These are great looking boot. I was very pleased with the distressed look and casual style. They make your feet look small! The fit was perfect, felt true to size and are comfortable. However, I am very surprised and disappointed with the heel. The shape, size and look of the heel is great but the material used seems cheap. The heel feels hollow and is acoustically, loud. As well, I feel very unstable when walking on smooth or hard surfaces. The heel has a plastic base that easily slips on smooth surfaces. That is not what I expected in what I deem, very expensive boots. It seems like this simple detail was overlooked. If the heel cap had a rubber bottom it would change the "fear factor" in walking on any surface!

As I look down on my feet right now, I am wearing these boots in the gray. They are the MOST comfortable boots I have ever owned. I don't want to take them off, although usually when I get home, the first thing I do, is kick off my shoes. I found the fit to be accurate and my slightly wide feet fit perfectly into this boot. I have a high arch, and have always had trouble getting boots on - even short boots, but these do have a zipper, and slide on easily and feel amazing. The arch support is great and the heel height is perfect - I usually wear flats, but these boots actually fell better on my feet that flats!! Highly recommend!

I just ordered these Brujas, and the Pikolinos Verona. I can't believe how quickly they came! Out of the box, the Verona felt a little snug in the toes. Granted, I'm 39 weeks pregnant, but I'm not all that swollen and haven't had much trouble with my shoes (besides getting them on). These, Brujas, felt perfect out of the box. I don't think I'll need any break in time. I would be totally comfortable wearing these out today, giant belly and all, and I wouldn't think twice about carrying around my newborn or my 3 year old with these on. The Veronas might be a little cuter, but these are cute too, and totally comfy. Will be my new everyday shoes. My only concern is that one of the zippers stuck while putting them on. I hope this doesn't become a recurring problem. I will try running some wax paper over the zipper. That usually does the trick.

I have trouble buying shoes. I have trouble with the fit. My feet are narrow, my heel slips out. I love this boot. I could wear them every day. If they were in black, I'd buy another pair. I'm normally a 9 and 39 fits perfectly. I wear them with and without socks. Any way I wear them I'm happy.

If you don't care for heels with a plastic end piece, then I'd skip these shoes. They are loud when you walk, and there is less traction due to the plastic heel, which is important when you live where there is often a coating of snow or ice on the ground in the winter.

As I write this, I am wearing these boots, ready for an evening out on the town. I love them - for work, play, shopping... I have to say that at first glance I was not sure they were real leather. Something about the finish (so smooth, and uniformly dyed an odd shade of black) evoked faux leather. So much of that around, I was dubious, and for the price, they had to be leather, or I was sending them back. Then I pulled them over my very high insteps and onto my wide, ungainly, high-arched feet (so hard to fit comfortably), and I was hooked. And now, after many wearings, I know they are truly leather. They have softened, shaped themselves to my feet, and become my second-favorite boots, worth every penny.

Very cute with dresses, skirts, and tunics with leggings. My only complaint is the loud heel clicking. I feel like everyone is watching me when I walk down a hallway! I don't like clicky heels!

These are great boots. I am between a 37 and 38 and had to go with the 38 which is at times a tad large if the socks I wear are thin. But it works. Nice color, quality and comfort, can wear them all day just like a shoe. They are certainly not narrow and have a wide toe box which is good, as it does not squeeze toes.

These are gorgeous and so comfortable. The leather is extremely supple. More supple than most boots that aren't even waterproofed! However, I'm not keeping these because the Cenzia, which I thought was gray, is more of a taupe. I already have taupe boots and if I had unlimited money I'd keep these, but it doesn't make sense.

These are really comfortable and have great style. The small heel and shape of sole feel great. One thing I love is that inside, behind the heel, there is a leather cap for your heel to slide down when you put them on. Very well made and really soft leather.

I simply love these boots! Pikolinos boots fit my feet like a glove, so comfy and stylish! And bonus for me, they make my big feet look normal size! No break-in period for me--wore them all day the first time. If you like this boot, the tall version of the Brujas and the Pikolinos Sitges are also super!

I originally ordered these in my normal size but they were a bit short so had to return those and re-order in the next size up, which fits okay. I think these are really cute and I'm pretty happy with them - only drawback is that they're too wide in the heel. My feet are difficult because I have really narrow heels and high arches but the front of my foot is a normal width, so it's tough to find things that fit. I have some 3/4 length insoles that I stuck in these and that seems to help, so figured I probably wouldn't do much better and am keeping these boots. The leather is really nice also.

This is the most comfortable and stylish ankle boot I have ever owned. The gray looks great with jeans. I have long narrow feet (11 AA) and the 42 fit perfectly. As with all things Pikolinos I always get compliments on the look and style.

These boots get 5 stars from me. Fit is amazing and are very comfy. Walk around Annapolis for two days sight seeing & shopping in them. Great!

This was my second pair of Pikolinos purchased 2 weeks apart and I just ordered a third style. I can usually only wear sandals but with the frigid weather I took a chance on Pikolinos and cannot describe how wonderfully comfortable they are. These boots are the greatest I have ever had. It's the next best thing to be shoeless! Give your feet a gift and try Pikolinos. I love these boots!

Love this boot! So sassy and comfy! This style is very popular in Spain and on a recent trip I could not find them in my size. But at Zappos USA I found them! I may get a second pair just to have as a backup!

I love the great brown color. I am a size 9 and found the European size 40 very comfortable. The boots do make your feet look smaller. The only small issue is the heel is a little hard and loud on hard surfaces. I wear to a carpeted office so no problems for me. Comfortable to wear all day long. I have several pairs of Pikolinos shoes and enjoy all of them for comfort and style.

How weird! Other reviews say it runs the right size, one says it even runs small, but I'm a pretty consistent 6.5 and the 37 was big, to the point I could get my finger behind my heel! I have narrow feet, which may be the issue, but I have ordered the 36 instead. I can tell, just a perfect stylish short boot for the winter, which is why I re-ordered in another size. Gotta love Zappos for making returns so easy!

I was hesitant to spend this much but now that I have these it's a no-brainier. I've become a watcher of your videos and my decisions are usually based on those. I could see it was a beautiful, quality-made shoe with a flexible sole and heel height I can tolerate (I have arthritis in my knees but style is still important to me). I also appreciate Zappos attention to details -- the guesswork is taken out of remote shoe-shopping when you can refer to their specifications. I checked the circumference dimension to make sure it would fit my ankle. I felt totally confident in my purchase and suffered only a little anxiety worrying, "What could possibly go wrong? This is Zappos." And of course that was completely silly. They arrived next day, they are gorgeous, fit perfectly and I love them. Shoe-shopping heaven.

If you want a boot you can walk in all day, this is it. I bought these for a trip to France and wore them out of box in complete comfort. That said, the leather was a bit dull looking, but I used mink oil to give them a slight luster. These are my go-to boots every day!

I love these casual boots. They look great with jeans. Really comfortable.

Compared to other Pikolinos these seemed a little wide, but it is probably the style. Thicker socks or adjusting the buckle make them fine. Very comfortable and trendy. Ordered in the chocolate which is now on sale. Zappos credited me the difference. They are great to deal with.

I petty much liked everything about this shoe but the European sizing which didn't go up high enough. I bought size 41 (10 1/2 - 11) and it was too snug and short in the toe box. I usually find the American size 11 to be more than roomy but not this so they're going back. Would have liked a 42. I would have preferred a square rather than tapered heel for more stability. And I'm always looking for more traction which I'm beginning to think is just too much to ask for all in one stylish boot. Still if you're a size 10 - 10 1/2 this should fit well. It will look great with skirts or jeans. Shaft is not too high and I believe will flatter legs in skirts.
