I bought this mat, and I fell in love with it! It provides ultimate comfort and grip for my practice. My mat is perfect.

I use this mat upside down -- this way, it stays stickier longer and you don't have to do the salt treatment before using. I love the thickness, stickiness, and durability of this mat.

Have heard people rave about the mat, love it. Very sticky and good length but takes time to get used to not slipping out in a downward dog. I have used it around 6 times now and think the grip is improving

I've now used my PROlite Mat for about a month and it is to date the best yoga mat I have ever purchased. I love the fact that it is light weight and absolute love the fact that the mat has a great grip on both floor and under my feet. My previous mat was not a Manduka and my feet would always slip and the mat would slip on the floor as well. This mat has amazing grip which really has improved my yoga practive. LOVE THIS MAT!

I love the mat, very coushiony! I like the lightness compared to the pro. It is slightly more narrow but no biggie. The color is great. Working on breaking it in, haven't done the salt scrub so it is a little slick yet (nothing compared to my old cheapo mat)

This is my second Manduka mat. Would not purchase any other!

I've had my mat now for a couple months and I love it! It's grippy (after wearing it in some) and comfortable. I practice just about everyday and it's holding up really nice. Except just a couple places where my toes are constantly pushing on it.

I heard great things about this mat and wanted to try it for myself. I decided to take the plunge and buy my boyfriend a prolite as well. We both love using it! It's nice and compact but still supportive for my knees. People with knee problems might want to check out the PRO mat just because it is slightly thicker. It also does get a little slippery when sweating. I suggest getting a yoga towel for extra gripping when doing bikram. I love the feel of the mat under me (even under the towel) and I believe that it is worth it. This mat is easy to roll up, toss in my bag, and go! Love this so much. I'm thinking of getting a PRO next... but I think I might have to wait a little to splurge. Thanks Manduka!

I couldn't get this colour in the UK when I bought it although it is now available so I ordered direct and it was delivered 3 days later. I chose this mat over the pro as it's lighter so I can take it to class. This is my forever mat so it had to be the right colour. I had no need to do the salt scrub as I don't really sweat but I have found on the odd occasion I feel like I could slip but for the 3 hot days a year we have I'm happy to use a towel over the top! 100% happy with my purchase

Great mat robust but comfortable great for piyo and other high energy yoga type exercise

I bought it to bring it to a yoga retreat in Portugal and it is awesome so light and also so thick and cushioned

I love my Manduka PROlite Mat! I got it to replace my old worn out mat that I had picked up years ago when I was just thinking about doing yoga. I am always careful to roll it with the top facing out so that when I unroll it for each class it rolls down towards the floor instead of up at me. My one complaint is that it is a little slippery until you break it in. If I do a really active Vinyasa or Hot class I am slip-sliding around by the end of it. I had a lot of people recommend breaking it in with a salt water scrub, but I never did this. I just keep using it and the protective film is wearing down a little bit. I just wish I had known this fact before hand, but it hasn't been a huge deal in may performance or my use now. Overall, it's a great mat and easy to carry around with me anywhere I go!

Seems to be firm enough so you don't put so much pressure on your feet. My other mat was too soft and it was leaving footprints

When I first received the mat I did slip in heated and non-heated classes. I considered the salt wash but decided to wait it out. I received my mat end of May and it is now end of July and the slipping is no longer a problem. It was really just the first month that took some breaking in. I love coming to mat now! I did purchase a YogiToes tessellate rskidless mat towel recently because it was on sale and that has changed my hot yoga life. My mat alone did pretty great in 80+degree classes but the last 15min were always a struggle. With the mat towel I feel super dry from beginning to end of class!!

I always was a bargain shopper when it came to mats. This was the first one I invested in. My practice improved greatly after purchasing this mat. I was more steady, I could enjoy my practice more. It's very light weight and easy to carry and cleans well.

I loved my mat! It was great and just started yoga teacher training.. and then it got stolen

I have been using this mat a few times a week for 6 months now and it still looks brand new! I love the thickness - comfy enough when it's on top of concrete but not too thick and squishy.

Perfect for Hot Vinyasa or any type of yoga! Thick enough and durable!
