I purchased in the summer that fit well. The shoes I ordered were the same size, but hurt my feet because they were too narrow. I am VERY disappointed and returned them.

Great shoe, pretty comfortable. I do wish I had bought EE instead of D - it's a bit difficult to fasten the straps. Next time.

Running shoes are great quality and extremely comfortable. They came at home in 3 days and fit perfectly. On my feet all day long and these shoes are perfect.

Although I ordered wide and the shoe fit beautifully, the Velcro closure strap was too short for my foot. At my age, sometimes my feet swell and I wish the Velcro strap was a bit longer. I had to send the shoes back.

I had to return the shoes as the were to small and I had reservations on the style once I saw them. I was measured in a shoe store as a size 5- med. so that what I ordered, but they were not close to fitting me. I have decided to go to the store let them measure me and order through them rather than order through you and have to send them back. I figure I have a better chance at getting it right the first time. My Husband has worn New Balance for years and is well satisfied, this would have been my first try for your shoes. The rating is based on the fact that my measured size and the shoe size was so far off ???

My foot doctor did recommend this shoe. I told him I have trouble with a shoe with a tongue. I was told to try the Velcro closing instead of the ties. I decided to try them and immediately my foot hurt with the tongue. I need a tongueless shoe. I wish you offered one

Budget is an issue but I also find this model fits me best out of all the SL2 last shoes in NB I have been able to try. It does seem to fit just a bit narrower than the 576 did. Ended up going up a half-size recently. I'd love it if this shoe came in other colors. One thing I dislike is the cushion wears out so fast. I have to replace them every 3 months or I have knee pain. If I have two pairs, wearing them every other day, I can maybe get 4 months out of one pair. The current pair I've been wearing every day for about a month and I can feel that the cushion is already compacted. If I could buy a new pair of these shoes every month I would ! Slowly trying to try out other SL2 lasts of more expensive models to see if the cushion will last longer.

These Tennis Shoes feel wonderful! They provide support and comfort! The wide size is great for the feet!

I have been having a problem with swollen feet/ankles, and the tops of my feet, so these are now about the only shoes I can wear. They are not just roomy in the base, but the tongue allows my feet to go in easily, thank goodness! Very comfy too.

Very pleased with my new walking sneakers... they are very comfortable and make my dog walking easier.

Great fit for my feet (altho the 576 was slightly better in the toebox - this one has felt a bit narrower) but they only last 3 months for me before the cushion wears out and I have to replace them.

I found the tongue to be too wide and the straps to be too short... was very disappointed. I had high hopes for these shoes
