These boots are comfortable, look great, and the fit is perfect. They felt slightly wider than I expected but actually I like that because they do not pinch the foot at all. My size is 5 M and the European size 35 matches that perfectly for me. These are very easy to walk in with the low heel. The zipper makes them easy to put on and take off. The only thing that is missing is that I would like more arch support. I tried placing a separate gel insole in them for support but that made them too tight of a fit and they feel better without it. Regardless of that they are very comfortable and stylish and I would buy these again. Other thing I might mention is that these arrived 1 day sooner than promised.

These looked all right out of the box. I put one one and it was really snug through the toes and front part of the foot. I walked about ten feet on my hardwood floors and almost WIPED out, the little heel is cheap plastic. I skidded across the floor. I can not imagine wearing two of these on my floor or outside. I am returning. Also, the over all quality for a leather boot was lacking. Just looks like a cheap boot.

I have ahad these boots for several years now and they are great. The wear well, I did resole them but that was normal for the amount of wear. They are stylish and comfortable. I have them in brown and black I like them so well.

I love these boots! I bought them for a trip to Europe this fall because it was suppose to be raining. The 39 felt way too tight, but the 40 was too big. I kept the 39, wore them around the house and they stretched perfectly to my feet! I wore them walking over cobblestone streets, steep stone steps, etc. They handled the day well. The cobblestone was a little hard on the sides of the heels, but at least my heel did not break off like those of two of my fellow travelers!

Great boot! Very comfy right out of the box. I've had my eye on these for some time and decided to splurge and buy these as a Christmas gift to myself! So glad I did!

I love these boots! They are super cute with jeans and skirts. The height of the heel makes them stylish while still being comfortable. The boots are slightly narrow through the toes but with wear the leather relaxes.

Had a pair of these in brown and loved them. Comfortable, wore them all day, lasted years. Just bought them in black and they look great. I wear them with jeans and skirts.

These are really comfortable but the heel has zero grip/traction. I bought these because they're waterproof, but would not feel comfortable wearing them on a rainy day for fear of slipping on wet surfaces. Will have to send them back. Regarding size: I'm in between a 5 and 5.5 and the 35 fit me perfectly with thick socks on. I usually add an insole like Superfeet or Powerstep but that might make them fit a bit too snug.

Love these boots! Stylish but very comfortable. I purchased a pair a size larger than usual but with European sizing I seem to wind up between a 38 and a 39. A light sock helps the slightly larger fit. The color is just gorgeous.

Love these boots! The leather is soft and the boots are so comfortable. I have received so many compliments on them and asked where I got them. I always reply, "Zappos!"

I was not familiar with this brand until I tried a pair on at a mall store. They didn't have my size in the style I wanted so I turned once again to trusty Zappos. This is a great boot, very comfy right out of the box. Love the style. My normal size is an 8m and I did need the 39 rather than the 38 I can sometimes wear. Great shipping!

The heel height is perfect -- no back ache but classy. The space between the boot and the ankle is nice and close so they look great with skirts. The leather is rich and supple. No one makes boots as well as Pikolinos. I'm looking for other colors in this boot I like it so much.

I took these out of the box and thought, these will never fit. They look too small. So I tried them on. Not too small at all! Insanely comfortable right out of the box! Like many of the reviewers I have extremely high arches, and I usually buy size wide, not because my feet are particularly wide (they are not) but because the high arches pull up the vamp and my toes get pinched. My toes are quite happy in these boots. And I bought the grey, which was plenty grey enough for me, although the slightly distressed look might lead someone to think they had a taupe tinge. This is a really lovely and cute boot.

I love these boots! They were comfortable from the moment that I put them on, and continued to be just as comfortable after walking in them all day. They are also stylish and go great with jeans or dress pants.

I had been searching for a pair of ankle boots for months, just wasn't loving anything I saw in the department stores, most everything was brown or black and just a little too plain for my taste. I have a pair of pikolinos sandals that I LOVE and have held up well so took a gamble on their boots. I must admit these boots are now my absolute favorite go to boots for most all of my outfits, despite that I had already purchased a long pair of black and brown boots earlier this season. They look great with jeans, leggings or skirt and tights. The color is so awesome it goes with everything. I wish I had a belt to match is the only complaint. The comfort of these shoes is great, I am not one to buy shoes just for looks, I have really high arches and get foot pain easy if I don't wear good shoes and these fit the bill. The sole is rubber and does not slip. If you are looking for an ankle bootie and haven't found the "one" yet, give this a try for sure.

I love these shoes. I wore them today. Very comfortable and stylish. I have a pair in black too. good fit Zappos very nice to work with. I a very satisfied.

Best shoe brand ever! I also have these in the taller version and they are amazing! Never had to break them in, they were comfy since day 1! Even though they have a slight heel they feel flat while walking. Look amazing with leggings or jeans and super comfy- definitely recommend!

I have these boots in several colors. I do not have to break in Pikolinos boots. I had foot surgery three years ago on my ankle and the top of my foot. I have RA so all of the bones in my feet are compromised. I can wear these comfortably for six to eight hours. I can't do that with any other brand of boot.

These are my absolute favorite boots ever. I've worn them almost everyday for a 2 week tour of Ireland and have worn them at the horse farm in Florida. Stylish and tough!

Hooray! Finally a pair of boots that don't hurt my feet! Not only do they not hurt, they are so comfortable I feel like I'm wearing padded slippers. I love these boots. I will certainly try another style from Pikolinos.

Very comfortable boot. I have a ball of foot problem and struggle to wear any type of heel. I can wear these for several hours and not have pain. I put a foot pad to give extra arch support. My foot is normal width but runs a little narrow and I had plenty of room for the extra pad.

These, by far, are the most comfortable boots I have ever owned or worn hands down. They're like wearing a slipper right out of the box! I work at a shoe boutique and I steer my customers looking for comfort and style to Pikolino's ever time!! I own the grey ones and I will own the black and brown pairs some day as well. So many boots, so little money. :)

Really cute boots! Gray was more taupe-ish, which is more versatile. I usually wear 8-1/2 med, but I have a bunion on one foot which makes width a challenge. Size 39 was perfect and they were comfortable right out of the box. No problems with my bunion.
