I love these shoes. I bought them in red, wore them one day, and bought another pair in black. I've worn them for everything from regular walking, to Turbokick, to Boot Camp class, to running. I ran 3 miles in them yesterday. I probably shouldn't have gone that far my first time wearing them because my calves are rather sore today due to the fact that you have to run a little different. It took absolutely no time to break them in. These are a great alternative for those who have thought about wearing the Vibram 5 Fingers. You'll draw less attention to yourself. I have rather wide feet and they had plenty of room. Highly recommended!

The most comfortable shoes I have ever put on my feet. These are a dream come true. I have always hated gym shoes - the bulky feel, the disconnect as to what's under your feet, and the inches they added to my height. Merrell barefoot is so different. My feet can move and feel as if I actually was barefoot! I can say I'm a customer for life.

These shoes are great however my only complaint is they are a little snug in the toe box if you have slightly wide feet.

Words can't express how much I love this shoe. I bought a pair for hiking in North Carolina because they're seemed to be waterproof and have good traction. I was nervous about the whole "barefoot experience" thing. I don't feel "barefoot" in these, I just feel extremely comfortable! I have flat, flexible, narrow feet. This means my feet are almost always uncomfortable. Before these I bought special narrow, extra-padded running shoes that ironically kill my feet. These shoes are amazing for running, hiking or walking. They're also extremely attractive. Best shoes ever.

I run barefoot (I mean actually barefoot) and was looking for a shoe that I could wear on city streets or trails where there's a risk of sharp rocks or glass. These will do the trick, but the soles are a bit thick and rigid, preventing your soles from properly feeling the surface of the ground (probably what I love most about being barefoot). If you truly want to feel barefoot with some protection, I'd probably go with something more moccasin-style. That being said, these are incredibly comfortable, with a surprisingly supportive sole and nice wide toe box. And they look normal enough that I don't mind wearing them around with jeans. I'll be throwing out all my old running shoes this weekend.

I love these shoes. Merrell did a great job creating a barefoot shoe that looks good, comes in attractive colors, and is true to size! These shoes make your feet look small and graceful. Even though they are light and flexible, the sole still feels thick enough for protection. My toes have enough room. There is some arch support which is sort of visible in the pictures. I can't stop looking at these because they look so great.

As an active, aging athlete with hallux rigidus and narrow heels, it's difficult to find a shoe that allows me the range of motion I want but doesn't cause pain. I found these perfect for weight training and walking and because they're streamlined, comfortable and cute, I ordered a second pair in red for everyday casual wear. May go for the lavender, too and two friends have ordered them since I got mine, and they're terrific with denim!

Great shoe, I'm pleased with the construction and quality. This one is excellent for those who wish to transition gradually to minimalist or barefoot running and don't want to wear Vibram FiveFingers around. I had to order 1/2 size larger than usual in these Merrells because, although width was fine in my regular size (wms 10), the length wasn't sufficient to keep my big toe from feeling crowded when I walked. In general, the toebox is roomy and really lets you spread your toes out.

These just arrived and I love them except for the fact that, upon trying them on, they felt a half size smaller than marked. I am already planning to exchange them for the next size up. Otherwise they look great, feel great, and I can't wait to get the "right fit" so that I can take them for a run.

I have bad feet, knees, hips... you name it. Because of bunions on my big and little toes and a circulation problem that causes my feet to swell, I haven't been able to wear sneakers in at least 15 years. NOT ANYMORE! I have been wearing these Merrell Barefoot Pace Gloves for 2 mile walks 3-4 times a week for a month, and I haven't experienced any of my usual foot or knee or hip problems. The toe box is so wide that my toes can really spread out and there is ZERO pressure on any of my bunions. I love these shoes and I'm going to buy additional pairs just in case they stop selling them. I usually wear an 8.5 Wide in shoes that I don't wear socks with, and 9 Wide in shoes that require socks. I have been wearing socks with these, and the 9 medium fits perfectly, so I would say they are true to size. As always, Zappos shipping/service was impeccable.

Major problem with these...they're so comfortable I don't want to take them off when I get to work! A note, I had to go larger than normal. I usually wear 9.5 to 10, and I got these in 10.5 for a snug fit.

I have two friends that have these shoes in different colors and brag about their comfort all of the time! I am not much of a sneakers gal, but do love Merrell! Recently, I have had a need for a closed in light weight shoe that was not heavy like a gym shoe, therefore I looked to Zappos, who had my size and was cheaper than what my friends paid at a local retail store! Yippee! I tried them on when they came and love them, I am a new fan! Thanks Zappos!

I have two pairs of these Merrells sneaker. I love them. I thought that they ran a bit small. I would suggest going up a half a size.

I love these! They fit my feet perfectly and are super light. These are great for people who don't need too much support, and want a light shoe.

This shoe is great for feet as it fits well in the heel, hugs your arch, and has a wide toe box to allows your forefoot to spread naturally and be in full contact with the ground. This wide toebox where my toes can fully spread is the feature I have had the most trouble finding in shoes. The whole shoe has a flexible elastic feel without being constrictive. The only downside to the styling is the elastic at the back of the heel. It makes me feel like a little kid with an elastic waistband, but it is not glaringly obvious. Otherwise great style, great color, great fit!

I wore these without socks and went on a long trip with lots of walking through airports and sight seeing. I was surprised at how very comfortable they were. None of that "new shoe" breaking in period. I walked A LOT and at the end of the day my feet felt great. I'd say even better than in my workout tennis shoes with socks! After a few days of continuous wear they got a little stinky but it says you can wash them on a gentle cycle. I haven't tried that yet but they seem durable so I think that will work out just fine. Overall great product. I'm a size 11 with a medium to wide foot and they fit true to size.

Very well made - a good fit - closest to being bare foot. Good alternative to 5-fingers shoes if your toes don't fit the slots like mine.

I love these! I am a very active person and I was leery about getting the Naked Shoe technology with no arch support or cushioning...but these are so great! I have not tried running in them yet but I have worked out on elliptical & bike & circuit trained with them & really like them. Plan to invest in a few more pairs!

These are great shoes and they're my first foray into barefoot shoes and are much more comfortable than I expected. They are super cute, too. And Zappos was awesome in getting them to me the day after I ordered them.

My latest face pair of shoes. They're light, breathable and very comfortable. The name says it all...fits like a glove! I've given it as a gift, they're that good!

I think that these shoes are intended to be worn barefoot. There is no extra space and my toes fill up the entire space at the very end of the shoe. It is very comfortable, but think that if you plan on wearing socks your normal size may be too small. I wear either an 8 1/2 or a 9, and bought the size 9. If I want to wear socks I would have to purchase a size 9 1/2. What I love about the shoe is slim style and the colors. I wanted something that I could wear to the office with my black slacks. This shoe looks good, not too casual.

Based on other reviews saying these run small, I ordered a half-size up and they fit great. They are lightweight, comfortable, and very breathable. I wore these almost exclusively while walking around Paris. My only complaint is that the elastic bit at the heel grips a bit too snugly. When it lies directly against my heel, it would cause blisters to form. But if I pull my socks up past the elastic, that issue goes away. Despite that, I think these shoes rock and would still recommend them to everyone.
