I bought these for my 90 yo mother who loves these because they are comfortable, they wear well and are sturdy to give her the confidence in her movement when walking.

These have been my standard walking shoes for at least 15 years! The aren't glamorous, but they give great support and keep not only my feet but also my 75-year-old knees and hips happy. I average at least 3-4 miles of walking a day, so I do need to replace the shoes from time to time. I can always find them at Zappos.

I'll be keeping these shoes. They are my go to show for just about everything. It's a clean, plain shoe that fits my foot well. The arch support isn't perfect, but a new insole will take care of that issue.

These are the best fitting walking shoes I have had in a very long time. Put them on and went walking, no problem at all. I kept them on all day! I plan to get another pair in January. Great shoes and they are made in America!!!!

These are well-made, well-fitting shoes made in USA. Th ey are perfectly comfortable right out of the box. They come in Narrow width, yay! I’m on my second pair.

This has been my go-to walking shoe for several years, and I still like it. It's comfortable, and the wide width fits my problem feet well (wide foot plus a bunion). But this time around, I decided to replace my worn-out pair with another New Balance shoe just to change things up a bit. Am returning this pair, but keeping the New Balance WW840V2 pair. Thanks Zappos for making this process easy :)

I think I like these shoes very much. I bought them for work . I am on my feet a lot and by the end of the day I wasn’t eager to take them off as soon as I got home. That says much about the comfort and support the shoes gave me.

I live in Florida and these shoes are too heavy for our temperature.

ORDERED 10 1/2 MY NORMAL SIZW. TOO BIG. RETURNED FOR SIZE 10 PERFECT FIT. BOUGHY THESE FOR MY WIFE WHO HAS ALWAYS WORN RUNNING SNEAKERS. SHE'S 71 AND THIS WALKING SNEAKER IS MUCH SAFER FOR HER .

My 4th pair of these shoes. I wear them to work 40+ hrs a week. ( I walk 8-14 miles a day in them ) I have a high arch. I use an orthotic insole and this shoe allows me to use my sole insert. I would recommend buying the leather one not the canvas one. The leather one last longer.

These are my daily walking shoes. I’m a repeat buyer, not sure how many pairs I’ve purchased in the past few years. I have a wide foot with a narrow heal and these shoes work great. I do use the extra eyelets - if you don’t know how look it up as it really keeps the shoe from slipping if you have narrow heals. I use custom orthotics without any problems (removed the insole). Before getting the orthotics, I used a 1/4 inch heal lift again without problems. I sometimes wear a neoprene ankle brace on my left foot - it works but I need to be careful putting on my shoe to make sure the brace is confortable.

My doctor recommended NB shoes many years ago, as they run wide. I always come back to WW577 because they are perfect for my wide feet, and help my bunions and toes. I love Zappos because you can always return free shipping if they don't fit. Saves time & money going from store to store. Best shoes, best shoe company.

I purchase these shoes for work. I need a pair of black sneakers that would look professional enough for office work but could still hold my orthotic. I ask my boss for permission to were sneakers since it violates the dress code. These sneakers are comfortable and fit my orthotic comfortably. They work well for work and I don't think that many people notice I'm wearing sneakers. They are certainly not pretty, rather ugly actually but they do the job.

These are my go-to shoes, wearing New Balance since the middle 1970's, and wearing every day, all day long since 1992. I buy two pairs each time so I can rotate the wearing. Have been buying this model for a number of years since it came out. So glad New Balance continues to make them, rather than discontinuing the model after some years. I buy black to wear during the cooler months and white for the summer months. Feels comfortable right out of the box, no break-in needed. Great that it comes in a variety of lengths and widths, as my feet have changed with aging. Good support without feeling heavy and "lug-ish." Can't go wrong with New Balance for the quality and care, and this model in particular.
