I was hoping this shirt would be made of a very light weight, thin fabric. It is not, it is quite heavy. I like the cut but it also was pretty big on me. The XS in other styles have fit me perfectly.

I ordered this for my wife thinking it was the same material as my PFG shirts. This was a much stiffer material not the soft silky feel

I wasn't too happy with the quality of my most recent purchase, but fortunately, I always wear my sleeves up, so the unstitched edge of the sleeve is not visible.

I love the color! Brilliant blue. I'm a bit disappointed that the same shirt I bought a few years ago is bigger than this one. I would like a bit more room in the hip area.

Material is very wrinkly. You can't use steam when you iron it.

It runs on the large size. I had to return. Seemed good otherwise but also longer than I prefer (5’4”). Thinking the material would have been too hot for me in hot sun.

I liked the harbor blue color. I bought the XS and it fits just perfect. I am very thin/small overall on top - "A" cup size. I like the style and design of the shirt, with sleeves that can be worn rolled up (with a loop & button) or can be worn long and the front pockets. The only thing I am not a fan of is the fabric. It's polyester and a little bit scratchy and uncomfortable. Not as soft and breathable as a previous version from Columbia.

The sz M in women's was way too big. Almost seemed like it should have been a men's.

Shirt is not functional for my purposes. It is heavier than my other PFG shirts. Material is stiff and wrinkles...definitely not good for travel or just throwing in a bag.

This shirt is too boxy for my liking. Might be better for someone whose trunk is a little thicker than mine.

I expected Columbia garments to be of a quality I can depend on. Hence I purchased several shirts. I am sad to say I am disappointed with the fabric quality as all the areas that there is possible friction, I see Lint appearing from the thread and it's ugly. I sport a bold Columbia label with lint all over the shirt. So your label speaks for its self. This is of substandard fabric. An out door garment cannot be of such poor quality.

I liked the color of this shirt and usually buy this type of Columbia shirt for hiking because I like the sun protection and can roll up the sleves if I want. Unfortunately, the material was too heavy and stiff. I like a softer material so I was surprised when I received this one because I have about 7 in various colors. I also wear an XS which is what I ordered but it was too big.

This shirt has a very boxy shape/fit that does not suit me. I have several other Columbia shirts in different styles and all have a pleasing shape to the waist, and those I have been wearing for many years. This one I'm sending back simply because of the boxy shape. The quality of the construction looks to be of Columbia's standard excellence. The shoulders and arm length are just fine - I'm 6' tall so arm length is important for me. Just the shape does not work for me.

Let me start with the fact that I am sun sensitive and get overheated easily. I bought this shirt in the Peach color with hopes that it would be cool enough to wear on spring/summer walks in the Midwest and block the sun. I also bought a pair of the Anytime Capris to wear with it.
As far as fit: I normally wear shirts Large to X-Large (I'm a size 16). I would say this should be labeled a Man's size large. The shoulder seams sit way lower than any of my other shirts and it's immensely baggy. The button holes were also very stiff and difficult to work with.
Coolness factor: I wore the shirt for an AM walk with my elderly dog in the middle of May on a 70 degree day. We weren't going all that fast and by the ten minute mark I felt like I was suffocating in the shirt. The shirt has vents in the back, but it did nothing to promote air flow walking at a leisurely pace. By the time I got home 30 minutes later I was sweating. Wearing regular cotton fabrics this doesn't happen to me, so I doubt that I'll be purchasing any additional 100% Nylon fabric clothing items. As far as the Omni-Shade sun blocking ability. Even with the sleeves down, I could see that my arms were pink and blotchy when I got home, so the sun is still getting through.
So my overall advice to others would be to order a size down from what your normally wear in shirts and if you overheat easily, this might not be the shirt for you.
Sad that I won't be able to wear it except on the coolest of days as the Peach color is beautiful and I do like the overall look of the shirt.

Loved the fabric, shirt but WAY too large going by the body measurements suggested online. Most shirts I take a large...this felt like an XXL...returned it.

This shirt comes out of the dryer on low setting wrinkled and needs ironing - not what I want to be doing. Very unhappy about that. Will probably wear it infrequently. It is also cut large for its size.

I am tall and thin, but this still looks boxy on me anyway. NOT worth $50 either!!!

Small, Sleeves are short, material is heavy type stiff, collar is tiny and could never pop up for sun protection, waist is relaxed for sure with room. These missed the mark for outdoor users to prevent sun and tuck in to prevent ticks. I wear mens to be able to tuck them in and have long enough sleeves and just wanted to finally have a shirt that fits, I am lanky with wide shoulders but tiny 5'7", 125lbs. Frustrated at changes made- were on materials and not fits and not for the better. Still swimming in mens here.

Good material shirt, very cool for the summer but it runs big and having the extra pockets in the front, makes it look even baggier than usual. I regret getting the small size instead of extra small

I bought this shirt to wear outside in the sun to protect my skin. However, it's uncomfortable in hot weather as it doesn't breathe that well. In addition, after wearing only a few times it started showing yellowing in the fabric. When I pulled it from the wash the last time, it had turned dirty colored on the arms, as if it had been soaked in mud. I have not been successful in removing the stains after long soaking in stain remover. I don't know what to do. I spent too much on it to throw it out.

I read all the other reviews which warned buyers to buy down a size or two; that was a huge mistake. I am about 5'6 and 116 pounds with my upper half being very petite (32A). I bought an extra small after reading the reviews when I normally wear a small or sometimes medium in Columbia or other brands. I was disappointed to see how tight it was on my shoulders and on my back. Go with your gut and purchase the size you normally are!
