These are not sexy shoes, but they feel terrific. I have plantar fasciitis and must wear some kind of orthotic. These shoes accommodate an orthotic plus cushion the bottoms of my feet. I have a trip scheduled with lots of walking and feel sure these shoes will provide support and comfort.

I have plantar fasciitis and am able to comfortably wear this shoe with an insert. The toe area is roomy and the heel is not tight or rigid to irritate. Have tried many, many walking shoes, only this one allows me stand without pain.

I am very happy with this shoe as it has a spacious toe box - and it is offered at a very reasonable price. I have purchased many different brand shoes over the past few years trying to find shoes with a toe box that accommodates my feet, and these do just that. Additionally, I am able to wear my orthotics inWashington them, and the shoes are firm enough to provide good balance.

This is the only shoe I wear for walking. I like the wide box toe and the narrow heel. As soon as they are wearing out I order another in the same size and style. I hope this model is never discontinued.

This is my second pair of this hook & loop shoe. My actual narrow shoe size is Double AA & AAAA at the ankle and these shoes are fitting me comfortably, I also wear custom made orthotics & NB is accurate fit in all seasons, thick socks or foot-socks. They were also wonderful for my late husband, also narrow A-normal heel, 260#, and he also required a leg brace & the shoes held up very well. We preferred NB because they are "Made in America".

I've been buying these shoes since they came out. I love them. You can hardly find solid white sneakers anymore. I'm 60 years old and walking around in purple or lime green neon shoes looks ridiculous.

These fit and feel good right out of the box every time. They're very durable and a very good value. But honestly New Balance, would it kill you to offer this and something other than Blinding White or Dress-Socks-with-shorts-black? Even a nice Day Brown would be welcomed.

I bought this shoe for relative who has balance issues and tender feet. She needs arch support, also, so I added a Zappos arch support for athletic shoes. Nice wide toe box, no crowding of toes. She wears with athletic socks and finds them very comfortable. She wears them most days, all day.

A perfect fit for my wide, flat feet! Supportive even without orthotics, but accommodates the inserts easily when I choose to use them. The hook and loop feature, to my surprise and pleasure, holds even better than laces.
I definitely recommend these shoes. For my feet the 577 walking shoe is perfect; I have a pair in each available color.

Overall I love New Balance. This pair was way too tight especially in the width so I returned them. I ended getting the same size New Balance (although a different style) from Kohl's and they fit perfectly. But I still love Zappo's and New Balance.

Bought these sneakers for an 80+year old friend. She absolutely loved them. She has a narrow foot which makes it difficult to find proper fitting shoes but these were perfect. Her daughter reported Mom is happy and so is she!
