I bought these sneakers as a gift for my mom. She loves them. She has purchased these sneakers for herself in the past and wanted a new pair. She has very wide feet and gets the best fit with this sneaker. I am sure she or I will continue to purchase more New Balance products in the future.

I use them in the winter when the road is wet but no deep snow. I use them for walking dogs. This is my second pair. They wear well. Also good for arthritic hands.

The problem is that the Velcro tabs are not sewn in correctly and are too short. I wear these shoes and the Velcro tab pops off & releases. The tab is short AND loops on the tab do not properly meet the hooks on the tab to lie flat. So, nice shoes but bad orientation of the Velcro tabs.

A narrow width is NOT an A or a AA, it is a AAA. These shoes were marked narrow and were very much wider than a narrow. Returned

The pile was very slippery, and the narrow strap across the top did not hold my foot in the slipper. It slipped sideways off the slipper. Not safe. With the height of the sole, it could result in a fall or injury.

I have shallow, bony feet and a bunion, so look for something with a wide toe box and flexible leather. The shoe seemed sturdy and well-made. Not flexible enough to meet my needs. The straps which others reported too short, did pull across my feet with an extra tug. The sole made noise on a hardwood floor.

It's so hard to find a good walking shoe in this category. Most orthopedic shoes are fit for pronators. This shoe is perfect for my high arches (but I do add a small arch insert) and my supination. This white pair actually looks stylish with my skinny jeans. But I wore them to work (RN in hospital), because they felt so great. Now I need another pair. Finally. Perfect shoe for supination with a tailor's bunion. Grateful for the wide version!

Returned one pair only to get the 2nd pair with the same defect. On the right shoe the tongue is sewn as to leaving over a 1/2 inch going down into the toe area making the shoe unwearable.

I loved how they felt, not tight..just right. Loved the weight...not heavy, but weighted enough to feel solid and well made. BUT...the velcro straps were at an odd angle. I know I have a high instep, but geesh. Also, the top strap is just way too short and the bottom one did not need to be as long. If they are cutting short to save on the cost of making the shoe, put that extra length that is on the bottom strap back on the one at the top. I have never worn a wide shoe, and any I tried seemed to be big enough to swim in. Wish there was a resolution to this. As it is, it’s a deal breaker.
