Since I received the Asics Gel-Kayano 17 I have ordered the Brooks Ariel to decide which shoe is best for my multiple foot problems – plantar fasciitis, overpronation, and heel pain. I love the lightness of the Asics and the cushioning in the heel, but I think the Ariel has better overall support for the pronation. I am still deciding and may return the Asics or keep both and wear the latter only in the house. Zappos' return policy makes this time possible and I can't say enough about how pleased I am with Zappos’ fast delivery time and that it's free and returns are free. This is the best online shoe store I've dealt with. Thank you Zappos.

This is an excellent running shoe. I am training for a marathon and have covered a lot of miles in this shoe. It has great cushion, arch support and toe box room. This is a must for a serious runner.

Very impressed with the shoe. Bought strictly because of the information provided by Zappos. Size recommendation correct. I really like the offset lacing.

The Gel Kayano are my favorite shoes for exercising! I have bought at least 10 pair and will continue to do so. The are very supportive and cushioning!

This is a fantastic shoe! I ordered/returned many (Thanks, Zappos!) due to an unusual size needed. This is the one I kept. It has firm support where needed, and flexibility where needed. Extremely comfortable. I walk 5-6 miles a day and no blisters from the first wearing. They feel almost like I'm not wearing shoes at all. I'm ordering a second pair for future wearing, since I have such problems finding a comfortable, practical, well-fitting, intelligently designed shoe. Fab!

Worth the money. A tad bigger than my Kayano 16 shoes, but same overall comfort and style.

These fit perfectly. They are soft and light. I am looking forward to wearing these shoes to prevent knee pain that comes with wearing other athletic shoes. All my friends with orthopedic issues have recommended these shoes. I cannot wait to use them!

These are the only running shoes that I will buy! They are super comfortable and have plenty of support. Been buying these for years! They make you feeling like running!

First let me say Zappos has the best customer service on the web and even stacked against bricks and mortar stores. These Asics are a great shoe but I found that they only last around 4 months with heavy walking. Which I walk an average of 5 outdoor miles 5xs a week. The reason I purchased them a second time was they are superior to any other walking shoe I have tried. No break in period, no pinching, just a great shoe that has eliminated my foot pain and plantar fascia along with a good dose of stretching.

I suffer from plantar fascia and the heel pain is so bad when I get done working. I've tried so many different shoes (Air Max 2011, etc.) and have had no luck. I did a lot of research and gave the Gel Kayano a try and they are awesome. These are the only shoes that don't hurt my feet when standing for long periods. The cushioning in the heel is amazing. These were definitely worth every penny! I think they may run a half size smaller and they do feel a little narrow but it doesn't bother me.

These Asics are awesome! Never a break in period. They fit and were so comfy right out of the box. Thanks Zappos for speedy delivery. Only wish Asics had more colors to choose from.

I bought these shoes mainly for walking and they are great and the best sneaker I have found in a while. The extra gel that runs through the shoe makes them amazingly comfortable. I liked them so much I bought another pair as a reserve. Great shoe and I definitely will look at ASICS again when shopping for a sneaker.

My wife and I wear these. They are awesome. Roomy and cool. Very light. Very cushioned support. We are not runners. We use them for daily use because we are on our feet a lot and they are very stable. My wife has bad knees. I have peripheral neuropathy and these are my favorite when my feet are hurting.

These are great running shoes for me. I have a wide foot and need a lot of cushioning to deal with a tricky knee. The Gel-Kayano has been a perfect shoe. So much so that I didn't think of trying anything else when it was time to replace them. And I bought them in black and in white from Zappos.

As always Zappos never fails to give complete service. These ASICS came within 2 days, I ordered a half size up and started wearing them upon arrival, these are great shoes, and help my feet after being on them all day as a nurse. ASICS always seem to be getting better.

I ordered these on Saturday, got them on Monday! Zappos, you rock! I cannot wait to wear these shoes tomorrow for my work out class. I have issues with my toes going numb. I'm hoping these will fix that problem. Will do another review. The shoes are very cute! Prettier in person than pictured and they feel ultra comfy!

I recently purchased the Asics Gel-Kayano 17 sneaker because I have a high arch and also plantar fasciitis. I read lots of reviews on sneakers made for this problem. This Asics sneaker had the highest and most positive reviews for my extremely painful heel pain. I received the sneaker within two days of placing my order. This sneaker really lives up to its reviews for plantar fasciitis and high arch problems. It has so much support,especially in the heel area. Zappos is awesome! They provide free shipping and two day delivery. I ordered a second pair since I am on my feet all day. I received the second pair the next day! Zappos is 100 percent dedicated to their customers,which is rare today. Thank you Zappos!

For me, this is the perfectly designed fitness shoe. If your foot pronates like mine, you should seriously consider this shoe. The design minimizes that. Wide toe box allows room for sport socks. Off-set lacing allows you to comfortably lace up snugly for walks/runs. Looks substantial yet is very lightweight, even in my size 11. This is my third pair and this generation 17 is the best yet.

I love these sneakers for walking and working out. You only need one sneaker. They have a gel heel support. I have been wearing this brand for more than 10 years. They are true to size and last about 6 months with very heavy use.

These are my very favorite running shoes! They provide just the right amount of support and cushioning. I am slight over-pronator so I need little extra stability and these shoes do just the trick! Perfect!

These shoes are the best running shoes that I've ever owned. I have flat feet so running has always been an issue. With these shoes and my orthodics, I'm finally able to run a long distance without severe pain in my feet and knees. I credit this to the shoes. These shoes have great support for your feet.
