I am very happy with these, but had to order a larger size than my regular size. I'd recommend ordering 1 and a half or even two sizes up.

Purchased this shoe after trying on the Moab Ventilator in a store. Zappos didn't stock the size I needed in the Ventilator so I went for the Waterproof. I found the Waterproof a little smaller than the Ventilator, but still a comfortable shoe.

I have found these shoes to be comfortable with good support. I have personally found waterproof shoes to be a little warmer on my feet than non waterproof shoes and these seem to be like that as well.

Awesome shoe, waterproof and warm, but definitely order half a size up as they run large. I usually wear an 11.5, and the 12 fits perfectly. They were well worth the price, fantastic right out of the box, and have only gotten better as they break in.

I love these shoes. This is my second pair - I got them for a backpacking trip through Europe and they held up beautifully. The nice thing about these shoes is that they make them in a wide, which is nice because I need a wide toe box. These shoes last forever and I have hiked in outdoor terrains with them without any problems. As for being waterproof - not 100%. Walking through snow left my feet a little damp.

Great pair of shoes. I was looking for waterproof and I got just that! I wore them during a rainstorm and they worked perfectly! They seem a little slippery on inside tile type surfaces but performed exceptionally well outdoors. I was a little hesitant to spend the amount of money but when I looked at similar shoes in retail stores the price was actually better. I did have to send a pair back as they run smaller than the actual size but with the great return policy it was no big deal!

I ordered this shoes in a size 12 and they were to small. I wear an 11.5 with all my shoes but these shoes run small. Beautiful shoe, but I recommend that you order two sizes up. For example, if you wear a size 9, get an 11. Trust me on this. So, I ordered a size 13, and they fit perfectly. Thank you Zappos for being so cool with all my three or four exchanges to find the right pair that fits. Zappos rocks.

Very comfortable and warm. Perfect for the winter. They keep my feet dry as advertised. I only wish they were available in more colors.

These shoes are fantastic. Very comfortable and run true to size. I will have these for many years.

I have been wearing Chameleon stretch for years. I cannot find the Gore-Tex ones so I tried the Moab. Other than the shoestring tie, I do not see a difference. They are immediately comfortable. There is something about a Merrell shoe that fits me.

Very good buying experience from Zappos! Shoes in stock and prompt delivery. Shoes are waterproof as described. Hiked on AT in wet weather for 6 days and feet stayed dry.

This seems to be a good replacement for the Merrell Radius, which has been discontinued. Being from Seattle, I like a shoe that stays dry in damp conditions. I also appreciate being able to get a shoe in wide sizes. The fit seems a touch smaller than the Radius (perhaps a quarter size).

Shoes fit perfectly, great for power walking. I like the earthy look. Haven't had a chance to check out the waterproofing.

An excellent shoe. Unsure of the long-term quality, but it held up to a month of punishing hiking, biking, and trudging about. Very happy I chose the waterproof model. Invaluable during one trudge through soppy, dewy fields. I was the only one with dry feet. Knocking a star for the fit; I run 10.5-11 and ordered this in an 11, and it's a bit tight. Would probably go 11.5 next time. Felt a bit narrow too. Not a deal-breaker, and I clearly survived intact, but my feet were happy to stretch out after long hikes. Definitely recommended, although I wish I'd had time before my trip to exchange for a half-size larger. Leave time to experiment with sizing!

I really like my Merrell Moab waterproof hikers. They fit right, right out of the box. They have good heal support and look great. I bought them sight unseen, having looked at them on Zappos. They're a winner.

I am into power walking and this footwear provides me the support and comfort for the rugged roads on Kandahar Air Field in Afghanistan.

Nice shoe but not the most comfortable Merrell I've purchased. Seemed a little snug compared to the numerous other pairs of different Merrells I have purchased, I usually wear a 12 had to go to 13 in these and not good for a long workday which isn't typical for their shoes.

Not waterproof. I thought about returning them. My feet would get soaked just from walking in the morning dew, which likely shortened the life. I managed to wear these shoes out in 6 months, where others last a year. I think it is a middle of the line shoe that is OK at best.

These run about whole size too small. I'm a pretty good 12 W, but I'm sending these back for some 13 W.

Was very happy with the shoe until on the second wearing the lining came apart from thin side of the shoe. Most annoying as now will have to return the and wait for replacement

Incredibly narrow and small. I have four pairs of Merrells. Chameleon 3 Stretch I bought in 08, Snowmotion 8 Zip from 09, Jungle Moc Leather from 2010, and Westward Boot from December 2010. Everything has fit the same. Don't know what the deal is with these.

I normally wear a size 11 women's but I found that they were just a wee bit to small with my toes rubbing when I wore thin socks. So with the help of Zappos wonderful customer service I ordered a men's size 9.5 and they fit perfectly from the moment I put them on, and with thick socks. Didn't need to break them in. I wanted comfortable, waterproof shoes for walking our dogs and these are perfect!

Was expecting clunky, heavy hiking shoes. These are as light and comfortable as my best running shoes. Although they were intended for an Alaskan hiking trip, I wear these for daily walking too.

Great shoes. Terrific support. Seemed to have remedied some of the foot pain I have regularly.

I recently took a trip to Chile and bought these for the various terrains that country has. While these did take a couple of days of use to 'break-in' and were a bit tight during that time. Once broken in, I was amazed at how light they felt on my feet and lack of foot fatigue. I never got to check for waterproof-ness because it hardly rained, but I am guessing they will hold up being everything else about these shoes is high quality. I love them!
