This is an awesome shoe. I suffer from plantar fascia, morton's neuroma, and knee pain--and thus I know what pain means! The Kayano 17 provides the very best cushioning of the heel and the metatarsal area. Most, if not all, other running shoes don't provide enough forefoot protection. Like all running shoes, the toe box is not too wide, but I can tie my laces to make the toe box more roomy. I don't really have any complain about Kayano 17--except that I wish the wide sizes also came in black. Also, for all running shoes, order half a size up. Feet swell significantly after prolonged running and exercise in the gym.

I have run 2 marathons and many races in the Kayano series and I love them. I have regular width feet, but 2 bunions. When I run, I don't think about my feet. I have tried on almost every stability shoe on the market, but always go back to the Kayano home.

They are amazing! The gel support really works, I can run better and my legs don't hurt. Very comfortable for long runs.

Okay, these shoes are simply awesome. After a long illness where I lost a lot of muscle, I had the worst time finding a pair of shoes with support, comfort, and cushion that I could use to get me out and walking/jogging again, as I rebuilt my muscles. Nothing was working out for me until I came across the Kayano. I love them. If they work so great for me, then they must be just double awesome for someone who is stronger and more muscular. Try 'em!

Redesign is much better. Excellent comfort and support. Love the shoe. Strength train weekly in this shoe, terrific support.

Spectacular running shoe!!! Just ran a half marathon and was the fastest in my age bracket!

Great shoes! These run 1/2 size short and run a little wide. Very comfortable and supportive with excellent arch support.

I ordered two pairs. One is for in the house and the other for running outside. These shoes are even better this year because the laces are not as long as they have been in the past...no more double knots.

I just started running and these are my choice for shoes. They are absolutely amazing. After I work out I don't even want to take them off. Best running shoes and they look great. I needed some extra arch support so I used special insoles in them.

Excellent service from Zappos...took only one day from the time I ordered and delivered to my house without the extra shipping charges. Shoes was exactly what I needed and I have already used it to run 2 half-marathons without any discomfort and I'm on my way to use it for my very first full marathon this month! I just love running with these shoes!

These shoes are great! This is my third pair of the Asics Kayano in three years. Love the way they fit.

I walk in these shoes and it's like walking in soft, comfortable slippers. I have problem feet so it's always great to find a shoe that works for me.

I had purchased Asics Gel-Kayano 16 about 6 months ago and loved them! So when I saw Asics had came out with the 17 I wanted them in black and they are awesome!

These shoes never disappoint. They are perfect for me. I have flat feet, and most other shoes designed for over-pronaters hurt my feet. But the asics Kayano's are great! Light and cushiony, and with support for pronaters. However, I waited to by my new pair of Kayano's because I kept reading that the 17's were lighter and better than previous models. But to be honest I couldn't feel the difference.
