I was super happy to find the Teva Toachi2 in my size and color I wanted , especially because I live in Colorado and the selection here is the fall is low and I needed water sandals for an upcoming trip to Belize where I will be kayaking, biking, snorkeling and romping through caves and jungle. The Toachi 2 will be perfect for all those activites. I have a high arch, thin foor pads and the Toachi fits nicely and is super comfortable. I ordered a half size up. I usually order a 7 in sandals and I ordered a 7.5 . My foot veers a little to the outside of the footbed in the Toachi and I have a normal shaped foot with a slight outer pronation when I walk. My last pair of amfibious Teva's fit like this too, but a half size up solved that for me. I bought a pair five years ago and this pair replaces those. My other flip flop and Tevas with the cork sole fits perfectly.

I traded up from old Teradactyl sandals. Replacing the velcro with snap on ankle strap is a big convenience feature. This is my third pair of Toachi. they have become my primary footwear, except in winter. In summer trips to Europe, they are the only shoes I take. With socks, they pass at even dressy restaurants, and the next day you go hiking in them. I have one narrow and one medium width foot, and this is the rare shoe that will give me same fit on both due to adjustable straps. They seem to hold up very well: my first pair is still going strong after several years heavy use.

A great all around/every day sandal. Very comfortable and nice colors.

my son took these on two outdward bpound expeditions and they were his everyday shoes (except when there was more than 6inches of snow on the ground)imbetween. I finally bought him a new pair and he wore them with pants, a dress shirt and a tie to the theatre that night!

I don't like sandals with all Velcro. This product has buckles and that is what I wanted.

Hiking, biking, walking, running, jumping,

overall the footprint is too small. the sole should be more like the teva pro which should be brought back anyway.

These are my everyday footwear. Very comfortable with shock pad & Mush infused sole. I personally would prefer a Velcro closure strap over the plastic buckle. All this being said, I still feel that wearing Teva sandals is the next best thing to going barefoot.

I had tried 2 other sandles. Both hurt me feet in some way. I have worn these sandles for several weeks now. No hurting feet from the "get go."

This is my first pair of Toachi 2's. I find them to be comfortable enough but no where near as comfortable as the last 2 pair of my Open Toachis. The Toachi 2's are like a cheap pair of the Open Toachis. That being said, the Toachi 2's are still a comfortable sandal, fully adjustable, and I was able to wear them for hours of walking while on vacation just days after getting them. I would like to see more of an arch support as in the Open Toachi. However, I find that as shoes are being cheapened the arch support and good quality material are being let go. I have plantar faciitis and the Open Toachi saved many a day for me. The Toachi 2 will not. For someone that doesn't need as much arch support as me and doesn't know the difference in the quality between the two Toachi sandals this is the perfect casual sandal.

I wear these (and other Tevas) every day. At work, home, woods, streams, everywhere I can get away with it.

The Toachi is the best walking sandal I've owned in recent years. However, Teva, please, please, please make a women's Toachi with covered toes like you offered a couple of years ago. I've worn through the soles of mine, and need new ones with toe protection. I can't tell you how many times these have saved my toes from disasters.

I returned this product as the straps were too narrow and bothered my big toe. Need wider softer material under velcro starps. I did purchase the leather omniums with the enclosed toe and so far I am very happy with them. I really will miss my 4, ?5 year old hiking sandal that had the funcky closed toe and excellent strap support and cushioning. BRING IT BACK, please!

I've been wearing Tevas for more than 15 years. This is the first time I've ordered the Taochi 2's. I have size 13's and narrow feet. I was concerned they would be too short, as per other comments. I found this to be true, but just adjusted the back strap to let my foot slide back further. The width is also great for my feet. Lastly, I love the ridge-cut pattern on the part of the sandal that my feet rest on. VERY comfortable and almost massaging when I walk. Kinda cool and nice surprise.

I have now used these for walking decent distances and in the water, and have no complaints. They are quite comfortable, and I would probably wear them more often if they were a bit dressier. Looking forward to trying them in Maui this fall!

Great for hiking with good traction

I love the closure on the main strap--once you have the strap adjusted for length you don't need to use the Velcro. The front strap, the one over the base of the toes, is a bit short. When adjusted properly for me only about an inch of the Velcro strips are in contact with each other. I am a woman, with wide feet. The men's size 7 is perfect. (In women's sizes I wear a 9 wide.)

Easy to be in these Tevas

I bought this sandal as I thought it had good arch support and a good heel cup based on some of the reviews. There was not enough of either for my sad feet. However, I wore these sandals everyday on an 8-day family trip and found them very comfortable. My knees and feet could have used more support but I am still wearing them; and still looking for more support in perhaps another style. I have worn Teva's for years.
