I bought these for my son. He wears them all of the time. He tells me that they are very comfortable and I haven't heard any negative comments. He also likes them because they keep his feet cool in the Summer months. No complaints here!

I bought these for my husband for our trip to Italy. My husband is very particular about shoes since he's had several ankle and foot surgeries. This shoe, worn without socks, survived 2 weeks of walking on cobblestone, moderate hikes, and casual walking. He was very happy with the comfort and how light the shoe is. Several Italians even asked about them during the trip. He was reluctant about the "minimalist" concept but overall, he loved this shoe.

Great shoe for running. It's the first time I try a barefoot shoe and I love it. Zappos service is great as always.

The weight of these shoes is the first thing that you will notice. They are not only light, but have the appearance of running shoes for pros. The next thing is the shape of the shoes folds around your feet like gloves and aids to the support and incredible comfort.

I LOVE this shoe. This is my second pair. My all-around shoe, for running, walking the dogs, on trails and around town. I am a gal, with wide feet and find this shoe very stable, cool, comfortable. I wore my second pair for the first time in a 10K race. Not advised, but I knew the shoe would not have any tight spots to rub. And it did not fail me! I have various Merrell barefoot styles, (both mens & women's). Altogether I have 9 pairs, and these are by far the ones I LOVE the most! Also I appreciate that this updated style now have some reflective material on them the previous ones did not.

Did research before purchasing and this pair was highly recommended on several blogs and random websites. I also purchased 1/2 size smaller based on the reviews - no regrets whatsoever, the shoes are very comfortable and stylish! Worth every penny.

I have a wide foot but this wide size is really wide. I had to return for the medium width. Other than that a great shoe.

Recently learned going barefoot is good for a person. Luckily Merrell built this shoe to make that practical. I bought these to replace my traditional walking shoes and really like them. Feel good with very thin socks, but my sister wears hers without. Washable. 71 year old female.

I bought these sneakers because my feet would hurt every time I would go running, and I heard a lot of good things about the minimal running sneakers. Now I own two two pairs of Merrell's Barefoot sneakers, and they are all I wear. They are comfortable to run in, as well as to wear everyday.

These shoes are very comfortable. If you are looking for a shoe that provides excellent feedback this is for you. The sole is very thin but the material provides the proper protection for your feed without sacrificing feel. I'm very happy to have found these.

These are great. Very light and trim. Almost feels like you're not wearing shoes. I needed a wider width and was lucky that the only barefoot choice that comes in wide was an acceptable color. I haven't worn them enough to say anything about durability, but so far, I like them a lot.

Initially bought these to use in CrossFit but didn't care for them. Really liked the fit, style and quality, though, so hung on to them anyway. They are now my #1 hiking shoe. I wear these any time I'm off the beaten path and absolutely love them. Great for running through the woods w/ my dog or on a day hike. Excellent toe splay and super light and flexible. Overall just an awesome shoe. Definitely recommend.

I'm Army Vet. I've got plantar fasciitis, pains in my toes, torn ligaments in my left ankle. My goal is to slowly strengthen my legs. So far so good. I've wore them for an hour - legs feel great.

Excellent shoe. Needed extra room in the toe-box to fit a wide foot and this shoe has it. Great for running trails on dirt and grass. I don't think that I would choose this show for running pavement unless you are ready for it. The instructions point out that you will find a few new muscles when you start using this shoe and they are right. After running with them for a couple of days, you'll strengthen those muscles and be fine with it. The thin sole actually helps my stability since I can feel the ground better than with a conventional thick soled running shoe.

Awesome shoe - order at least a half size down though to compensate for the spacious toe box and barefoot wear. I've been running with it in the city and through the park. Going to give it its first hiking and camping trial this summer, but I'm confident it will be great.

I am loving them. I got huge feet (Size 15) and they are amazing while working out. A whole lot lighter on the feet.

I have a pair of Five Finger shoes, but love these more. So comfy and the arch support feels great for a barefoot shoe. I will definitely buy another Merrell Barefoot shoe.

Awesome minimalist shoe. Comfortable wide toe box and just enough cushion to feel the ground but not every little rock.

I've used minimalist shoes/gone barefoot for years, and in my opinion this is the best minimalist running shoe available. It's the first shoe that I like more than my own homemade huaraches. There is a spot where it chafes my right big toe knuckle, but I think that is specific to the pair I got and once I broke them in it ceased to be an issue.

The Barefoot Trail Gloves are astonishingly comfortable on my extra-wide feet, have just the right amount of grip - they feel like my feet, but better. I wear them with thin socks. Unlike FiveFingers, you can wear these in public without stares, and I found the toe box to be more comfortable and mobile than the individual toe pockets on the 5F. I wear these at the gym, out hiking with the dog, around the house, and for everyday wear. I'll be buying more when I wear them out. I usually wear orthotics in both shoes. With these, I don't bother; the walking act is so much more engaged that I don't need the support. I exchanged my initial order for a whole size down (9W; I usually wear 10EEE) and they fit perfectly.

I tried the New Balance MT20 and Vivobarefoot Evo M of minimalist shoes and always found them to be too small for my size. I am 6' 3" and a size 13 US. I read the reviews for these and other shoes and noticed that they were all smaller than the marked sized. After ordering a size 14 US for the other too brands, they were still too small for my foot and returned them. Although I ordered 14 for the Merrell, it fits me just perfectly. The shoe is excellent, light, and delivers on what it reads. I have started using it for travel as it is very comfortable. Highly recommend it if you want a minimalist shoe.

These are my first barefoot style shoe and I love them. I use them at the gym and for trail hiking. They take a little getting used to, but overall the break-in period was short. My standard Merrell hiking shoes are one size larger than these. I normally need a wide 12, but a standard 11 with the barefoot was best.
