Nice sandal for hiking/camping, not very appealing to the eye, could have better colorway

Overall the product is great for outdoor activities.

There is no downside to this sandal. Very pleased that Teva still has them in production. Wear them on streets and sidewalks, over grass, over rough terrain in the woods, going over pebbles and rocks to get into quarry to swim. I take them off and leave them on a ledge while swimming - they're too buoyant to swim with. If you have trouble swimming, they'll keep you afloat! Can walk many miles in this sandal. I keep 4 different colors for dressing up, going out, going to church, that sort of thing. And more pairs (mostly Raven) for roughing it. This is the perfect sandal, worn all summer long almost exclusively. Concerned Teva would discontinue, stocked up and now own nine pairs! Hope they keep making this sandal.

I wore these on the very first day to a music festival. The rubber gets a bit hot in the blazing sun, but overall, this is a very comfortable shoe!

I recently decided to upgrade to these sandals due to the quick release buckles, arch support, heal padding, and water drain feature. I haven't had them long enough to form an opinion on durability and longevity but so far so good. The sandals are extremely comfortable, provide excellent cushioning while also providing great arch support. The water drain features is about as good as advertised. There's a little noise for a few minutes until the sole and your foot dries. There is no squishing from water being trapped in the sole of the sandal - ever! Biggest room for improvement is in the buckles. That feature is part of the reason I purchased this model and I spend a good amount of time on a Michigan beach in the summer. Unfortunately the fine sand gets into the buckles and stops them from releasing - or locking after you do get them out. Great sandal, buckles are probably fine if around more coarse sand like the Pacific coast, high desert, etc. I won't return these because of the buckles but certainly wish they didn't get stuck after a day at the beach.

Had the original Toachi for 3 years until my dog chewed the strap clip. Was the best pair of sandels I ever owned. This new version is well designed and very comfortable. Although, I prefer the sole of the original as it molded to my feet excellent. The new sole feels rather stiff and the straps have less cushion. Overall, still a very durable shoe and Teva's customer service is top notch. Delivery was quicker than promised. Pricey, but if they last several years, its worth it in my opinion. I like to wear my sandels in the water at the beach and they hold up very well to the salt water.

This product does what I need for it to do for me and that is being comfortable and breath the way a sandal should breath. Thank you, Steve

These are perfect for my active 6 year old. I looked all over for a practical sandal that protects the toes. They are a good alternative for sneakers in hot weather. These fit my daughters narrow feet perfect!

Would be a 5 if they still had the toe. I have no idea why Teva got rid of the toe on this shoe. I have backpacked miles and miles in them. Kick a rick no big deal and it helped keep the little pebbles out. Plus at a river crossing you just charge on.

I have trouble getting my feet through the neoprene opening of the more shoe-like sandals, but want closed toe. The old version of this sandal was perfect. Now there is nothing Teva makes that I can wear.

I use the Toachi for in house foot comfort. The 2 older pairs I own are 3/4 of an inch wider thus are more comfortable. I won't purchase another pair until I know they will be wider.

I love wearing mine out and about but also while doing some minor hiking. I have yet to test their durability in water but I assume they should hold up just fine.

I bought the shoes for walking while in Arizona. Regular walking shoes were just too darn hot to wear. The Toachi 2 are great. The support is good, I like the straps with Velcro and snap clips, they are easy on, easy off. They held firmly while walking down steep, hilly streets, no slipping. I wore them on the beach, in the lake and on the streets. They look great to wear for causal wear. I will continue to purchase Teva products and have already told my friends and family how much I like the sandals.

I would keep them on all the time if work would allow it.

Light Weight, Comfortable, Stylish

hope the sole stays glued on well. i've had to silicone adhesive several soles onto my previous teva's. they still run for another year, maybe. i have had 20 pairs of teva's over 30 years, easily. this is a good boating sandal. i'm in salt water 3 days a week.
