Great shirt for walking in hot florida. its says on the website SPF 30 but the shirt came with a tag that said it was 50. So which one is it?

Love Columbia products. Been wearing sun protection for years. I am a mail carrier and I am in weather year round. My only wish is that the back of shirts be a little longer. I believe it would help the functionality of the shirts and update the style

Love these light-weight shirts to keep the sun off or keep warmer from cold air conditioning. The only thing about the shirt I don't like is the hem length, which is too long for a petite person. Maybe one day Columbia will have the shirt in a petite size.

The shirt is very comfortable, it gives you room to move and be active. My only complaint is that the shirt was very wrinkled when it arrived. Steaming helped some and washing improved some more but still wrinkly I am beginning to think it will never have that new look, but I like the shirt. My next step is "ewe" ironing it. Shipping folks should check to make sure the items aren't such a wrinkled mess. The shirt was new, had its tags and looked and smelled new but looked like it had been balled up wet and stuck in a sock to dry.

I love the bright color, the vents and pockets and most important for me is the UPF protection. I also like that the sleeves roll up if I get hot. It packs light in a suitcase, so love for travel. I usually get a large size so it will fit in the chest but read this shirt runs large so I went down to a med and it fits.

I am a sunburn-prone veterinarian that works outside in the Texas sun. I have a few of the Columbia fishing shirts to wearing outside-- The Tamiani, Lo Drag, and this one (Bahama). Of the three, this one has the thickest fabric that doesn't wick as well as the other two. I find that I sweat under the back and sleeves and the sweat just rolls out of them when I move around, instead of wicking and evaporating.
I prefer the others for strenuous work, but this shirt is nice for inside and cooler days. It's cute and flattering, though a bit relaxed/large in its fit. The colors are bold and fun.

As a light-skinned lady who needs to stay out of the Texas sun, I'm always looking for sun shirts. This is the ONLY one that provides the ventilation I need so I don't feel like I'm wrapped in plastic wrap. The pockets are great for tissues, house keys and dog-walking bags. The shirts do have a tendency to pill and wrinkle (hence the 4-stars instead of five), but I love them so much I own four, in different colors. They tend to run a bit big, so consider sizing down.

This shirt is great for while you are backpacking. All though this shirt is a little heavy for someone who is trying to go UL. This shirt weighs 7.3oz. This shirt would be great for Fall use instead of summer use.

This shirt isn't as form fitting for a women's shirt as I expected but it does help keep you cool on days when you need a little extra protection from the sun with it's long sleeves.

I received the shirt and like it very much. However it does run large compared to other PFG shirts. I was afraid to exchange it because perhaps the medium wouldn't fit. Other than this, it's a great shirt

I read reviews and recommended to go a size smaller then normal. It took two orders to get it right. I went with my normal sizing and I felt it fit better. I like to have some room in my tops. I liked the blue color.

This is my 4th PFG Bahama shirt. I love the light weigh fabric of these shirts. Great for beach wear to protect you from the sun.

Well made, good quality shirt. Runs quite long and large in the body. I'm 5'6" 140 lbs.

I like the color, the fit, quality, length and the features such as sun protection and mesh ventilation at the back. I bought it to have it handy when I go for a summer vacation. I have not worn it yet so I don't know if it will keep me at least cool on hot, summer days.

Shirt was too large & I needed to return it.
When I brought it in to the store, I found out it was a shirt for "fishing" (had small hoops for attaching things). Did not see this mentioned in the ad. Thought I was getting a hiking shirt like the ones I already owned. When I took it back I had to pay an additional $15.00 to get what I wanted.

I bought this shirt because I had bought a similar Columbia shirt at a local store and liked the material very much. When I received the shirt, it was a much heavier material and hot. The material in my earlier shirt was thin and cool. I was very disappointed. It would be alright for winter use, but my dermatologist insists that I wear long sleeve shirts even in the hot summer.

Would have given a 5 star review but button holes seem a bit small especially on the cuffs and material always appears wrinkled. I live in a climate where i wear this almost everyday and need to look "neat" . The printed fabrics work much better than the solid fabrics for some reason. The shirts that can be lightly ironed still hold the wrinkles.
Overall, great shirts.

I returned the large, it was very big. I usually wear a large in button down shirts and I feel like I should order a medium or maybe even a small. Button down shirts tend to be tight across my shoulders and bust, but this is not at all. Other than that, it seemed like it would be a great shirt for hot weather. I like the feel of the material. The color was true to what it seemed - I ordered the Pixie (mint green) color.

Not a bad shirt and will keep and use it. The fabric is a little translucent, so best worn with a tee shirt underneath. Fabric feels somewhat "plasticky" and can't attest to breathability yet as haven't worn in warmer weather. I wish Columbia and others would make sun protection shirts in petite sizes. Costs me twice as much since I always have to have the sleeves shortened. C'mon Columbia, petite people fish and go out in the sun too!

I'm looking for a new work uniform and bought this one to try out before committing to a switch of 450+ purchases. Really like this shirt, it seems to run as a relaxed fit which I personally like. However it does seem to wrinkle more than I expected. Overall pleased with this and it's still in the running for our company to make a uniform switch.
