I was disappointed when these arrived... based on the picture during purchase, I assumed a strap was at the back heel as well. This is one of the reasons I purchased from REEF. My 5 yo has large feet, size 13, he is still mastering the flip flop and the back strap is added safety, comfort and stability.

The picture shows that it will have a strap on the heel to help them stay on, but the ones I received do not have a heel strap. My 4 year old can't keep flip flops on his feet without the strap. All kids flip flops should have that strap in my opinion - especially if your child likes to run and play.

Cute but disappointed that the size I received (size 13 little kids) did not have the backstrap. Because of that, I will be returning.

The little kid sizes do NOT have back straps. I tried two different colors. Both had to be returned.

We have always loved Reef. They are/were the only flip flops my son will wear because of the back strap. I looked under "features" and even when I had our size checked, it still said "includes back strap". But no back strap is included. I did not see anywhere that no back strap is included for bigger sizes. This is dissapointing! My son just turned 4 and still needs the strap, especially with wet feet at the pool!

These flip flops in the photo (that I purchased) have a strap on the back. The ones I received did NOT. Because of the strap missing my 4 year old has problems keeping them on his feet. I specifically searched for flip flops with a strap so was very disappointed to see a different product than I ordered. I messaged customer service over a week ago but have yet to hear back.

The shoes were great except I missed the part about the detachable strap on sizes up to 9/10. Please reconsider this as there are a lot of 3 and 4 year olds with bigger feet.

We ordered these flip flops for our son under the impression that they would arrive with the strap to help them stay on his feet. But when the package arrived, there was no strap. Our son was upset when we told him that we would have to return his new flip flops because the company didn't put the strap on the back like they advertised. The only reason we ordered from the reef.com was because we couldn't find any flip flops in stores that had a strap in his size. Makes me question if I can trust this company, and I will most likely not order from your website again and will make sure to let friends know as well the false advertising presented to consumers.
