Super comfortable shoe right off the bat....but the Velcro straps were too short to reach across the shoe, leaving the rough edges of exposed Velcro exposed on one side of the shoe. That section would both collect fuz, etc. and snag on the fabric of my clothing. So I did not buy them. But this seems like a simple fix. I would definitely buy them if this issue were fixed.

These shoes are extremely comfortable for city walking. They didn't require any breaking in at all. They were comfortable from the first time I wore them.

This is a great shoe, and we are most happy with the product! The problem was the shopping experience. The shoe showed a visual of a Velcro (hook and loop) closure. There were several color choices by clicking on a box. What I did not realize was that as I clicked a color box, some showed as a laced closure instead. In my view, the laced version and the Velcro version should have 2 separate pages. Unfortunately we had to go through the hassle of returning one when it arrived as it was not the closure we believed we had ordered.

The shoe was comfortable but the strap was to short. I have a high instep so it didn't work for me.

Great shoe, pretty comfortable. I do wish I had bought EE instead of D - it's a bit difficult to fasten the straps. Next time.

Nice cushioning but less support than I wanted. The shape fit my foot better than the New Balance 840v4, with minimal heel slippage. The tongue is very stiff and dug into my ankle a bit, but that would probably get better with wear.

I have worn this particular brand and sneaker for several years and always come back to this particular style after having tried other brands. This style remains consistent in quality and fit.

Budget is an issue but I also find this model fits me best out of all the SL2 last shoes in NB I have been able to try. It does seem to fit just a bit narrower than the 576 did. Ended up going up a half-size recently. I'd love it if this shoe came in other colors. One thing I dislike is the cushion wears out so fast. I have to replace them every 3 months or I have knee pain. If I have two pairs, wearing them every other day, I can maybe get 4 months out of one pair. The current pair I've been wearing every day for about a month and I can feel that the cushion is already compacted. If I could buy a new pair of these shoes every month I would ! Slowly trying to try out other SL2 lasts of more expensive models to see if the cushion will last longer.

I'm not really liking them. Maybe I just need to break them in still, maybe to early to tell. I find them heavy & too thick around the ankle. But then again i need that for stability.

I love New Balance shoes and wear my other five pairs year round. However, the thick tongue on the 577 was too bulky and the seam on the inside of it rubbed on the top of my foot. I returned these and bought a different style instead. Easy return.

When I wear them, I feel like I'm bringing back the eighties, fashion-wise. They are super comfortable. But didn't seem to have held their shape very well. I've had them only a couple of months and already feel like they're less supportive and need to be replaced.

These shoes are very comfortable, but they are bulky looking. There must be a lot of padding, and they are very comfortable. However, they really make my feet look big. I decided to keep them, but I do feel self conscious wearing them.

The fit and size was very comfortable. The shoe gave good support. The rounded toe did not pinch my toes and does not look terribly boxy. I am pleased with this shoe

Fit and size were good, the only thing I don't like about these shoes is you have to get the tongue in just the right place, so it doesn't "go offsides". My experience when that happens it's painful
I bought a size ten and they seem to fit well.

Love this shoe. I've used it for years. As I get older, I love the convenience of the hook and loop. It beats bending over to tie shoe laces! Thanks for a wonderful shoe!

It is a very serviceable shoe but not stylish, of course. I have difficulty wearing lace up shoes because of fat lower legs and ankles but needed a pair for the winter. Wear slip on shoes most of the time. The leather doesn't seem to be a very nice quality but the shoe is as comfortable for me as I can expect, having leg problems, including circulation deficiencies as well as two total knee replacements.
