The Bahama was one of several shirts I wore while flyfishing the flats of Mexico. Although the shirt looks great, it is NOT comfortable--in a word, the shirt is HOT! The fabric doesn't breathe very well, & I also thought it wasn't soft enough. I wore the shirt one time, & then ended up wearing several old Eddyline shirts for the remainder of the trip. Will treat my old shirts with kid gloves, because I will not buy another Bahama. Unfortunately, Columbia has joined the retail bandwagon of putting appearance ahead of performance.

Assumed this shirt was your alternative to your discontinued eddyline shirt--cannot compare! The fabric--the fit--the quality- several pegs below the eddyline shirt, which I have purchased many times over the years and love! This shirt is too long and the fabric has a wrinkled finish. If you expect a roomy fit--the shirt is long, but narrow. I am petite, but could not wear this shirt. Bring back the eddyline!

This shirt fell apart the second time I wore it. A seam in the front lost the stitching and the edge frayed so badly that my repair looks terrible and won't hold. The shirt also turned slightly yellow after one washing, although it is supposed to be white. Shipping took a really long time.

The fit was a little large and I did not care for the feel of the fabric, it felt crinkly and didn't flow like some of the other Columbia shirts I've seen. Sadly, I will be returning. I love these shirts on other people, I'll be looking more closely at the fiber content. I appreciate Zappos return policy.

These shirts run very small. I returned both. What a hassle to order from this company. I wanted to change my size minutes after ordering, was told I could not change the order once it's placed that the article must be sent, when you receive it then you request a return label, then return. What a mess! No time for all this. Will never order online from this company again.

Size, fit and material are very nice. I know because I already own 4 of these shirts and am very happy with them.
However, I wanted pink ("tiki pink") and its not, it's orange, or at least peach.
Returning it.

The M size is like L, so I bought the wrong size. Buy it S if you are not sure if you should buy S or M.

Everyone else rates this shirt very well. I disagree. On the plus side, I like the color, brighter and prettier (coral) than the photo. And the buttons are kind of a cool two-toned style. Other than that... The fabric is just awful, feels like paper, and wrinkles like the blazes. It looks like an unmade bed. The cut is square, boxy, shapeless, and the fit is enormous. I bought XS, and it looks like I borrowed my Dad's shirt. I hoped washing it would shrink it and soften the fabric, but nope. It still feels like wax paper. Given the brand name and the price, I expected much better.

It does not feel like clothes to me. It is like plastic or something odd. I want arm protection from the sun but I just hate these and returned them. Love most Columbia products though. The size chart is off or other people wear their clothes tighter than I am used to. The good news is that if you like this material the pockets are big enough to hold your phone.

These are nylon, my bad, thought they were polyester. Super stiff and uncomfortable. Washed one, used softener, still stiff and scratchy. Also does not breath like other sun shirts I have. Will be returning the others. Quality is good as Columbia is expected to be but does not suit me at all.

I ordered this shirt thinking it was the Columbia Tamiami. Not! The fabric on this shirt is stiff not soft like the Tamiami. This shirt also has buttons not snaps.
The fit was bulky. I usually wear a medium and the arms were too large. I wanted a navy shirt, but not this one. Will order another Tamiami as I love that shirt.
Returning this one. Thanks for your speedy return policy Zappos!
