Brick hard, absolutely no give. I'm not sure they are even leather. Toe box is not roomy, either.

i bought the new balance shoes for my husband. he is very fussy and he loves the shoes. grat color and perfit fit!

I returned this shoe because the fit wasn't comfortable on my feet. It was too stiff and both the tongue and heel came up too high and rubbed.

I ordered a 9W, and while this shoe fits and is lightweight, I gave it 3 stars because only the right shoe is comfortable. Both shoes have a seam on the inside of the upper that runs down to the arch; however, in the left shoe, this seam creates a large bump just above the sole that presses uncomfortably on the back of my arch where it comes down to join the front of my heel pad. The right shoe has a similar bump, but it is much smaller. I will decide this afternoon whether to exchange them for another pair - hoping to get both of them without the large bump - or just get a refund.

On my left foot while walking I could feel like something is pressing in just under the ankle bone. It seems to be getting better the more I walk.

These are not the same as the sneakers I purchased a while ago. They are the same style and model but the straps are much shorter and I have a high arch which makes it hard to close. The short straps also allows my slacks to catch on the Velcro that is nit covered.

The greatest leather walking shoe out there. Bought these shoes from another company with the velcro. The tonque of the other shoes peeled. I have these saame shoes that I bought at least 4 years ago& they are still wearable but not looking as nice. They are so comfortable. Anyone that has not bought New Balance shoes, I would suggest you try them. Well built & wide sizes. I Love,love my NewBalance shoes. The people that I spoke to our just wonderful!! Service is great.One of the great companies in our Country!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My only complaint is they don't attach the loops to the shoe with elastic as my New Balance #813 do.

They're much smaller, squeak like crazy while walking and cheaply made. To say I'm disappointed is an understatement! I've been wearing New Balance sneakers for over 25 years and have seen and felt the steady decline in quality over the years. Shame on you for compromising your usual high quality sneakers!

I love this shoe. It give great support but is comfy on the inside. I only wish that it came in more colors than black and white,.

Personal, daily use -have used for years. Order new pair when current pair is wearing out. Excellent quality product.

This is a walking shoe, however, it is the first pair of shoes in 15 years that I have ever been dissatisfied with from New Balance! Very uncomfortable! I

I use it in my business building. I work with cats and need something comfortable. I wear it while working there and love it.

Before I brought my feet hurting now my feet feels great.

They are exactly what i needed and the size fit perfectly

I bought this pair as work shoes on my property. The fit is good but the left foot is a wee bit narrow. I loosened the velcro strap a bit more on that shoe. We'll see how this pair holds up.

A nice looking and very comfortable shoe. Light weight and easy slip on/off. I have bought multiple pairs in different colors.

I thought I purchased men's hook and loop? In addition , the Velcro strap is thinner and not as long and when crossing feet when sitting - the Velcro on one shoe catches on the opposite shoe and holds together- aggravating!!!!

Easy to put on. Comfortable too. I like that you have a choice of three colors to choose from. I ordered the tan which are neutral but my next pair will definitely be the black ones. I also appreciate the choice of widths available.

Not only do I love the walking shoes, the customer service is excellent. I recently ordered shoes that I never saw. I don't know if they were stolen off my porch, or if they just never made it. Either way, I called New Balance and they didn't question anything. They refunded my money and put in a new order for my shoes. I really appreciate the fact that someone (or a company) took me at my word. I am a teacher and would not be able to afford another pair of shoes in time for a charity walk I am involved in. Thank you New Balance for being so accommodating!

Walk regularly with shoe for over 10,000 steps per day. Alternate with two pairs of New Balance shoes. Nice to have large sizes too in narrow. Rosd
