I love this shoe. I ordered a 7 1/2 and it seemed only a little too long, so I wasn't sure if I should try breaking them in or order a size down. (I typically wear either a 7 or 7 1/2). Also, I did some research and the top part is designed to be a tad bit wider to compliment a woman's foot shape. I decided to order the 7 and they fit perfectly! Definitely a glove like feel on your foot. They are intended for running, but I have worn them hiking and walking and it's the best walking shoe I've found in a while. I highly recommend them!

It is an incredible shoe. I love to be barefoot and it worked instantly. I wear 8 1/2 and that was to big and roomy, so I switched to 8. Zappos is fabulous with return and has fantastic customer service. I hiked for hours, the first time I wore them, no blisters, no discomfort, simply amazing! I am not sneakers kind of person, but I do appreciate good design. They look good and feel good.

These are amazing. I had heard that wearing them really works other muscles and they certainly do. After doing a mile and a lot of it uphill my calves really felt it the next day. I also feel it is really helping exercise my toes as wearing these is more of a barefoot experience. Thank you Zappos I ordered them late on day and they arrived the next! How terrific is that.

I love these shoes! I've been wearing minimalist shoes and/or going barefoot for over a year now. At first I thought these might have more support than I wanted (padding on the heel, a slight arch from the sole of the shoe) but it hasn't turned out to be a problem. I wear these shoes to work at a grocery store, where I stand and walk on concrete floors for 8+ hours, and I've been very comfortable. They look good, too. I get lots of compliments on them.

Fantastic! This is a real hiking shoe breakthrough. Good fit, blister and rub free on the first wear. Very grippy in both sloppy mud and dusty steep. Exercises the foot. Extremely light, which benefits both hiking and packing. Not sure I would wear these for super long hikes if your feet aren't really strong. Usually wear a 6.5 but take a 7 in these -- runs slightly small and a little extra give is good for hiking in these. Good as well for wide front of foot, high instep and narrow heal.

So, I've been running recreationally for years and for years ive experienced various pains, hamstring, feet, hips etc. Im a 41 year old female about average weight. I have worn these shoes every day for the last 8 days to run and not a single pain post run. They re-align the gait in such a way that you push off from the balls of your feet. No heel strike. Its like dancing which is what running should be like. Forget podaitrists, forget running shops, get these shoes!

My new favorite shoe. This shoe worked wonderfully on pavement walking around the city and on a day trip through a slick cave system. I have a wider foot and am thrilled this fits like a glove. I only wish it came in more colors.

I had to size up a half size because I like to wear my running shoes with heavier socks and these shoes are made to fit snug. But I love them because they weigh nothing are very flexible and have great traction.

I love these shoes. They are good for running around in and walking etc. They help keep me from rolling my feet inward. They run small. I had to return the 91/2 and order a 10. I have flat narrow feet and these are close to running around barefoot which is what I mostly do.

Bought this for my girlfriend and she loves it. One of the best workout shoes she as ever had.

I really like these shoes, but I do have to wear thin socks. They rub a little on the back of my heel. Some reviews said to buy a half size larger, which I did. But, thanks to Zappos' free returns, I was able to send them back to get my real size, which fits so much better.

I love these shoes! They are light and comfortable. The front of my feet are wide...the roomy toe box is perfect for me. Very comfortable. They do run a bit small so I ordered them 1/2 size larger than I normally would! I wore them for a 1/2 marathon on city streets and they were great. I had no trouble at all. I can't wait to save up for my second pair! Great shoes.

I love this shoe so much I hardly take it off. I was looking for a light athletic shoe for air travel and easy packing, and it's just right. I ordered the size I normally wear and it fits perfectly. I may just have to order another pair in a different color.

I wondered if this style would offer enough support for my high arch and find it very supportive for walking. Quite comfortable and attractive on a larger foot.

I chose these shoes because I wanted a minimalist running shoe, but didn't want the ones that "feature" toe separation. These were exactly what I was looking for. At first, these shoes are a good workout for your calves, but you get used to that, and it's worth it for the free and light feeling they give you. I think they were designed to be worn without socks, but they feel a little rough on the tops of my feet, so I wear them with thin socks. I've been running 5ks twice a year for 16 years, and I just ran my best 5k in these!

I love these shoes, they're awesome. Zero breaking in required, comfy on a long walk after putting them on for the first time. Comfortable for walking, comfortable for sprinting and lifting weights. Going to buy more! I have slightly wide feet and these don't pinch my feet at all.

The most comfortable shoes I have ever owned. I wear them almost every day. They Looks great with jeans too.

I haven't taken them out yet, but walking around the house, I like the glove feel, how it hugs the sides of my feet, but not happy about the soles, thought it would be thinner than how it actually is. It feels like two rubber ovals, one on the pad of my foot, the other on my heel, forcing me to walk mid stride, but yeah, it feels chunky on the bottom. Wish it were thinner on the bottom with the same sharp rock protection.

Love this shoe. I bought two sizes. My regular 6 to wear barefoot and 6-1/2 to wear with socks as they ran a little small. But otherwise, this is extremely comfortable. Considering other colors.

The Merrell Pacer's are fantastic! Although it's taking some time to adjust from just lightweight low profile runners shoe to the "barefoot" runner, I know after the adjustment period is over I will love them. They really make you focus on proper running form. Every running muscle is more thoroughly engaged with these, I find I'm actually more sore along the entire length of my muscles with these (a good thing!). My advice - be patient and let your body adjust slowly! I ran once a week for a month in them then worked up. I only use them for 5 miler runs or less, not my long runs. They do run small, I ordered a 1/2 size up. I wear them for trail running as the trail barefoot was only offered in men's (bummer). Maybe someday soon they will sell the women's trail version?

I love these! I changed my running completely. Feels freeing and cool on my toes, and I love being able to feel the ground beneath. (I train on the treadmill though, so not sure how they would be over pavement.)

Phew, they stink! just be prepared; technology hasn't advanced to the point that they're above stinking after you've been wearing them for a while. But they're surprisingly supportive. I walk 4 miles round trip to and from work every day & needed a shoe I could wear every day that could support my foot and put up with the wear. So far, these shoes have been great. It's been ~1 month and I'm satisfied.

These are really cool shoes! I'm not a runner, but bought these for comfortable walking shoes that I could wear in the summer with no socks. The first time I wore them was a full day walking at Disneyland. They were totally comfortable right out of the box, no blisters.

Very comfortable shoe. I did not mark the width area as the toe area is a little wide but the top where the bands under the shoe laces is a little tight. If you have a high arch (which I don't) you might have trouble getting it on. I wanted to add gel inserts for more arch support but the bands under the laces made it way too snug. Despite all that I took a 2 hour trail walk the first time and they felt great!

I was eager to start running in a minimalist shoe, and tried on both the Nike Free and Ecco Biom but didn't really like either. I was so happy to find that Merrell carried a line as well. The Pace Glove is so comfortable you forget you are wearing shoes. They are super light weight and will be easy to travel with. And...I love that they come in so many great color combos (that aren't neon like Nike). My husband has now bought the men's equivalent.
