As a yoga instructor, my friends, family and students always ask me what mat they should buy. I always recommend Manduka. The PROlite is my favorite because it's a little lighter for transporting to class, but still has enough cushion to keep your joints comfy. If you are tall, go for the longer size. I'm 5'2" and this mat is perfect for me with quite a bit of extra room. I'm so happy I treated myself to a new PROlife mat.

I have had this mat for about 8 months, and use it almost daily. It is pretty much the best mat I've had in over 15 years of practicing yoga. The thickness and cushioning is just right, and it does not weigh too much. The mat was a bit slippery when I first purchased it. I did not do any sort of salt scrub, or leave it in the sun, rather I just practiced yoga (often hot), sweating all over it, and then cleaned it with the Manduka mat wash afterwards; it was no longer slippery after about a week, or so, but I still like using the eQua Hold towel on top, as I do sweat quite a bit. I teach yoga, and have recommended the mat to several students. They all love it, too!

I have never seen it before I had only read and seen video reviews. When I took it, I was excited. I only have it a while, but I think I will not try anything else. I also bought the Local Mat Carrier.

I bought this mat a month ago and is with me everyday for my yoga practice. It supports grip for hands and feet, cushion for the knees and comfort of practice.

I bought this mat a month ago and have been extremely satisfied. Would highly recommend! Def need performance towel if doing hot yoga though

I have finally found the yoga mat that offers me the support I need in all of my yoga classes, no matter how steamy it gets in the studio. I would recommend this mat to anyone interested in yoga, from beginner to seasoned yogi.

What a delight to practice on this mat!! This is my 4th practice on my new mat and I love it. Support and cushion for knees is a big improvement over my old mat. All poses feel more stable. No sweating slippage issues here. Thank you for a great product, lighter than the regular pro and portable!

I followed the sea salt treatment before first use. Even though this was the pro lite, it is nice and thick (and has some weight to it). I did a side by side comparison with my Lulu mat and the quality difference was significant. I'm glad I went over budget on this mat because in the long run, it will last way longer.

I love this yoga mat. At first it was a bit slippery but all you need to do is leave the mat out and practice, practice, practice!!! on it for it work its magic! It has awesome grip and is not sticky, the color is calming and beautiful. There was no smell and I love how easy it is to travel with!!

I've felt the quality of the mat since the beginning. I am a novice in yoga practice and I have tried some mats before choosing: in the end I choose Manduka basing my decision on others opinions and personal judgment.

I bought this in Oktober and I`m so happy that I recommend this mat to my girl friend. And I am practise, practise............

I love Manduka mats. I have had the BlackMat Pro for years, and it's the only mat I use for my daily home practice. However, I travel a lot, and I do a lot of international yoga trainings, so I've gone through so many travel mats, all of which have been disappointing - either too light, or too heavy, too thin, or natural rubber mats that shed all over my clothes and skin. I finally sucked up the cost and got the ProLite for my travels, and I couldn't be happier, Manduka's Pro mats are by far the best mats on the market - as a longtime yogini, I've tried pretty much every major brand, and Manduka is the gold standard. I'm so grateful for my beautiful acai-colored ProLite!

I am very happy with my new PROlite mat. It's big and thick enough. At first it is a little slippery.

This mat has great grip. It doesn't slide around like my old mat did. Beautiful color. I'm so glad my boyfriend purchased this for me ! I also have the manduka towel which is great to put over if you'll be doing lots of hot yoga. It grips to your mat; just spray it with tea tree so you don't slip.

So easy to carry, great surface, and the color is absolutely inspiring.

I love my may. The color is so fun and it withstands my slippery hands so I stay in one place.

I love it because it has all I needed: life warranty, adherence and still light weight. My Prolite is portable, durable and adapts to my vinyasa.

I bought this mat about three weeks ago and it has been of huge benefit. My notoriously sweaty hands have prevented me from even liking yoga...when I'm in downward dog, I just slide tremendously making it very unpleasant experience.

Beautiful BRIGHT blue color. Great product, s8nce I bought my first Manuka pro I became a lifelong customer of them. I bought the pro light because it will fit in my suitcase so I don't have to hull around my pro but can still have a great and cushioned mat when I travel. The teal is much brighter than it appears online but it's still a beautiful color.

It took a few goes to break in, or stop slipping, but now it doesn't slip. It's a very protective, well made matt, so it very comfortable to use. You definitely feel the difference between this mat and a cheaper mat. The colour is more matt than shiny, but I prefer that and with a life time warranty, how can you lose.

We love the PROlite Mat. They are sturdy and super durable, and at the same time, they are not too bulky, so easy to carry around. My husband and I have used them for years, they are like new, and now we just got this nice purple one for our daughter who just turned 7!

I just got this mat a couple weeks ago. color is true and seems to be pretty grippy however not as much as the Pro but the lighter mat is working for me.
